The car that Chu Xiang and Xiao Jin drove back had several large bags of food, survival supplies, and numerous weapons. Of course, it was impossible for all three of them to leave. Xiao Jin asked Xiao Cheng to stay in the car to watch over their stuff, took some clothes, and led Chu Xiang to the river.
Xiao Jin used to be a boxer. He devoted his time to competitions, ahd had never been close to women. His impression of women was basically dressing up, weak, and troublesome. On getting to the river, his first reaction was to urge Chu Xiang, “You have to wash quickly. It will be dark soon, and the zombies are more sensitive at night. It’s too dangerous out here.”
Chu Xiang glanced at the surrounding environment, pointed to a few big boulders and said, “Don’t stand here and suffer the wind. You can wash beside the boulder and save time.”

“Never.” Chu Xiang soaked in the river relaxedly. She closed her eyes in comfort and began to take a bath.

He squatted by the river to wash his dirty clothes, and then heard Chu Xiang say, “Wash my clothes too, thank you.”

“I saved your life.”
“So are you going to just let me wash clothes to repay you?”
“Of course not, I want you to take good care of me.”
This “care” obviously included clothing, food, housing and transportation. Xiao Jin suddenly felt a wave pressure. How could he take care of someone? How come he seemed to have taken an extra trouble? But he didn’t seem repulsed by it that much. When Chu Xiang helped him cut the grass for him just now, he already considered Chu Xiang as one of his own in his heart.
Xiao Jin shook his head and went over to take Chu Xiang’s clothes. He didn’t raise his head, but out of the corner of his eye he saw Chu Xiang’s shoulders exposed on the water. He immediately returned to his corner and scrubbed the clothes vigorously.

Xiao Jin was shocked when he was about to wash her underwear. “Tell me, are you a woman? Why don’t you know how to be shy? Are you going to even let me wash your underwear?”
This slipped from Chu Xiang’s mind just now. She just didn’t want to do laundry by herself. Now listening to his angry complaint, she burst out laughing. “It’s the end of the world. Why are you still so conservative? What man or woman? Just remember that I am your savior, and consider yourself as a senior housekeeper. It’ll be more comfortable.”
Chu Xiang was just teasing him, but she didn’t expect that he would actually continue to wash after muttering a couple of complaints. She was a little surprised. It seemed that Xiao Jin really attached great importance to this life-saving grace. This came as quite a surprise to her. But if someone was willing to wash, she saved herself the trouble and was happy to be free of any chore.
After Xiao Jin finished washing, Chu Xiang went ashore to get dressed. Xiao Jin immediately turned his back to her, and Chu Xiang couldn’t help laughing again. Xiao Jin shouted angrily, “What are you laughing at?!”
“Nothing.” Chu Xiang looked at his figure from behind him in amusement. From his appearance, he radiated the aura of someone who has been through a hundred battles. Who would have known that he was so innocent?
“Are you dressed yet?” Xiao Jin held his breath, feeling that the roots of his ears were burning. Under such circumstances, he inexplicably felt at a loss. Hearing the rustle of clothes behind him, his heart beat faster.
Chu Xiang tidied up her hair and said, “I’m dressed, let’s go. Go and ask your brother to come over and wash. In the future, everyone in our team must be clean, and no one is allowed to stink.”
