Chapter 2-11 : Daemon’s Map
Chloe was waiting in front of the dorm tower with an Aqua Sophia banner on its wall.
When Chloe saw Mylia running toward her, her chest felt warm. She recalled the scene where Mylia was running through a lavender field when they were at the Atwood Territory.
Chloe couldn’t help but make a big smile that she never showed to anyone else except Mylia.
The students who saw Chloe’s smile were surprised. Chloe’s lovely and beautiful expression made them hold their breath.
Chloe, who was the best student in the Commerce Department for two years in a row, was very popular among students, especially the students in Aqua Sophia.

Mylia took Chloe’s hand, and then the two started walking through the gate of Aqua Sophia tower while holding hands.
The students who were watching them looked a bit jealous, but some senior students near the entrance were welcoming Mylia.

After that, Chloe and Mylia climbed the spiral staircase to the second floor.

After they got to the second floor, they walked toward the back of the tower.

「This will be your room from now on. I wanted to tell you about the Daemon’s Map inside, but it looks like there’s another freshman in the room. Hmm… Mylia, can you use a spell that prevents your voice from being overheard?」(Chloe)

Mylia started circulating her magical power.

Chloe tilted her head and blinked several times, looking confused.
While the light of afternoon sun was illuminating the corridor through the window, Chloe stared at Mylia with a serious face and continued talking.
「Mylia, listen. The Magic Department student who has the Daemon’s Map will get poor grades in the following year…」(Chloe)

Mylia nodded to Chloe. She thought that she would feel safe if she opened the map with Chloe.

Once Mylia canceled the Soundproof spell, they could hear the noises from their surroundings again.

After replying to Chloe, Mylia entered her room.
There were four beds, four desks for studying, and four chairs. It seemed to be a room for four people. In the center of the room, there was a big rounded table that seemed to be the place where the residents could have tea together.

While imagining herself having a yakiniku party with her friends, Mylia observed the room which was quite spacious.
At the back of the room there was a freshman who just finished preparing herself and was about to leave for the party.
She was a tall girl with stunning golden hair that was braided intricately.
She had a sword on her waist, indicating that she was a freshman from the Knight Department.

The girl glanced at Mylia for a second, but then she turned her eyes away and walked toward the door.
Mylia was nervous, so she couldn’t greet her right away. The girl quickly opened the door and went out of the room before Mylia could even open her mouth.
She didn’t seem to be a sociable person.

While thinking positively like that, Mylia headed to a desk where a nameplate with her name was placed and put on the light blue ribbon that was on the desk.

After thinking for a moment about how she would put the scarf on, Mylia removed the barrette on her hair and tied her hair half-up with the scarf, she then looked at herself in the mirror that was placed next to her desk.
