Yu Jun handed the box to Lu Shijin, “For you.”
Lu Shijin took it and removed the pearl. He weighed it in his hands. It was slightly warm and the authentic feel of a high-quality pearl.
He still couldn’t believe it and inspected it again. He even secretly scratched it, but there were no marks on the pearl’s smooth surface.

Lu Shijin stuffed the pearl back into the box and felt like his entire world view had changed. He began to believe in the old man’s story.
“Um, Yu Jun, what is your job? Do you often gift people pearls?” Lu Shijin measured how big the pearl was. “And ones that are this big?”
“Not often. if someone helps me, then I should repay them.” Yu Jun said calmly. “It’s not like it’s worth much, I have a bunch of big pearls at home.”
Lu Shijin understood. This was clearly a dumb rich second-generation!
Yu Jun moved his gaze to the box in Lu Shijin’s hands, “But not ones that are as big as this.”
Lu Shijin felt flattered.
He couldn’t keep someone who gave him such a great gift at the door.
Lu Shijin welcomed Yu Jun into the living room and got his robot to serve tea.
Lu Shijin put a cup of hot tea in front of Yu Jun, “Here, have tea.’
Yu Jun smelt the vapor from the cup and didn’t seem to like it, so he put the cup down. But he still thanked Lu Shijin.
Lu Shijin sat beside Yu Jun and put the box with the pearl on the coffee table, saying apologetically, “I was actually joking with you that day, I don’t want your things. This pearl is too precious, it’s at least a hundred million yuan more than the one at the exhibition. I can’t accept such a valuable thing for free, but I do accept your feelings. Let’s be friends from now on, okay?”
“I’m not giving it for free, I actually have a favor to ask of you.”
“Oh? A favor?” Lu Shijin asked with interest, “What for?”
Yu Jun slowly turned to look into Lu Shijin’s eyes, his blue eyes deep.

Lu Shijin asked curiously. “Male or female? What’s their relation to you?”
“My younger brother, he’s a month from turning fifteen.”
Lu Shijin asked again, “Is he lost? Why can’t you find him?”
Yu Jun’s gaze became cold, “He ran away from home.”
Lu Shijin smiled, showing his understanding. “Fifteen year-olds are in their rebellious phase, after running away from home, he’ll probably come back by himself after a couple of days. Right, what does your brother look like? Do you have a picture?”
“No, but I know who took him away.” Yu Jun smiled secretly, his smile a bit strange.
“If you know who he went with, doesn’t it make it very easy?” Lu Shijin didn’t notice Yu Jun’s expression and continued giving out hints eagerly. “You should report it, or investigate the people who took him.”
“I also thought like that.” Yu Jun looked at Lu Shijin darkly. Lu Shijin subconsciously shivered from the gaze and quietly shifted back. “Why are you looking at me like that?”
Yu Jun retracted his gaze and tapped on his wrist.
A hologram appeared, with a picture of a bright blue car.
Lu Shijin felt like the car was a bit familiar, like the car he had.
Looking at the license plate, it really was his!
Thinking back to what Yu Jun told him, a younger brother, fifteen years old . . .
Shit!
Lu Shijin felt his scalp get numb and leapt up from the sofa like a startled bird, backing up several steps.
“Who are you?!”
“You should be asking what am I instead.” Yu Jun slowly got up, smiling wide enough to show his white teeth. “Friend, haven’t you been trying to find me? Now that you’ve found me, why do you look so afraid?”
Since Yu Jun had made it so clear, Lu Shijin couldn’t pretend to not understand.
He didn’t expect that the merpeople’s king he had been looking for was right in front of his eyes!
Lu Shijin felt his extremities get cold, alarm bells ringing in his head. He resolutely turned around to escape.
But Yu Jun was much faster than him. Lu Shijin had only taken two steps when he felt pain in his neck.

When he woke up, Lu Shijin was lying on his sofa. He felt Yu Jun sitting opposite of him, so he pretended to still be asleep.
