When he came back, Chu Xiang had just finished making another phone call. Seeing him, Chu Xiang put down her phone and said, “We got our first shooting booked, so prepare to head out tomorrow.”
Fang Zhenxuan was stunned for a moment and he almost suspected that he was hallucinating, “What did you just say? Did I mishear you or did you actually say that I’m going to start filming tomorrow?”
Chu Xiang tilted her head with an amused expression on her face, “What’s this? Are you afraid?”

” Fang Zhenxuan scratched his head and pulled a chair to sit beside Chu Xiang’s bed before he looked at her and asked, “I just signed the contract today, but there’s already something I have to film tomorrow? What kind of movie is that? Are the requirements for it this low?”
Chu Xiang was rather amused by him as she lightly patted his face with her mobile phone and said with a smile, “He is very demanding. If you weren’t so handsome, you wouldn’t have been able to get a chance. The main thing that factored your opportunity was because of those photos that were secretly taken in the hospital. The Director thinks that your smile, your temperament, your figure and appearance are all in line with the character setting, so they got you signed up as a guest appearance. Your audition is tomorrow.”

“I don’t know, but I can guess,” Whilst they were speaking, Chu Xiang had already found the original novel of the Xianxia drama. She searched for the character that Fang Zhenxuan was going to audition for and quickly browsed through the information.
She had worked as an online writer before, so she grasped the main line, outline and the character analysis both quickly and accurately before speedily typing out the role’s details in a document. After that, she quickly listed two minor scripts and printed them out for Fang Zhenxuan.
“The audition would definitely consist of one scene from these two. Hence, you should practice hard. It is best for you to familiarize yourself with the personality of this character first in order for you to raise your confidence,” Chu Xiang patted his arm and smiled, “Don’t worry, think about it for a moment on your own. I’ll come and help you out after I deal with this mess.”
“You know how to act?” Fang Zhenxuan looked up at Chu Xiang in surprise.
Chu Xiang shrugged, “Very well, which should be more than enough to guide you, so
 don’t worry.”
“I’m not worried,” Fang Zhenxuan felt that he was truly at ease. He put Xinxin to sleep on the bed before heading to the living room to practice his expressions and movements repeatedly in front of the full-length mirror.
Chu Xiang made another round of phone calls. Since the demand was high, it would be a waste to not use this opportunity. If she didn’t start quickly, the heat of the issue was going to die down soon.
She was getting frequent calls from the company, so she was always on the line. Chen Lifeng’s contacts were blocked by her, but she also refused to answer calls that were from an unknown number. In the end, he couldn’t get in touch with her and had to send her text messages, bombarding her with them as he wanted nothing more than for her to cooperate with him.
Chu Xiang didn’t even look at them and deleted them all with one click until she learned that Chen Lifeng had some connections with a top variety show. This networking opportunity was set up for him by Zhou Yuan. It was an outdoor reality show with six resident MCs and the ratings of the show was far ahead of their competition every year. This year, because one of the male MCs was injured, he had to be replaced. It was still in the confidential stages considering that there was no formal announcement, but it seemed like Chen Lifeng’s role as the replacer was already set.
Chu Xiang checked the shooting time of ‘Extreme Mode’. Judging from the bits of information that she got from a few friends, the shoot should commence in about half a month, so the timing was just right. She immediately released Chen Lifeng from the blacklist and called him.
Chen Lifeng was texting Chu Xiang with his assistant’s mobile phone, clenching his teeth so angrily that the screen of the mobile phone was being aggressively tapped by his fingers. When his own phone rang, he didn’t even bother to look. In the end, it was his assistant who reminded him, “Brother Feng, it’s Sister Xiang who’s calling.”
