Zeke also has a dagger in his waist.
First, we headed to the Adventurer’s Guild where Zeke accepts the quest to defeat magic beasts, which is always requested.
Ike and I didn't go into the guild but waited outside a short distance from the guild instead.
Because there is bound to be trouble if a three-year-old and a six-year-old enter the guild.
Zeke came back with a quest.

Then we went to the entrance on the west side of the city.
The labyrinth city of Almeria is covered on all sides by large stone walls. There are only four entrances to the city, one each in the east, west, south, and north.
All entrances & exits are guarded by gatekeepers and it is necessary to pass through the checkpoints before entering or leaving the city.
I was told later that this is partly as a countermeasure against external enemies but it is also more to create a blockade in case the labyrinth becomes overrun with magic beasts.

We passed through the checkpoint on the west side without incident.
There was a grassland there. A literal carpet of green spread over the whole area.
In the distance away, cattle and goats were grazing.
Ike and I were admiring the scenery for a while.
After a few minutes, Zeke said it was time to go and we proceeded through the meadow.

“I didn't expect to find them so soon.”

I have no clue what he’s talking about.
I looked at Ike but he didn't seem to understand either.
Then Zeke said.

“There are three goblins over there. Can you see them?”
\n
He pointed his finger.

I honestly couldn’t see, so I

“I don’t know.”
\n
I answered honestly.
Apparently, Ike didn't either.
He was still looking hard in the direction Zeke was pointing.

“It's still some distance away. Then I'll show you the basics, I'll take down two of them and Ike will take down the other one. Just hit them with Fire and you should be able to take them down. Have your sword ready in case you missed.”

After Zeke made his points clear.
He walked slowly to the front of us.
After a short distance, the goblins became visible to us.
They are shorter than we expected. It's about the same size as Ike, around 120 cm.
Their skin is green with a hint of brown.
We slowly approached the goblins so that they don't notice us.
The goblins were laughing while staring at the ground.

A block of stone stroke the head of the goblin in the center and penetrate its head.
The goblin that was hit by the stone bullet fell straight down without a sound.

The remaining two turned to face us.
\n
“Stone bullet.”
This time it hit the goblin on the right side of the head.
The one remaining goblin did not hesitate to rush towards us.

Then Zeke's Stone Bullet also went through another goblin's head.
And the remaining goblin was easily decapitated by Ike.
