The two tentacles dexterously snaked their way up Shan Ziwei’s neck, one of them hooking around the back of his neck, its tip rubbing against his Adam’s apple with delight, while the other attempted to wriggle its way into his shirt from his collar. Goosebumps rose all over Shan Ziwei’s body. He reflexively tried to tug the small tentacle out of his collar.
“Hisss…”
Shan Ziwei stared blankly at the small tentacle in his hand. He hadn’t thought it would be so easy to pull the small tentacle off.
The small tentacle that Shan Ziwei had caught wriggled its tip and took back the advantage by wrapping around Shan Ziwei’s right hand. It looped itself around Shan Ziwei’s hand multiple times, covering his hand entirely as it brushed ever so gently against the inside of Shan Ziwei’s wrist: once, twice…
With this pincer attack, the hypersexual’s breathing soon sped up. Sweat ran down from his temples, soaking his hair. Shan Ziwei was anxious, anxious and panicked – he had no idea what the monster was trying to do!
Before, Shan Ziwei had some idea of the monster’s intentions behind its actions and could counter its attacks accordingly, but now he had no idea what the monster aimed to do, and thus didn’t know how to deal with it.
Shan Ziwei spotted his depleting Hearts SP (Joy) out of the corner of his eye, his heart sinking. It couldn’t be that the monster thought that this was his weak spot and was trying to use it against him?
Well, it really was his “weak spot”, a “weak spot” that could kill this hypersexual. Poor Shan Ziwei had never faced such danger in the entirety of his twenty-three years, ah, no, that should be two-hundred and thirty-three years. He’d rather the monster just use its tentacles to break his neck instead of slowly killing him like a frog in hot water.
Thus, Shan Ziwei began to struggle with all his might. Unfortunately, a certain hypersexual was currently in a most helpless situation. Even if he screamed himself hoarse, he wouldn’t be able to save himself. Unable to move and with both hands trapped, the only thing he could do was shrug his shoulders up and turn his head in an attempt to rub the tentacle off of his neck.
“Drip.”
A drop of sweat splashed onto the tip of the small tentacle, like rainwater bouncing on a palm leaf and sliding down. The monster paused, its tentacle making a turn to chase the trail the bead of sweat made. It brushed against the side of Shan Ziwei’s neck that was covered in a thin, transparent sheen of sweat, the soft skin there flushed from excitement.
Wet and slimy, just like it was.
Soon enough, Shan Ziwei noticed a terrifying change in the monster’s tentacle. The small tentacle that was tightly entangled with his right hand had begun to secrete some sort of red liquid. At first he had thought he had started bleeding from the tentacle squeezing his hand too hard, but Shan Ziwei quickly realized that the red liquid wasn’t blood, but juices purposefully secreted by the monster, like rich red wine, exuding a heavy, sticky sweet smell.
The red liquid dripped down from their entangled limbs, running down Shan Ziwei’s arm to the hem of his sleeves at his elbow. Shan Ziwei could feel the slimy feeling against his neck. Even if he couldn’t see it, he could easily imagine the monster smearing the juices it secreted all over his neck. Shan Ziwei didn’t feel any burning pain, so that meant these juices weren’t some sort of acid and didn’t have any corrosive properties. It wasn’t exceedingly sticky like the juices it had secreted before either, instead being very slimy, very thick, like viscous juice that would dribble out of an overripe fruit at the slightest touch.
The soft tentacle covered in juices pressing against his skin, moving back and forth… it was clear from the white-haired young man’s rapidly dying Hearts SP how that felt.
“Uhm…”
Shan Ziwei blinked forcefully and some the focus returned to his eyes. He was beginning to lose control.
He wanted it… so bad…
A third of his Hearts SP was gone in the blink of an eye. Shan Ziwei’s brain felt like mush, but he vaguely recalled he had a way to recover Hearts SP. He opened his lips that had been tightly pressed together and let out a heated, sensual breath of noise before he could speak.
“Ahh hahh… I… love… you…”
Shan Ziwei only remembered that this was the way to save himself but neglected to consider that these words might also have an effect on the monster. The monster’s big, round eye was filled with Shan Ziwei’s reflection. It seemed to have received some great encouragement, rubbing its tentacles against Shan Ziwei’s skin even harder and greedily listening to the white-haired young man’s mumbled words and soft panting.
By the time Shan Ziwei realized this was a positive feedback cycle that only made things worse and worse, it was too late. He didn’t want to die from his hypersexuality, so he could only repeat over and over the words the monster wanted to hear as its tentacles toyed with him.
Like you, love you, I like, you.
The silver-haired black-robed doll had its head cocked to one side, carefully listening to Shan Ziwei’s whimpered confessions, slightly muffled by his soft pants. It had its eyes lidded softly, its mask emotionless, but filled with an almost worshipful focus.
“… Li-like… ah!”
Shan Ziwei’s chest heaved as he panted for breath, his body drenched as if he had been submerged in water. Transparent sweat mingled with the red juices, staining his skin. If he wasn’t in this game, Shan Ziwei would’ve started doing lewd things already. But since he was in-game, the pleasure in his body didn’t gather in one area, instead invading every inch of his body, making even his nails feel weak with desire. With this, never mind a hypersexual like Shan Ziwei, even a normal person would be shocked silly with pleasure.
Shan Ziwei’s panting-hindered confessions couldn’t keep up with the speed at which his Hearts SP was falling. Just as he was about to reach spiritual breakdown – in reality this hypersexual was already on the verge of a different kind of breakdown – he heard a muffled call of his name.
“——Shanzi——”
The monster stopped and Shan Ziwei didn’t even bother with taking the chance to recover his SP, yelling at the top of his voice, “I’m over here——!!!!”
The near blood-curling scream shocked the newcomer and soon enough, he heard rapid footsteps approaching his position before suddenly stopping. Sha Po Lang’s voice drifted into his ears from afar, but she sounded much closer than before.
“Shanzi——you’re under this pile of rocks? Did you cause the explosion just now…”
Upon hearing his companion’s voice, Shan Ziwei felt much more secure, and his mind even cleared up a bit. He quickly said a confession to recover some Hearts SP before replying to Sha Po Lang.
“Get me out of here, first, then I’ll – Ah!”
“Shanzi? Shanzi?” Sha Po Lang’s voice was filled with worry, “What’s wrong?”
“……….. The monster, it’s attacking me.”
Shan Ziwei had his head turned to one side, struggling, as he feigned a calm tone. Just now, the monster had taken advantage of his distraction to hook its tentacles around his neck and pull him down. It was so fast that Shan Ziwei only just managed to turn his face before he was slammed against the monster’s umbrella-shaped hood. This time, the monster refused to let go of Shan Ziwei, its two small tentacles entangled behind Shan Ziwei’s neck, like a child hugging its parents wanting to be picked up.
Though having his face pressed up tightly against the monster was a terrifying experience, at least the monster stopped toying with him, so the tidal wave of heat inside him soon waned.
“The monster is inside?”
Shan Ziwei’s eyes went wide with surprise, trying to see outside through the rock pile. This was a man’s voice. It wasn’t just Sha Po Lang out there. Shan Ziwei recalled the footsteps just now. His brain had been in such a mess back then that he hadn’t noticed that there had been more than one pair of footsteps approaching.
“Who is that?”
Shan Ziwei’s words were clearly directed at Sha Po Lang, and she gave him a quick reply, “They’re the support the bald guy told us about! They’re all high-level players –“
“Let’s talk about this later,” the man interrupted Sha Po Lang’s words before asking Shan Ziwei, “You’re buried in there with the monster?”
The man’s voice was loud and clear, with a hint of pride indicative of someone who was used to being in a position of power. Shan Ziwei was delighted at this. They were high-level players, and if this person was this fluent at giving commands, they were probably the captain of some team – he had been terrified of the idea that the system might give them a disorganized, makeshift team. It seemed like even the system knew that if it continued fucking them over there would be no point to playing the game anymore.
Shan Ziwei was very cooperative. “Yes. There’s a small gap in the rocks and I’ve been trapped in it along with the monster. I can’t really make any big movements.”
“Can you confirm your location?” The man asked. “That way it’ll be easier for us to get you out.”
Shan Ziwei was about to say he couldn’t, but then he remembered a piece of equipment that he could use to confirm his position. His left hand was under some rocks, but luckily, the multipurpose tracker on his wrist was still in the open. After the monster had gotten its tentacles around Shan Ziwei, it didn’t move again except to tighten its grip warningly when Shan Ziwei tried to struggle. Shan Ziwei could only awkwardly reach over to put a battery in his tracker and hit mode two. The radar display projected from the tracker showed seven heat sources. Five of the red dots were on the left, which should be representative of Sha Po Lang and the four new players. Two red dots were in the middle which was where Shan Ziwei and the monster were.
“Take a step forward so I can confirm your direction… okay, forwards right twenty-five degrees, four point seven meters away is where the gap is.”
“Great. Just hang in there, it’ll be over soon.” After these words, the man began to issue orders to the players around him. “Sky’s End, Mortal Realm, T-array stat!”
“Leave it to me, boss Spring ‘n Autumn.”
A young, masculine voice replied. The other person giggled in response, clearly a girl from her voice. Shan Ziwei’s mind crafted an image of the group outside as he listened to their movements. The man – called Spring and Autumn or something – was the captain of his team as expected and Sky’s End and Mortal Realm were his teammates. From their similar names, they probably belonged to the same group.
Shan Ziwei didn’t have time to ponder it further before he heard Sha Po Lang suddenly yell, “Hey, what’re you doing!?”
“Blasting apart the rocks to save your friend.”
“You’re putting T.N.T. there! Saving my friend? More like turning him into ash!”
Mortal Realm raised her shapely eyebrows, holding flint in her hands. She looked at Sha Po Lang who stood in her way impatiently. “You want to clear the stage or not?”
“Of course I do!” Sha Po Lang replied without hesitation, “And so does my friend!”
Mortal Realm had wanted to say, “then move out of the way” but now the words died in her throat and she began to argue with Sha Po Lang.
“I read the documents on the car. This monster was only pawn-level at the start, and you people managed to rear it into bishop! You think it’s easy to fight a bishop-level pawn? Sacrificing one player to defeat it is already the best-case scenario!”
It really was going to be “over” for him soon… Shan Ziwei listened to the argument happening, quietly dissing what Spring and Autumn had said. Though their method really was harsh, it was also effective. Shan Ziwei hesitated for a while, feeling rather depressed, but in the end, still decided to call out and convince Sha Po Lang to go with their plan. Shan Ziwei wasn’t some kind of holy mother. He simply decided that between him dying and getting into a fight with these people causing Sha Po Lang, who had been good to him, to die with him, the former was better.
After all, the earlier you died, the earlier you could go into the afterlife, Shan Ziwei told himself in a glass half full way. After this chessboard, he’d still have time to start a new chessboard.
“Sha…”
“Boom!!!”
The entire rock pile erupted. As the room swayed precariously, on the verge of collapse, Mortal Realm stood there dumbly with her flint. “I haven’t even…”
“Hurry and run!”
Spring and Autumn’s yell shocked the other dumbstruck players out of their stupor. Everyone ran for it, heading outside. Amongst them, the fastest Sky’s End even snuck glances behind him as he ran.
“Oh my holy fucking god!”
A red tentacle filled his entire visual field, charging at them like a massive train and wrecking all the walls and floors it passed. Sky’s End felt like his soul had left his body from terror, dashing straight to the window and jumping out – the stairs had already collapsed from the massive tentacle – and the others quickly followed suit.
With a tremendous rumble, the window was completely destroyed by the tentacle. If the slowest Sha Po Lang had been just a second slower, she would’ve been smacked against the window like a fly hit by a fly swatter.
Sha Po Lang landed on the grass below, rolling to cushion her fall, and patted her chest in relief. Thankfully she had a pair of shoes that cut fall damage in half, otherwise, jumping from the fourth-floor window would have been enough to put her out of commission. The other four were higher levelled than Sha Po Lang, so they naturally had their own way of protecting themselves. Thus, the group of players squatted or stood on the grass of the hospital’s outdoors area, staring up in shock at the monster.
The fourth floor of the hospital had half collapsed. Amidst the dust that had scattered into the air, a red-tinged white coloured, heart organ shaped ball jutted out from the collapsed floor. Its two terrifying tentacles lay against the walls bonelessly, basking in the sunlight.
Sky’s End began to stutter, “R-r-r-r-rook-level….?”
Then something even more shocking happened.
“Wh-what’s that on top of its core?”
Shan Ziwei had almost been suffocated to death just now by the white umbrella-shaped head as it expanded before being bounced into the air and thrown back onto the massive ball of a monster, completely disoriented. He wanted to get up, but a shadow appeared, and something pressed down against Shan Ziwei’s back, causing him to fall back against the ball with a splat. This also just so happened to have him make eye contact with the people below.
Spring and Autumn and the others watching the white-haired young man get steamrolled by a tentacle: ….
Shan Ziwei being trapped on the happy monster’s head: ….
Please end this!
