Owen won.
While many did not doubt Julian’s victory, Berg believed that Owen would win.
No, he just wanted Owen to win.
That’s not a cheap idea that Owen would be more likely to win than Julian.
Rather, it’s the opposite.
He wants to win against Owen, who is good enough to beat Julian.
Why does he want a fight with Owen so badly?
That’s because Owen is Berg’s ideal.
Berg wanted to be a wizard like Owen.
And he had a strong admiration for star wizards.
But in this land of magical supremacy, Berg, who cannot use magic, has been scorned.
The incompetent Third Prince.
That used to be his nickname.
“I’m jealous of Owen.”
Greedy and jealous, 
Berg describes himself as such.
He wished for a magical talent that would be admired by all, and he was jealous of those with talent.
Even now that he has mastered physical enhancement and has made it to the finals on the big stage of the Four Great Festivals, he still feels the same way.
“That’s why I wanted you to win.”
By beating Owen, he wanted to prove that his efforts were not wrong.
Berg gripped the sheath of his sword and sucked in a breath.

A sword flash splitted the air.
He swung the one-handed sword he had on his hip.
That is just divine speed.
He exhaled and strengthened his body at the same time, instantly creating explosive speed.
But it’s not just the speed that’s noteworthy.
Berg’s movements are lean to the extreme, and there is more than speed in them.
At the age of 15, his swordsmanship has reached the extremes.
This is largely due to his natural talent.
But more than that, we can see his blood-soaked efforts.
For a while, Berg continued to swing his sword.
“Not yet. 
It’s not properly delivered yet.”
The swordsmanship that Berg is looking for — his ideal is still a long way off.
“You can’t beat Owen with this.”

Berg turned around quickly, and then asked in a low voice.

The figure appeared out of nowhere and was wearing a black hat.
“I’m on your side.”
“An ally? Doesn’t look like one to me.”
As he said this, Berg paid the utmost attention to the man in the hat.
This is a park on the grounds of the school.
It’s not strange to have a non-Berg presence here.
But the atmosphere emanating from the man in front of him made Berg more wary.
The man is probably not affiliated with the school.
“Don’t be so alarmed, I have no intention of harming you.”
“I’d be wary if someone suddenly got behind me.”
Observing the man carefully, Berg noticed something.
Immediately after, he swung his one-handed sword at the man.
It’s so fast that normal people can’t even follow it with their eyes.
The sword did not — touch the body of the man in the hat.
“You’re violent 
man, attacking me out of the blue.”
The man in the hat laughed like it was nothing.
“Such an entity is not
”
The sword definitely hit the man in the hat.
Berg thought he reached him, but then his sword went right through him.
“I’m just a hologram, apparently.”
Of course, Berg has no idea what a hologram is.
But he only knows one person who can make something like this.
“Is it the legacy of the madman
”
Berg said, furrowing his brows.
There was once a boy who was known as a genius.
However, the boy who went astray somehow came to be called the [madman].
There are a number of magical tools created by the madman.
All of them were created from ideas that no one but him could have conceived.
“Calling him a madman is a terrible thing to say, he’s a great inventor, he’s just 
 a bit mentally deranged.”
“Don’t tell me you’ve forgotten the carnage that maniac has caused in the past.”
“I guess that’s what he needed too. Well, I didn’t come here to talk about him, the finals is held tomorrow, maybe you could let me help you with something?”
“Help?”
“I can promise you a sure victory if you want it.”
Of course Berg wants to win.
How badly did Berg want tomorrow’s final?
He’s sure no one will ever know.
And he’s proud to say that his desire to win is stronger than anyone else’s.
When Berg was silent, the man in the hat continued.
“Winning tomorrow’s game will make you a star wizard, an opportunity you can’t afford to pass up, don’t you think 
?”
Starred indicates a wizard with one or more stars.
Because body enhancement is not magic, Berg cannot be a star wizard.
However, if you win the four major festivals in middle school or high school, you can become a star wizard.
How could Berg not want that?
However, Berg is not foolish enough to take advantage of the sweet promise of victory.
“I’ll take my chances on my own, and I don’t need anyone else’s help.”
Hearing Berg’s reply, the man put his hat back on deeper.
“
Well, that’s unfortunate.”
“Who are you, and why have you approached me?”
“Whoever I am or why I approached you
 it’s because I wanted 
us to 
do that.”
The man’s statue began to shake in the middle of his story, and his voice was laced with noise.
“Us..? What the hell are you talking about?”
“If you change your mind, 
should be 
”
“Oh,  
 here’s 
 then —-.”
“Wait!”
Berg called out to him, but the man in the hat disappeared with a swoosh.
All that was left was one small magic stone.
Berg picked up the magic stone.
He concluded that he probably used this magic stone as a medium to make the hologram appear.
But still, —-.
“What the hell was that 
What did he want?”
Berg muttered as he stared at the spot where the man had been projected earlier.
