====================================
\n
More than a year has passed since the goblin king was defeated.
The name of the city was decided to be Irgusia.
However, it was no longer the domain of Count Carmel and became an area under the royal family.
And Zeke officially became the administrator of the Irgusia labyrinth.
When he went to the capital, he was elevated to the rank of viscount as a reward for offering the golden treasure sword and mithril silver ingots.
Of course, finding the Irgusia labyrinth and security activities around Almeria were also included in his evaluation.
Normally, a low-ranking aristocrat would be subordinate to a higher-ranking aristocrat, but Zeke is not subordinate to anyone in particular and is directly under the king's command. This is no different from the treatment of a senior noble.
However, although this kind of situation is rare, it is not unprecedented.
\n
Count Carmel was also elevated to the rank of Mangrave.
The city of Irgusia was developing as originally planned, too smoothly in fact, it attracted a large number of E-rank adventurers who had completed their paper-era.
Naturally, the city also succeeded in attracting the Adventurer's Guild.
We are still the only one who goes to the 3rd floor because they say that this floor is a privilege only for B-rank and above with multiple nomination requests.
\n
I spent the past year with Ike doing classroom work.
I had no problem with the four arithmetic rules because I had memories from my previous life but I had no idea about the common sense of this world so it was a good opportunity for me to study.
Whenever we studied, both Ike and I would always deplete our MP first.
It is not that I don't like to study but I can't deplete my MP with ease unless I do it at a time like this.
\n
First of all, the country where I live is called the Kingdom of Balkus, which is located in the southwest of the central continent.
In the central continent, wars between nations occur frequently, and the skirmishes are ongoing with the Kingdom of Zarkham in the east. For this reason, this country has been recruiting useful adventurers into the nobility and securing them as its forces.
However, Irgusia is located in the westernmost part of the kingdom of Balkus and is not so much involved in these wars.
\n
It is said that people in this world are taught not to deplete their MP.
They say that if you deplete your MP when you are young, you will frequently lose consciousness or die.
I was surprised because I was actively depleting my MP.
Perhaps, people without magical talents might not be able to achieve the same thing.
\n
I also learned the value of money in this world.
\n
Stone 100 yen
Iron coin 1,000 yen
Silver coin 10,000 yen
Gold coin 100,000 yen
Platinum coin 100 million yen
\n
And so on.
I have also learned about the titles of nobility, which are not so familiar to me as a former Japanese.
\n
The higher nobility consists of duke, marquise, count, and mangrave.
The lower nobility consists of viscount, baron, and (baronets).
\n
The above is the list. According to the world trend, only baronet is not a noble because there’s no right for the children to succeed the title.
In the case of the higher nobility, all others except the heirs are said to be either baronets or commoners.
As I mentioned before, the lower nobility basically serves the higher nobility in most cases.
The king gives lands to the higher nobility and the higher nobility gives lands to the lower nobility.
Viscounts, barons, and baronets are often not given fiefs.
Such is the case with the heads of knighthoods and magic orders too.
By the way, the Viscount’s XX pattern usually contains words that refer to the owned territories or regions.
Count Carmel is a count who governs the Carmel region.
As I mentioned earlier, many of those below the rank of viscount does not have fiefdom. They are like Zeke.
It seems that it is difficult to give honorific titles to such people, and they are left to decide whether to be called "Sir" or "Lord Sieg”. Well, it is good as long as there is some form of respect.
\n
It is not that I have been doing only classroom work and MP depleting all the time too.
Once a week, the four of us went to the boss's room on the third floor.
But after the third time, it was just me and Ike.
\n
And this is the result.

Well, my status has become quite monstrous.
I am sure that I am at least in the upper echelon of C-rank adventurers.
Incidentally, I was exempted from the appraisal ceremony as a special exception. Because I did a lot of work, apparently.
I was grateful because I didn't know what would happen if they found out about my status.
Also, I learned Cure, which is a recovery for abnormalities via Holy Magic.

☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
\n
\n
I'm the one with all the free time right now.
Ike is struggling with the four arithmetic rules so I'm thinking of diving into the Irgusia labyrinth to pass the time.
I've been told that as long as I don't go to the third level, I can dive alone.
Well, being the cautious person I am, I'm going with the members of Azure Fang.
I had always wanted to visit a place I had never been to before in the Irgusia Labyrinth, so I told the leader, Van, about it, and he gladly accepted my request.
\n
We started our exploration at the first level. I had only ever gone to the right of the t-junction on the first level ever since I first time came here and never the left.
I would like to go there at least once to perfect my mapping of the floor.
I proceeded to defeat the goblins in the corridors and rooms.
I walked quite a distance. The first level is probably the widest.
\n
Then we reached the last room, that is, the dead-end room.
The last room was smaller than the normal room. It’s about half the size of a normal room.
And there’s something obviously wrong with this room.
The walls. These walls are made of magic. Or perhaps it is a magical barrier?
When I look at it with my magical eye, I can clearly see that there is something beyond this wall.
I said to Van.
\n
"That wall there, don’t you think there’s something wrong with it? Can I ask you all to go investigate with me?"
\n
It is best to check these kinds of unusual places with multiple people.
Even if it is a trap, it is not scary if we touch it together.
The members of Azure Fang touched the wall like a magic barrier.
It seemed to be a normal wall.
\n
I touched it with caution, and my hand went into the wall without any resistance.
I felt an unpleasant sensation on my hand and arm that were in the wall.
Everyone looked perplexed.
\n
"What's wrong? How did you get your hand in the wall?"
\n
The leader Van came toward me in surprise.
I tried to pull my hand out of the wall but it felt like something was holding me and my hand was stuck.
\n
"I can't get my hand out, can you please help me get it out?"
\n
All the members tried to pull my body or break the wall but it didn't budge at all. There was nothing I could do at this point.
If I had to contact Zeke and the others and wait until they come, I would be in this state for hours.
After thinking for a while, I came to a conclusion.
\n
“Mr. Van, I'm going to go to the other side. Mr. Van and the others should go to my father and report back to him. If I can get back, I will chase after you.”
\n
“I was thinking about that option myself but... it's dangerous, you know? There is a possibility that you might not be able to come back. Are you sure?”
\n
“Yes, sir. I have thought about it a lot in my own way. Please do.”
\n
“Alright. Then Iris and I will stay behind just in case. The rest of you will go to Mr. Zeke and the others to report.”
\n
I was given a very good suggestion so I nodded immediately.
\n
“These walls seem to be quite thick. On the other side, the tip of my hand is still within the wall so there's a good chance I won't be able to hear you once I'm inside. Then I'll be going, please.”
\n
When I said this, I was told to wait a moment and a small crystal was placed in my hand.
\n
“Hold this. These crystals come in pairs, so that even if they are about 10 km apart, they can tell each other's location. Anne is holding the other one now but I will give it to Mr. Zeke or Ike. Can you tell how the other crystal will react right now?”
\n
I could feel the sensation of another crystal moving away from the crystal.
\n
"Yes. Somehow, there is a sensation that it is moving away from here. I am sure that Anne is on her way to father. Thank you very much. I am gradually losing feeling in my right hand and right arm, although I’m afraid, I’ll be going to the other side. Take care."
\n
I said that and then walked toward the other side of the wall.
The wall was about 10 meters thick. I could breathe inside the wall but it was uncomfortable.
The visibility should have been dark and poor but somehow I could see.
The fact that it was about 10 meters thick meant that there was light about 10 meters in front of me. I think it is probably a crack in the wall.
I walked around while wondering if this is what it is like inside the magic barrier.
While walking, I used the Wind Cloak (Sylphid), at first it was not stable but soon I adapted and was able to wrap it properly.
