Chapter 45: Christmas with the girls
“Hello?”
“Ah, Sumire-san. It’s been a long time.”
After taking the phone, Sumire felt like clicking her tongue.
The voice on the other end of the phone is someone she wouldn’t want to talk to if she could, and it was no exaggeration to say that it was the person she hated the most in this world.
“We miss you, you don’t seem to come here these days. I’d like to see Kanade-chan, too.”
“I’m sorry, My husband is busy, and Kanade is busy spending time in schoolwork and with her friends.”
It’s a roundabout way of saying that she doesn’t want to see them, but the other party didn’t understand that
The person Sumire is on call with now is her husband’s father, the person who insulted Hayato and Kasumi back then.
“I’m sorry, but I’m busy here too, so if you don’t mind, please leave it at that.”
“Hmm, well, it can’t be helped. Oh yeah, is Kanade-chan by your side?”
Kanade
 She is at the end of Sumire’s line of sight, but she is immersed in the exchange they had with Hayato. Kanade has also been informed of the outbursts they have uttered, and although she used to adore her grandparents, she has now lost all affection for them to the point where there is not even lingering affection was left.

Sumire, who has experienced the happiness of having a child after giving birth to Kanade, could not overlook what she heard later about  what happened to Hayato and her mother, Kasumi.
“It’s all because you seduced him, you w***e.”
“I don’t want to see the face of a child born with the blood of her’s. I won’t give you any help at all, go elsewhere and die on your own.”

 This is what she heard from her husband, it’s quite the verbal abuse, and not something to be forgiven
Above all, as someone who has a child of her own, she knows how much it must’ve hurt Kasumi’s heart to hear such horrible things said to her son
 she’s not saying that she understands, but she at least knows how she must’ve felt.
“Now then, father-in-law, if you’ll excuse me—”
That’s when she was about to hang up the phone.
Sumire wondered when Kanade came in, staring at her with glazed, vacant eyes. Sumire was startled by the sight, but Kanade then broke the silence.
“Mama, give me that.”
“
 Yeah.”
She couldn’t tell what was in her mind with such vacant eyes, but she kind of already had an idea of what she was going to say because she was her mother after all.
“Hello, Grandpa? Un
 un. That’s right. You know, there was one thing I wanted to tell you—”
Then, after a long pause, Kanade took a deep breath and continued,
“I hate you grandpa and grandma. I don’t even want to see you two anymore.”
“
 Ah~ ah~”
Sumire put her hand on her forehead when her daughter said it so bluntly.
If she didn’t know about Hayato, she wouldn’t be this disgusted with them. But now, Hayato’s presence has become huge for Kanade. That’s why Kanade has come to say this much.
“I gotta go.”
Just saying that, Kanade hung up the phone.
She didn’t say anything as she handed the phone to Sumire, but her expression was apologetic.
Seeing this, Sumire patted Kanade’s head and smiled reassuringly.
“Don’t worry. We’ll take care of it.”
“
 Un.”
To be honest, she does feel refreshed after what Kanade said.
She knows that her husband will probably have a complicated look on his face when he hears this, but she also knows that he will laugh at them.
Sumire thought that she would like to watch over Hayato as well, the treasure left behind by Kasumi and Kanata.

 Well, maybe it’s not necessary anymore.”

A few days went by and finally Christmas came.
It’s snowing, though not enough to pile up, and it’s definitely a scene worthy of being called a white Christmas.
I was walking with the girls through the illuminated streets.
“It’s cold.”
“Yeah. But I’m warm because Hayato-kun is by my side.”
I was walking as Arisa and Aina held me by both arms.
Sakuna-san smiled as she looked at us, but I didn’t miss the slightly sad look she had on her face. So instead, I promised to sit next to her in the tatami room of the sushi restaurant we’re heading to.
“Still there’s so many couples here. Do we also look like lovey-dovey couples too?”
“I’m sure we do look like one, right? Because they’re looking at us like crazy.”
That’s right.
As Aina said, there were many couples around and I also saw many people who were probably strolling around with their friends too.
Many of them are looking at us.
Naturally, this includes the couples, and after looking at Arisa and Aina, they  then look at me and glare at me as if tongue-tied.
“I’d also like to say that all of you are already taken, and by me

“Ahaha, well, but I can guess how you feel. Me, my sister, and my mom are all beautiful women, after allâ™Ș”
It’s certainly not wrong, the beauty of the three of them is outstanding than any other people I’ve seen so far. Chuckling like that, the two of them acted as if they were going to show off even more to the people around us.

Almost at the same time, they both kissed my cheek as they stood high.
They smiled at each other, their cheeks lightly tinted, and I smiled at the sight of them, too. But I mustn’t forget that Sakuna-san is also right beside me.
“It’s not fair you two. Hayato-kun, I’ll kiss you too.”
Saying that, Sakuna-san put her face in front of me.
Since Arisa and Aina took my arms and I could not move satisfactorily, I had no choice but to accept Sakuna-san as she approached directly in front of me.
“Chuu~ fufuâ™Ș”
Sakuna-san kissed me on the lips and gave a big smile of satisfaction.
I was a little scared to imagine how I looked after being kissed by three beautiful women in just a few seconds. Despite my turmoil, all three of them were beaming at me with smiles on their faces.
After spending such a long time we arrived at the restaurant Sakuna-san had reserved for us.
“Excuse me. This is Shinjo, who had a reservation.”
“Welcome. Please come inside. We’ve saved some space in the back for you.”
The waitress took us to a tatami room in the back.
I took off my shoes and sat down around the table, and as expected, Sakuna-san also sat down next to me.
Sakuna-san, who had taken off her jacket and was now dressed in a warm sweater, then leaned down to embrace my arms with her huge, voluptuous b*****s.
“Mom, you’re reeling from what happened earlier.”
“Really
 What is it? Just looking at you makes me irritated for some reason.”

It was very cute to see her rub her cheek against my shoulder.
I’ve thought before that it’s not right to use the expression cute for Sakuna-san, who is much older than me, but
 well, I’m changing my mind. Cute things are cute, beautiful things are beautiful, and naughty things are naughty.
“I would like to take your order, dear customer.”
After coming in, the female waitress seemed to be concerned about Sakuna-san who hugged my arm all the time while she heard our order from us. After she finished taking our order, she then asked us a question,
“Are you two a couple?”
“That’s rightâ™Ș”
“I see. You two are a perfect match. And, the two ladies over here—”
Arisa and Aina replied to those words with very beautiful smiles on their faces.
“We’re a couple tooâ™Ș”
“We’re lover’s as wellâ™Ș”

 Ehh?”
The waitress looked at us in turn as if she was dumbfounded, and then went away with her head down as she didn’t know what to say back.

 Somehow it feels like she’s having quite the imagination.”
“Isn’t it fine? We’re actually friends who do awesome things.”
“That’s right. Hayato-kun has the three of us as his girlfriends, so you should be proud of yourself.”
Is that something to be proud of?
Anyway, that’s how Christmas started for me and my girlfriends.
