There was something unusual today compared to others.
I noticed Saeki flying into my room like she kicked the door open while I was half asleep.
“Yumizuki, wake up, wake up!”
She shook me violently.
“…What, why so noisy.”
“We’re late!”
“…”
I calmly pushed Saeki away and pushed myself up, and took the alarm clock on top of the bed.
“…Ah…”
It was actually later than usual.
“What do you mean ‘ah ah’? You are being too lenient.”
“There’s no use panicking. I’ll pick up the pace.”
I pulled the blanket aside and stepped out of the bed.
“Even if it’s simpler than usual, I’ll still make some breakfast.”
Saeki skipped out of the room, but she stopped at the door, and turned around to face me.
“I’m sorry, Yumizuki.”
“For what?”
“Ah, well, I overslept.”
Oh, that.
“That’s my fault as well. It’s not all Saeki’s fault.”
I slept late last night as well, and because I was always woken up by Saeki, I was a bit careless. It seemed I had been too used to this leisure lifestyle.
“I’ll be more careful of mornings from now on. I’ll come right after changing.”
“Ah, erm. Understood.”
Saeki seemed to have calmed down, and left the room.
I quickly changed, then came to the living room. Saeki must still be cooking in the kitchen, so I went to the bathroom first.
I felt a bit nauseous, having to run around right after waking up. I used some cold water to cool off my head.
And returned to the living room.
“Sorry Yomizuki~~, we don’t have that much for breakfast today.”
There’s the breadloaf we bought yesterday on the table, along with potato soup and ham salad. The potato wasn’t just boiled, but also stir fried.
“That’s more than enough. Let’s eat.”
“Ah, I was in such a hurry I forgot to open the window.”
Right before we dug in, Saeki went to the living room windows.
That’s why the air in the living room aws so fluffy. It seemed she only opened the curtains, but forgot to open the windows. However, I didn’t think it was necessary when we were in a hurry.
Saeki opened the windows.
An early breeze flowed into the room.
“Kya!”
The wind blew Saeki’s short skirt up. She quickly pushed it down, an impressively quick reaction.
She turned around like a broken doll.
Our eyes met.
“… You saw it?”
“…”
“…”
I debated on the most proper answer.
“Sorry, I only saw a glimpse…”
Just think about it, if I didn’t immediately lie when I got asked , then the only choice left was to be honest and apologize.
Ah, Saeki also hadn’t worn the usual black tights.
“…”
“…”
Saeki plopped down the floor. It seemed she was in shock.
“If only I wore something more mature today…”
“…”
…so you were concerned about that?
Truthfully speaking, her depressed sitting position, exposing her thigh, was already alluring enough.
Suddenly, she raised her head.
“Should I change into my favourite one and show it to you again?”
“Dream on.”
I immediately declined.
“Moreover, time waits for no one.”
“Ah, that’s right!”
Saeki immediately recovered and sprung up. She hastily ran into the dining room and sat down at the table.
Our breakfast was quicker than normal.
Because we were in a hurry, there was no time for talks.
“Aaaaaaaa….”
As if remembering something, Saeki exclaimed.
“What about bento?”
“There’s no time left for it.”
I looked at the clock hanging on the wall. If we immediately left after finishing, we wouldn’t be late even if we didn’t run. But I needed to leave after her, so I would probably have to run for a bit.
Obviously, we didn’t have time for bento.
“Let’s have lunch at the canteen today. It’s fine if it’s something occasional.”
“A canteen meal huh~~ Even though I come to eat my bento there often, I have never bought anything there~~”
Saeki thought while wrapping the potato soup up.
“Canteen meal huh ~~”
She repeated with a hopeful voice.
