[Tsk, this demon king is really!!! I didnāt expect thereās such a troublesome floor boss inside the First Dungeon!]\n

[A floor boss of this caliber canāt be found in the Second Dungeon and wasnāt in the hidden fourth dungeon we discovered. Then thereās no other place that could be used to hide this floor boss other than the First Dungeon. This demon king really uses its head.]\n

ā¦I see. We went to the third dungeon thatās famous for having powerful monsters inside of them and ignored the first dungeon where slimes are known to commonly appear. However, the first dungeon, even though slimes were there, nobody said the floor boss on itās bottom floor is the same.\n
In fact, there are a lot of stories around saying the first dungeon appears to be easy but no one as of this day is said to be able to capture it.\n

[ā¦These monsters are called <Man Eating Dragonflies>. The monster by itself is not strong per se, and it isnāt that dangerous as long as it has low numbers. It uses its tail like a bee, but itās tails are closer to a claw than a needle. Ofcourse, itās mouth is another thing that can put you in danger.]\n

Oh, looking at it closely, the monstersā tails are curled towards my direction as they approach and surround me. I fire a dark splash to a monster thatās about to get close to me and observe it straighten itās tails to avoid my magic and fly up again into the air.\n

Up, down, left, right, this monsterās movements are so free and unrestrictive. Are dragonflies this difficult of a bug to catch?\n
At this point, I canāt really look at them any differently than flies that are much more difficult to get in hand. Just how am I supposed to predict the movements of these bugsā¦!?\n

[<Dark Splash>! I donāt think weāll be able to defeat these monsters like this!]\n
[Itās just because theyāre outside the dungeon. I donāt think I have to say this but there are no mages that can just allow lightning to fall from the clouds or summon down storms. If theyāre adventurers inside the dungeon who use those kinds of magic against monsters, what are the roofs of the dungeon for.]\n

[I see. It was because these monsters canāt freely move around the same height so theyāre not that difficult to deal with inside!]\n
[Thatās it! If floor bosses are allowed to roam freely, thenā¦ Tsk, <Flame Wave>!]\n

Sybilla uses her own magic as well but itās something thatās more appropriate inside dungeons. The wave spreads horizontally but it canāt reach our enemies who are way up high and dodges vertically.Ā \n
But before I notice, by the time Sybillaās magic was released, thereās already a monster thatās too close to me.\n

However, it also means that the monster isnāt able to dodge on time against my magic. I was able to get itās tail and some sort of green liquid bleed from it.\n
ā¦Still, it was not enough to thoroughly kill it.\n

Dark Splash is a magic that effectively deals with elusive enemies inside a confined space just like the dungeon.\n
Against enemies who can move into the sky freely, no matter where I shoot it or how wide I spread the range of my magic, it will never be enough to control the monstersā movement and deal damage to it.\n

All this time when Iām talking with Sybilla, Emmyās just beside me holding her shield.\n

[ā¦I think Iām finally used to this shieldās weight. Weāve got nothing to hide anymore so letās see this shieldās full abilities!]\n

I think Emmy was surprised by what I just said but she still moves her gaze towards the demon king and holds her shield firm.\n
And at that momentā¦ The black haze surrounding the demon king vanishes and now his true colors come into the surface.\n

āAnd what has appeared, is really too eccentric.\n

His face. Thereās three of them with one on the front and one on each side.\n
Then his armsā¦ he has three pairs of it or in short, he has four more limbs than a normal human.\n
The Demon Kingās real appearance is so outside of my common sense that it seemed that everything he just plotted against me felt so trivial instead.\n

Sybilla, as if sheād already predicted it, just looks at the demon kingās figure like it was just a bother.\n

I keep on unleashing my magic on the floor boss for it to maintain its distance and ask Sybilla whatās up with the demon kingās appearance.\n

Itās appearance certainly is ideal in fights and battles.\n

Oooh, I remember Sybilla as well saying something about the demon king about one of his mouths though.Ā \n
Now that we know what the demon lordās true form is, we can now devise a strategy to exploit its weaknesses and abilities. Man, sheās really become so reliable, trulyā¦\n

The three spears made of ice which boasted high speed are making their way to us and so I see Emmy blocks one with her shield and cuts off another with her blade.\n

I am getting kinda worried knowing that Emmy is confronting the demon king at this moment but I canāt extend my hand to her as I am also struggling against these floor bosses.\n
