Chapter 21-Encountering Bandits (part 1)

Since Qin Hao sat on the back seat, An Ru refused to sit at the front. She sat at the back with Qin Hao. Liao Fei had no choice but to sit at the front.

“Director An, where are we going? Go back to the company?” Liao Fei turned around to speak to An Ru, but his gaze landed on Qin Hao, who was sitting beside her.

“No, back to the villa.” An Ru replied.

Liao Fei was stunned for a moment. He felt even more annoyed and jealous when he looked at Qin Hao. He knew what it meant for Qin Hao to go to An Ru’s villa. However, this was an order from An Ru, he had no choice but to follow. He instructed the driver to go in the direction to the villa.

To go with the short cut, they had to pass through a long and narrow street. Usually, this street was busy with many people coming and going, but today it was a bit strange that no one was here when the car drove in.

“What’s going on today? There’s not a single person here.” Liao Fei looked outside curiously and mumbled to himself, but he did not pay much attention to it. The car continued moving forward and just as it was about to leave the street, a truck drove in front of them and stopped at the exit.

The street was not wide, when the truck stopped, it blocked off the entrance.
