Hey guys,
mranon here.\n
Hereâs your third and final Slave Harem chapter for the week. (Yes, itâs still the same week)\n
Thereâs an announcement below. Do check it out.\n
See yâall next (this) week.\n
Enjoy the read.
Yours truly,\n\n<hr>
Shrub
Iâm being forced to join the Duke of Harzâs suspicious association. Damn!\n
Thereâs an entry test prior to joining, though, so it has yet to be confirmed.\n
However, because it was introduced by the Duke, I donât think itâs an evil organization.\n
I donât think heâs palming a pot off to me.
âSherry, do you know about the Empire Liberation Society?â
Having returned home after the dinner, I ask Sherry.
âI have only heard the name. Itâs an organization which only the most influential amongst those who fight in the labyrinths can join. Itâs more of a secret society, so thereâs no information regarding its members. Itâs to keep the members from being targeted.â
Huh?\n
Which reminds me, the Duke said something regarding confidentiality of the members.\n
It means I canât leak that the Duke is a member.
Because the Duke is recommending me, he must be a member, surely.\n
The Duke didnât declare, however, that heâs a member.\n
Do I have to observe the duty of confidentiality? Iâm not a member, after all.
But I will become a member, so I decide to remain silent.\n
Must I not even tell Roxanne and the girls?\n
Itâs not confirmed yet.
I want to discuss it with Sherry but I canât.\n
Itâs troublesome.\n
Isnât it a pro technique to keep the victim from calling others for help?
Thereâs an entry test, too. I wonder how itâll go.\n
Will I be taking it by myself?\n
The difficulty level will be considerably higher compared to doing it with the party, so I donât think itâll be the case.
Or will I perhaps form party with the examiner?\n
When the time comes, Iâll just perform terribly and fail the test.\n
However, that the Duke recommended me, wonât it be bad?
âI-Is that so? Oh well, itâs quite late already. Letâs just wipe our bodies and go to sleep.â
Because it was unwise to discuss it, I change the topic.\n
There shouldnât have been a problem in being a bit open about it, though.\n
And Sherry is under the effect of alcohol, too.
Because the bath isnât heated, itâll be terrible to enter, so I decide to end the day without taking bath.\n
I produce some hot water.\n
And wipe the bodies of everyone.
Itâs my duty to wipe their bodies, of course.\n
Itâs my duty to wipe their bodies when we take bath.\n
I wonât abandon my duties no matter what.\n
After lathering the soap, I get down to it in order, starting with Roxanne
âIt was so tiring today. How was your duel? Did it go well?â\n
âYes. It wasnât to the extent to be called duel. They were just assessing my strength, so they didnât go all out.â
Are you sure?\n
I do believe Roxanneâs words, of course.\n
Her glossy skin and her supple chest are as splendid as ever. I never get tired of her.
âHow was the food?â\n
âEven though the Dukeâs wife is the same sex as me, I couldnât help but be in awe at her beauty. The way she used knife was so refined that I could only sigh.â\n
âReally?â\n
âFurthermore, she enters the labyrinth and fights without flinching. Itâs so inspirational.â
So even Roxanne finds Cassia beautiful, huh?\n
And this fellow seems to have drunk some strong liquor.
âAlthough it was not a strong liquor, its mild taste was somehow delicious.â
Thatâs Sherryâs impression.\n
Because I canât smell liquor, she doesnât seem to have consumed a large quantity.\n
Even so, her complexion has turned slightly pink which looks seductive.\n
Consequently, I end up fondling hers more than usual.
âAs expected of nobles. They drink some fine liquor.â\n
âIt was terrible. Even the knight leader-sama was troubled.â
Which reminds me, Gozer was sitting in front of Sherry.\n
They might have shared various stories with each other.\n
I donât think he was particularly troubled.
âFish, tasty, desu.â
But Iâm sure Sherry was troubled, taking care of this person who has a craze for fish.\n
I wipe the body of Miria who was bursting with energy just like a fish.\n
When I wipe her body, she quietens.\n
Itâs all peaceful again.
âHow was your day, Vesta?â\n
âAlthough I was a little tensed, it was great. I got to visit a beautiful, white town and I also received a gift from Master, so Iâm extremely happy.â\n
âIf you enjoyed it, Iâm glad.â\n
âYes. When I put on that lovely, amber necklace, it felt like I was someone entirely else.â
Nah, I can never mistake Vestaâs chest for someone elseâs.\n
I take my time wiping her meat buns which were not fitting in my palms.
The next morning. We grab the map and enter Quratarâs labyinth.\n
We safely clear 23rd floor.\n
Because I have been Abnormal Status Resistance Down in the boss battles, Miria is on a petrifaction spree.\n
This time around, too, it was all thanks to her.
The monster native to Quratarâs 24th floor is Tur Turtle.\n
Itâs weak against Earth magic. Bad timing.\n
The monster of 23rd floor, Gummi Slime, is weak against Fire, Water and Wind magic. Itâs weak against every magic but Earth.\n
Thatâs what you call âmade for each otherâ.
The labyrinth will obviously match the monsters with differing weaknesses up.\n
Because the combination of monsters was not favorable, we cut our time on Quratarâs 24th floor short.\n
Thereafter, until the evening, we explore Harubaâs 24th floor.
âMaster, thereâs a message from Mr. Luke. Apparently, he has successfully bid on a Mermaid Monster Card.â
When we return home, Roxanne informs.\n
There seems to be a message from Luke.
He successfully bid on a Mermaid Monster Card once before.\n
That time, I made Water Resistant Leather Mittens.\n
Is it not popular?\n
Thatâs probably it.
âSherry, Mermaid is water-type, right?â\n
âThatâs right.â\n
âIs it okay if I go get it tomorrow?â
I want to take bath today since we didnât yesterday.\n
Itâs not because the time has run out. Iâll go to the Merchantâs Guild tomorrow and get it.
âWhen you go tomorrow, I think you should place an order for Shrub Monster Card.â\n
âShrub?â\n
âYes. Upon fusion with a weapon, Shrub Monster Card bestows Paralysis skill. I donât know, though, whether Paralysis skill can stack with Petrifaction skill or not. However, those of dual-sword style use both in the battles. As an Assassin, Miria already has a weapon with Petrifaction skill. If Paralysis skill were attached, too, Iâm sure it would be more useful.â
Sherry suggests.\n
Paralysis skill can be added to Miriaâs Estoc, indeed\n
The probability of inflicting abnormal status will be twice, hopefully.
âGot it. Thanks. Iâll tell him.â
Apparently, sheâs no longer concerned about fusing a monster card with Estoc of Petrifaction.\n
Iâm glad.
The next morning. After having breakfast, I head to the Merchantâs Guild.\n
I call for Luke to buy the Mermaid Monster Card.
âHereâs the Mermaid Monster Card.â
Again, Luke passes me a genuine card.\n
He doesnât seem to be scamming me. For now, at least.
âIndeed. Also, I want to use it with Kobold Monster Card. Because I have run out of spares, Iâll have to ask of you to bid on one.â\n
âVery well. As for its price, it hasnât changed much.â\n
âAlright then, you can bid up to 5,000.â\n
âIâll comply.â
That I have specified 5,000, Iâm pretty sure Luke wonât knock it down below 5,000. Oh well, it canât be helped.\n
I want to obtain it ASAP.
âAlso, try to bid on Shrub Monster Card. Even if itâs slightly high, I donât mind. Can you, please?â\n
âShrub? Very well.â
I place an order for Shrub Monster Card.\n
Because Miria now plays an important part in the boss battles, the stronger she gets, the better for us.\n
Also, the earlier, the better.
After all, the Empire Liberation Societyâs entry test comprises the boss battle.\n
And most likely, I will have do it without magic.\n
If it will be invigilated, I wonât be able to use magic.\n
I will have to do something by then.
If it will be invigilated, Petrifaction and Paralysis skills will get exposed.\n
But thereâs no helping it.\n
I wonât be able to partake in the boss battle without using both the magic and the Durandal, so Iâll have to expose Durandal at any rate.
They wonât be able to help but have their eyes on such a holy sword as Durandal.\n
However, Durandal is not the only weapon with multiple skills, so it may elude the examiner.\n
Itâs absurd to have an Estoc fused with two monster cards but itâs not impossible.\n
Compared to exposing Durandal, exposing an Estoc with two skills is not that big a deal.
Moreover, there are Sacred Spear and Sherryâs spear with Incantation Interruption skill.\n
Thanks to such good equipment, our party is able to fight well.
However, Sacred Spear is a weapon used by Monks, Priests and Shrine Maidens.\n
It would be weird if I were to use it.\n
Should I give it to Roxanne or should I give it to Sherry?\n
To be invigilated is so troublesome.
âWhich reminds me, the fusion of Caterpillar Monster Card succeeded last time. Therefore, henceforth, bid on Caterpillar Monster Card only if itâs extraordinarily cheap.â\n
âCongratulations. Do you have no intention of selling the equipment fused with monster card?â\n
âItâll be possible if itâs a spare.â\n
âVery well.â
I stop him from bidding on Caterpillar Monster Card any further.\n
My greed tells me not to stop but itâll create confusion in the market, so no.
After receiving the Mermaid Monster Card, I return home.\n
I canât have it fused just yet.\n
I have only one Kobold Monster Card left, so thereâs no need to rush.
The evening two days later. It turns out that my decision was right.\n
When we return home, there was a message from Luke.
âMaster, thereâs a message from Mr. Luke. Apparently, he has successfully bid on a Shrub Monster Card. As for the price, itâs 6,900 Nars.â
Roxanne reads the message.\n
He was prompt to successfully bid on Shrub Monster Card.\n
I plan on using Kobold Monster Card together with Shrub Monster Card.\n
Leaving it aside the other day was the right decision.
âThe price is only slightly high, huh?â
Itâs not as expensive as it was quick.\n
It may be a bit expensive but itâs within limit.\n
However, that it was kept within 6000âs somehow suggests artificiality.\n
Just like Rokkyuppa âsuper valueâ. (TN: ăăăă„ăă. I have no idea what this is. Must be SALE price)
âUnlike Petrifaction, Paralysis fades over time. Therefore, it seems to proc easily. Because the weapon attached with this skill is easier to use, itâs more popular. Thatâs probably why itâs more expensive.â
Sherry explains.
âIt procâs easily?â\n
âThe probability will be low in the boss battles, though.â
So itâs no good then?\n
I want it to help with the boss battles, after all.
âThatâll depend on Miria. Iâll be relying on you, Miria.â\n
âOkay, desu.â
We will also have Abnormal Status Resistance Down to our rescue in the boss battles.\n
We will manage it, somehow.
The next morning. I go to receive the Shrub Monster Card.\n
When I call for Luke, he brings a Kobold Monster Card along with the Shrub Monster Card.\n
I select 30% Discount in a flurry.
âFortunately, I was able to successfully bid on a Kobold Monster Card. Itâs 5,000 Nars.â
So itâs exact 5,000 Nars, after all.
âBecause Iâll be using this Kobold Monster Card, Iâll have to ask of you for one more at 5,000 Nars.â\n
âVery well.â\n
âThe Shrub Monster Card was a bit expensive this time. Next time, bid on it when the price is considerably low.â
I twist the fact that the Shrub Monster Card was expensive in order to stop him from bidding on it any further.\n
I canât just tell him that Sherry has 100% success rate in respect of Monster Card Fusion.\n
I pay him 1 gold coin and 26 silver coins, and leave the Merchantâs Guild.\n
30% Discount was effective on the commission for two, hence the total amount.
After I return home, I call Miria and Sherry.\n
I take out both the monster cards.
âMiria, can you lend me your Estoc of Petrifaction?â\n
âYes, desu.â\n
âGive it to Sherry. Sherry, fuse these cards with the Estoc.â\n
âO-Okay.â
Sherry replies somewhat nervously.\n
Even though she was the one to suggest it.
Miria obediently hands the Estoc of Petrifaction to Sherry.\n
She doesnât seem to care that it may break.\n
Sheâs perhaps not aware of such a possibility.
Sherryâs breathing heavily.\n
Holding the Estoc and the monster cards, she invokes the skill.\n
Master of Monster â needs a dedicated translator. We have one on hiatus, and someone else going to try, no progress on that yet (multiple translators is fine if this one works out).\n
Elf Tensei â needs a dedicated translator. We have someone going to try, no progress on that yet (multiple translators is fine if this one works out).\n
These two projects have long chapters, Iâd like people that can do a chapter in two weeks or better.
Din no Monshou â needs a dedicated translator. A MT has been trying, but itâs not going well. Another MT plans to try, no progress on that yet. Also⊠if anyone wants to help out without becoming committed to the group, this google doc has edit permissions:\n
Linking that might be a train wreckâŠ. might have 100 of you trying to edit the same line, but lets see what happens. If you can TL, help fix it. If you want to try MTâing, have a go at it (I donât think Din is easy). If you want to edit, Iâd suggest at least getting some MT gear set up so you can check anything that sounds off before you fix it. đ\n
Din chapters are about the same length as SH, so a TL that can do one a week would be good.
TSO â needs a dedicated translator. Short chapters, with not many left til the end. Needs someone that can do 1+ per week.
Iâd also still like to get When I Returned Home, what I found was Fantasy!? moving on RTD again. Needs a translator.
When translating, please make sure that you translate every part of the line. Donât skip the parts of the line that youâre unsure about. If you have no idea about the part/line at all, highlight/mention it. Contact me on skype: cyrojen and Iâll hook you up with a chapter to try out. If youâre a MT, jump forward a few chapters & translate 100 lines as a trial. If you think you can handle it after doing that, contact me and send me your trial. Leave the Japanese in your file, write your english under each line/paragraph.
