“I still think you’re being too hasty. How long have you known Shen Shao for? How much do you understand him?” Having an egg in his insides made Lu Shijin stop acting gentlemanly and started trash-talking Shen Shao, “Let me tell you, as Shen Shao’s twenty-year friend, he’s really  . . .”
“I’m really what?” A low voice suddenly came from the call. Lu Shijin immediately changed his words when he heard it. “Shen Shao’s a great person. Gentle and devoted, handsome and rich. The most important thing is, he knows how to take care of you. I think you’ll definitely be happy with him.”
Shen Shao’s face appeared and smiled at Lu Shijin, “I didn’t think that you’d have such a high opinion of me, thank you for praising me in front of Xiao Li.”
“It’s nothing, you’ve always been this good.” Jun Li looked at Shen Shao affectionately, hearts literally pouring from his eyes.
Shen Shao stroked Jun Li’s head, smiling, “For you, I’ll always have room to improve.”
Lu Shijin saw how lovey-dovey they were and suddenly felt lonely and desolate. His heart suffered many injuries.
“If there’s nothing else, then I’ll be hanging up.” Lu Shijin said.
“Wait.” Shen Shao got closer to the camera. Although he was smiling, his eyes carried no hint of humor. “If there’s nothing important in the future, you shouldn’t contact Xiao Li in private. Although I know nothing will happen with you two, I still don’t want to feel jealous.”
Lu Shijin’s gaze went cold and he raised an eyebrow, “Okay.”
Hanging up, Lu Shijin felt his worries multiply.
Shen Shao had Jun Li under a tight leash, but Jun Li was too blinded by love to suspect Shen Shao of anything.
It seemed that it would be difficult to separate the two.
He needed a plan to let Jun Li see Shen Shao’s true motives.
Lu Shijin had been in the guest room for the entire day and felt a bit hungry, preparing to go downstairs for some food.
Jun Yu was often out, not that Lu Shijin knew where he went and what he did.
There was no sound from downstairs, so Lu Shijin naturally thought that Jun Yu wasn’t there.
He was looking for something to eat in the fridge, preparing to eat it while watching TV.
He looked at the news, it was reporting about merpeople.

The hostess used the word ‘attack,’ but was just another way of saying rape.
After eating Lu Shijin stretched and rubbed his round stomach. After being holed at home for a couple days without moving, he felt like he gained a lot of weight.
Taking advantage of the ugly thing not being here, he should go for a swim. He hadn’t swum in a long time.
It was so sad, he was clearly the owner here, but was being treated like a servant. When would it end!
Lu Shijin was very decisive. He wore only swimming trunks and went into the pool room. He was shocked to find that there was something in the pool already!
The thing’s upper body was a man’s lean and strong body, the lower body a fishtail.
The entire tail was covered in white and pearly scales. It leisurely thumped the water surface every so often, creating small waves.
The ceiling of the swimming pool was glass, and the moon shone right above. The bright moonlight came through the glass and coated the fishtail in a layer of silver, like the best kind of white jade.
The tail’s beauty was beyond beautiful.
Lu Shijin was immediately captivated by the tail.
It was too perfect! He felt like he fell in love at first sight!
He subconsciously approached him. The merperson was leaning against the ledge, his back to Lu Shijin, so he seemed to not have noticed.
Lu Shijin carefully got close to the merperson and looked at his face with his breath held. Seeing Jun Yu’s face, he forgot to breathe.
Huh, he’s not ugly?
No, how could he be ugly, just look at that tail, it’s like a work of art made by God!
Jun Yu seemed to have fallen asleep and his tail stopped moving.
Lu Shijin stared at the beautiful white tail and felt his hands itch. He couldn’t control his urge to touch it, to see how it felt.
It was his first time seeing a real merperson, surely a touch wouldn’t hurt!
Lu Shijin was just about to touch it when he saw a scale poking out. It seemed like it was stuck, making all the surrounding scales off.
Lu Shijin felt annoyed, how could such a beautiful thing have irregularities?
So he tried to pat that scale back to its correct spot.
The first time didn’t work, there seemed to be something hard under the scale, preventing it from going back, so Lu Shijin applied more force and tried again.
“What are you doing?” The merperson suddenly woke up and looked at the bold human touching his “reverse scale.”
“You’re awake?” Lu Shijin smiled kindly. “See, your scale is poking out, I’m helping you smooth it back.”
Then, he patted at scale. It was nice and warm, not cold like he expected, and felt very nice.
But no matter how much he patted it, it wouldn’t go down, as though there was something supporting it. In fact, the more he patted, the further it seemed to poke out?
Lu Shijin noticed Jun Yu’s expression grow worse, anger gathering on his face. His smile gradually froze and he had a bad feeling . . .
