Qin Mo locked him into his arms, and the force of his hold was so strong that not even a single crack was left between the two of them. He was holding him so tightly, it seemed as if he wanted to bring his entire being into himself.
Shi Qing did not even have the tiniest shred of resistance against him and stayed in his arms, unmoving.
Before his memory was restored, he felt very afraid and even wanted to run away once.
However, when everything came back, he miraculously calmed down again.
This man had been a demon who had walked out of an abyss from the very beginning. He never concealed anything, he showed him all of it. There was perhaps no one else in this world who knew Qin Mo better than him. Should he be afraid at this moment, or was it too late?
Even so, he really couldn’t allow Qin Mo to go on like this.
In the end, what he destroys would definitely not stop at just the world.
It would be himself as well.
Shi Qing took a deep breath and extended his arm, stroking his back gently. Rubbing from top to bottom, he comforted him seriously.
The regular rhythm of his strokes caused Qin Mo’s overly-strong hug to loosen up a bit, and Shi Qing’s own heart slowly calmed down as well.
After a short while, he finally spoke.
“Qin Mo, my memories are back.”

That soft voice and those soft words clutched onto Qin Mo’s heart instantly, causing his whole body to tense up.
“I lost my memory but I still didn’t forget about you. The moment I saw you in this world, my heart jumped. In just one day, I fell for you.”
“Qin Mo, I never forgot about you. I can’t.”
The hug which had eased up increased in force again. Qin Mo did not speak. The breaths brushing past Shi Qing’s neck had subconsciously grown heavier.
Shi Qing was still stroking Qin Mo’s back in an unhurried manner, his voice becoming softer and softer. “Qin Mo, I won’t leave you, not ever.”
Then, louder, he repeated himself, promising at the same time, “I don’t want to leave you, nor can I.” So, please don’t be afraid anymore.
A low and hoarse voice came from above, seemingly being suppressed. “Do you know what you’re saying?”
“I do.”
“You won’t have the chance to regret it.”
“I never will.”
Question after question, answered decisively without hesitation. He laid his heart open for him in that bizarre place.
Qin Mo finally loosened up and put some distance between the two of them. Looking at him face-to-face, he could see those beautiful eyes, clear as untainted crystals.
The feelings reflected inside them were sincere and not fake in the slightest. At the same time, they were so frank that it could make one’s heart flutter.
Shi Qing looked at him without even blinking. Then, he spoke out the words from the utmost depths of his heart.
“I love you, Qin Mo.”
Time stood still at that moment.
Qin Mo looked at him with complete focus, and did not speak. He did not respond and did not even show the slightest expression, as if he was frozen in place.
Despite that, Shi Qing could not back away. He stepped forward, stood on the tips of his toes, and pecked him lightly before holding him tight.
“Qin Mo.”
“Mm.”
“Don’t…be like this anymore in the future. Okay?”
Not even the romantic words could stop the stench of blood from rising into his nose.
This place was hell.
Only a few minutes had passed but it felt way longer. Shi Qing heard his response. He heard the promise his host made.
“Alright,” A calm voice with unspeakable power spoke. “I promise.”
His heart finally fell back to his chest. Shi Qing believed him, he believed him completely without even a hint of doubt.
If he said he’ll do it, then he’ll do it. Otherwise, he would never agree.
Shi Qing nuzzled him in his arms and whispered, “Let’s start over!”
“Alright.”
Shi Qing was incomparably glad that he and Qin Mo encountered their random mission and were lucky enough to obtain the Life-Saving Drive. With that, they could undo the mistakes they made and start everything over again.
At that moment, Shi Qing had sincerely hoped that they would never need to use the Life-Saving Drive.

After turning back time, Shi Qing returned to where he first started—Ye Qing’s bedroom, atop the large and fancy bed.
His mind was still slightly dazed, but he jumped off the bed the next moment.
Damn it, time to look for the host first.
He had to keep the promise he just made properly.
He had transmigrated over at midnight, exactly the time when Ye Qing had sent the miserable Ye Xin away, washed up, and went to bed.
Since they were in the Ye residence anyway, Shi Qing didn’t even change out of his pajamas and walked out after putting on his slippers.
Fortunately, with Ye Qing’s memories, he knew where his brother’s bedroom was.
However, the Ye residence was too large. Though it was a mansion, the size was a little over the top. Fortunately, it was night time and nobody was around. So, Shi Qing used his God of a Thousand Miles ability a little and nimbly ran a thousand miles ahead.
The ten-minute journey was shortened to just one minute, and he stood panting in front of Ye Mo’s bedroom door.
He was just about to knock on the door when it opened on its own.
The moment the man behind the door saw Shi Qing, a trace of surprise appeared on that pair of eyes which had always been calm and unruffled.
“Xiao Qing?”
Shi Qing took a breath before grinning. “How was it? Am I fast enough?”
Qin Mo was still a little stunned.
After catching his breath, he blinked his eyes at Qin Mo. Host, why are you so surprised? I’m not used to this!
Then, his host came back to his senses and pulled him over, locking his arms around his waist, lowering his head, and kissing those upturned lips deeply.
Shi Qing widened his eyes. “Gh…Mh…Nn…Mm….”
Qin Mo’s kiss was very eager, as if he was trying to convey all the ecstasy of his heart through that fiercely hot kiss, and as if to ascertain the truth through this passionate kiss so hot that it burned his mind.
He had always been the one to take the initiative and seek Shi Qing out.
It was the first time Shi Qing had come to him instead.
Before he could walk out the door, Shi Qing had already returned to his side.
He fulfilled his promise with his actions.
His Shi Qing really did want to become his Shi Qing.
That impatient kiss heated up both their emotions more and more. At first, Shi Qing still had some scruples, but he tossed it all behind his head and began actively responding to his movements.
Even though he was clumsy, he was sincere, and his responses carried his strong and passionate feelings.
As they kissed, they somehow ended up changing places. By the time Shi Qing came to his senses, he was already lying on the bed with Qin Mo’s face buried in his chest.
The slight coolness sobered him up instantly.
Shi Qing quickly pulled his clothes back down and looked red-faced at Qin Mo. Even his tongue felt like it was tied up. “Qin Mo, don’t…Qin Mo…”
Qin Mo looked up, his black eyes looking exceptionally soft. “Hm?” Unfortunately, he did not stop.
Shi Qing wanted to dodge away, but he couldn’t. Being kissed and licked at a certain part on his chest caused his entire person to turn soft.
But they still can’t!
He quickly moved away and said with a quivering voice, “Our bodies right now…Our bodies…Mm…No…Qin Mo…Don’t…”
The agile tongue moved downwards like a soft feather, brushing past his abdomen.
Shi Qing’s body trembled and he shut his eyes tight, clenching the sheets hard with his hands, forcing himself to stay sober. Then, he struggled to finish his words, “Right now…we’re brothers…Real brothers…We can’t…do this…”
He finally managed to say it. Unfortunately, the man over him didn’t have the slightest intention of stopping. His slender and hot fingers were even wandering downstream in an ambiguous manner.
Shi Qing really couldn’t hold on much longer, but his conscience still prevailed. He knew something like this was taboo in any world. So, he once again persuaded him. “Wait…Wait for us to return to our own bodies before continuing, okay?”
What wonderful words. Qin Mo finally lifted his head to look at him.
Shi Qing’s eyes were watery and his lips were glowing red from their earlier kiss. His cheeks were also flushed. Even though he had already taken his inhibitors and was just an ordinary beta, he was strumming all of Qin Mo’s heartstrings at this moment.
He lowered his head and kissed him on the lips. “Don’t worry, they aren’t real brothers.”
Shi Qing, “What?” He seemed to have missed something important?
“How could they not be real brothers?”
Qin Mo kissed him once again on his opening and closing mouth, speaking closely to him. “Shi Qing is not the Ye family’s child. He was adopted by Su Ran.”
This big revelation caused Shi Qing to freeze for a moment. My god, how did this happen? How come he didn’t know anything about this before? Also, how did Qin Mo find out?
He was too curious! It’s the strong smell of gossip!
Qin Mo was just about to continue on doing what he wanted to do when the soft body under him suddenly poofed into white smoke. That fair body was gone from the grey sheets, replaced by only a palm-sized, fluffy, black and white little guy.
Qin Mo, “…”
The little guy twitched its ears, looked at him bashfully with his wet eyes, asking in a tender voice, “What’s going on? Tell me.”
Qin Mo stared at him and began to ponder. Did he do a good thing or a bad thing buying him this body?
Even so, the little panda was very clever. It lifted its short little legs, wiggled its butt, and climbed up his host’s palm, finding a comfortable position to lay down on behavingly and looked at him with his little eyes, listening seriously.
Qin Mo, “…”
After a moment of silence, his other hand finally couldn’t resist moving over to touch that soft, frail, and warm little body, and the dissatisfaction in his heart instantly flew away.
He teased his chin and touched his little belly. Qin Mo smiled and told him the whole story in a tender voice.
Shi Qing listened seriously, feeling as if a bucket of dog blood had just been poured all over him.
What a complicated situation!
Immediately after, Shi Qing came back to his senses and looked at Qin Mo with interest. “So, does that mean our first branch mission can be successfully completed?”
They weren’t blood-related brothers, and Shi Qing was an Omega. He could definitely pair successfully with Qin Mo!
Qin Mo looked at him and spoke seriously, “If you hadn’t interrupted just now, we would already have completed our first mission.”
Uhhhhh, hey guys. It’s been a while…*shifty eyes*. To be honest life is busy. My oldest daughter is eagerly leaping into horseback riding. I’m gonna be so broke. We’re getting a horse. Haha. Life. Anyways, summer is wild and I mostly am along for the ride. The good news is, the next chapter is in the works, and will not involve an ‘extended’ break. Thanks for waiting patiently. Or not. I’ll aim for more regularity. I finally got the oomph to get to work on things and then my kids damaged my computer…again…sighhhh…money. Love em though.
Also, I adore this chapter, and what it does for their relationship. If you need a refresher on the plot just ask lol. It’s always nice to see mini panda Shi Qing show up again.
