Rui Ensi thought about it and answered, "No."
Su Ce lowered his head in disappointment. He thought that because the female often went around other tribes so it was possible to see his Senior… His Senior didn't come to this world? It would be better if he didn't, but一
The two soaked in the same hot spring. Did his Senior really escape this fate? Even though he himself is in good luck.
Since Rui Ensi didn't, Su Ce thanked him in a low voice and once again asked, "If you can, can you keep an eye on it for me?"
Rui Ensi nodded then asked, "He's your…."
Su Ce paused for a moment, then replied, "...he's my brother."
Tan Tu's ears brushed up.
Ah Ce has a brother? How come he never heard of it…
Rui Ensi and Su Ce had finished talking there. After promising to pay attention to this matter, Rui Ensi left along with Mo La, twins, and the others.
Su Ce looked back and found a shadow under his feet—Tan Tu actually squatted on the ground.
He stepped out of the disappointment that he had not heard from his Senior. He reached out and rubbed Tan Tu's bright golden hair. "What's the matter?"
Tan Tu hesitated and raised his head. "That, Ah Ce…"
Su Ce rarely saw him so sloppy. He touched his head again and replied, "Huh?"
Tan Tu said, "Your brother…"
Su Ce reacted.
Just now he mentioned his Senior to Rui Ensi like that, Tan Tu will certainly have some doubts.
Speaking of it, he always wanted to ask Tan Tu for help but after a long time of staying in the tribe, he found how difficult it was… In such a big world, he didn't know if his Senior had really come… Moreover, even if he wanted Tan Tu to find out, if Su Ce himself doesn't follow him, it won't work. His Senior's appearance… except for his black hair and eyes, he didn't know what other characteristics he had, and only his own recognition can best described.
But if a female wants to go outside the tribe… there was no good reason to explain.
At first, he thought of that too simply. So now he had to ask Rui Ensi to pay attention to this matter… and when other males leave the tribe they can also do the same.
This is the only way to do it.
But for now, let's talk to Tan Tu first.
Looking at Tan Tu who seemed worried… Su Ce thought a lot but only a short moment passed. He reached out, pulled Tan Tu, and calmly said, "Well, it's my brother." He paused. "My brother… I lost him when I met you outside."
As a Senior, if he has no relatives in the modern era, he should be regarded as his elder brother… He also took care of him in many ways from the beginning of their acquaintance until he graduated and worked.
Even if Senior has only a little chance that he came to this world, he must prepare if worst comes to worst.
If he really came here…
Then he must not be left alone.
Tan Tu understood as he lowered his head. "I'm sorry, Ah Ce, I should have helped you, yet you find someone else to help…"
Su Ce paused and shook his head. "It's not your fault, Tan Tu. I'm sorry, I should have told you earlier."
Tan Tu went over and took Su Ce into his arms. "When I go hunting, I will try to go farther away and turn in every direction to find him."
Su Ce raised his head and smiled. "Okay."
Tan Tu's injuries looked terrible, with thin scratches all over the body and dried up fresh blood that adhered to the skin surface as if he had been seriously injured.
Instead of continuing the previous topic, Su Ce just took Tan Tu's hand and sat him down on the wooden stool. He went inside the house and poured out a pot of water.
The longer he stayed here, the more weight he seemed to be able to bear, and the more housework he worked, the slower he seemed to progress.
Su Ce brought out the hot water. Although he can't make a thermos yet, he can still hold it in a plugged wooden bottle.
Then there was the constant boiling of water… The wood resources are very rich here, and sometimes the often-used bone oil needed was enough. So this level of waste can be allowed. After all, in these days of poor sanitation, frequent use of hot water to disinfect was necessary.
The cloth cut from the animal skin was not soft enough so Su Ce has changed it to some cloth in the morning market to use as a towel.
Tan Tu looked at Su Ce's bland expression and suddenly felt afraid to speak out loud. In fact, he never had spoken loudly before his Ah Ce. He just felt that the atmosphere was a bit serious.
Su Ce wasn't aware of Tan Tu's thoughts. He was busy wiping out the stains of the wound. Although the wounds were just small, they have to be dealt with quickly… Otherwise, even if orc males are thick-skinned and rough, they may still be infected or inflamed.
He thought like this, his wiping movements became more gentle.
Tan Tu sat quietly, watching the blood stains become clean bit by bit, all his perception stopped. His whole attention was more focused only on Su Ce's hands. Su Ce asked him to raise his hands and legs, and he followed obediently.
Unconsciously, Su Ce had all wiped it clean, leaving behind some light red small cuts. Some exaggerated ones turned out bright red meat after peeling off the skin which looked quite frightening. Su Ce sighed and leaned over to blow it.
It really….hurts.
After thinking about it, Su Ce stood up and said, "Tan Tu, don't move. I'll go to Ka Mai and get you some medicine."
Because Tan Tu has never suffered any injuries before, and the last time Su Ce fainted due to this world transformation that he brought some herbs back from Ka Mai, then now there was no storage of medicine at home… This was said to be a big mistake.
So, after this trip, he would get some more back.
Tan Tu watched Su Ce step out of the yard and walked towards Ka Mai's house. He wanted to call him but stopped.
He actually still has something to discuss with Ah Ce… However, he'll just wait until Ah Ce returns.
Tan Tu smiled and grabbed his hair. He really liked how Su Ce was worried about him.
Su Ce went straight to Ka Mai's house. He didn't know the way very well so he asked all the way through.
Ka Mai doesn't go out much. He heard that he didn't even take part in the Fire Dance Festival before. He usually prepared herbs in the house. Unexpectedly, he randomly came to the festival dinner party and won the heart of Mr. Rui Ensi. Su Ce thought, maybe this was really a kind of fate?
Ah, here he was.
He walked over and knocked at the door.
Ka Mai soon came and opened. "Ah Ce?" Ka Mai smiled and widely opened the door for him. "Are you feeling unwell?"
He didn't blame him for asking. If the males suffer some minor wounds, they usually become beasts and just lick it themselves. Without much fuss, they will come to the witch doctor for treatment.
However, females and cubs are quite different. They are very vulnerable. Witch doctors must prepare herbs that are convenient for them to use.
Su Ce shook his head and walked into the room. "I'll get some herbs for Tan Tu."
Ka Mai was taken aback. "Tan Tu was fine yesterday though? He was injured while hunting today?"
Su Ce shook his head again. "...Rui Ensi was here today."
With that said, Ka Mai embarrassingly lowered his head.
Su Ce paused.
The atmosphere fell into silence.
After a moment's hesitation, Su Ce still expressed his concern. After all, he had a good impression of Ka Mai, so he said, "Ka Mai, about Rui Ensi…"
Ka Mai smiled gently. "...I haven't thought it through yet."
Su Ce nodded. "...make a careful decision."
Ka Mai gently agreed, "I will. Thank you."
Neither of them was good at finding topics, so they fell into silence again.
Then, Su Ce remembered the main important thing why he was here. "Tan Tu has been injured with many scratches on his body. I need some medicine to treat them… Do you perhaps have it now?"
Ka Mai nodded and walked to a wooden cabinet that was contained with various animal-skin pockets, wooden tubes, clay pots, small pipes, and etc. He used to remove a wooden tube-about the length of his forearm-and a full thick bowl. It took some work to get it done for Ka Mai.
Because of the erosion of herbs, witch doctors often have less strength than that of ordinary females.
Ka Mai took another clean wooden tube much shorter than the first one, and was ready to scoop up some but Su Ce interrupted, "...give it to me."
"Ah?" Ka Mai was surprised. With so much weight, that's enough for ten people to use…
"I want to store more at home." Su Ce said.
Ka Mai expressed his understanding and handed over the wooden tubes.
Su Ce asked how many bones needed to be exchanged and said, "I'll let Tan Tu send the bones tomorrow."
Ka Mai smiled and nodded.
Because animal bones are so heavy, if females need medicine, they would visit the doctor to get the medicine first then return back home to order the males to come over. Considering that he couldn't carry the bones, Su Ce did as the Romans did.
When things were done, just as Su Ce stood up to leave, someone knocked on the door.
As he listened to the voice…
It was Rui Ensi.
He(RE) obviously left first, but did not expect to arrive here later. Is it because he went in the middle of somewhere… probably.
When Ka Mai heard Rui Ensi's voice, Su Ce saw his reddish face.
He apparently looked...indifferent?
