Kuroki was taught by Loughas about demon’s common sense in the middle between their magic lesson. Goblin was an ugly-green colored demon whose height just around 120 cm on the average. Loughas also told him that the goblin’s head was tougher than iron and they weak against music.He heard that goblin were Modes’s subordinates. Thus he wondered why did they attack them, their allies?
「The goblins around this area aren’t under your majesty’s juridiction.」「Seriously!? Now that you say it!」
Kuroki recalled his learning session with Loughas again in hearing Nut’s words.Goblins were created by god of darkness. But, it didn’t mean they’re referring Modes since there’s numerous others god of darkness.Or rather, almost all demons who refered Modes were in Nargol, Modes basically has little to zero influence to the demons outside of Nargol.In short, even a demon under Modes’s rule if they leave Nargol, have to wipe their own butt if they made a problem outside of Nargol. Thus, both goblins and orcs were attacking us.The first time Kuroki learnt that fact, he realized that he was deceived by Demon King’s label on Modes.But, the human in this world still believe that those goblins and orcs that attacking them were Modes’s subordinates.If you ask for the reason, it’s simply because Modes was the first on the list of darkness god.Though it was only known much later by Kuroki, Modes was in fact the most powerful Darkness God.But then, being strongest didn’t automatically made him as the Darkness God’s king.In fact, there’s only small fraction of darkness god who chose to follow Modes. Some of them didn’t follow him, the rest were hostile toward him.Kuroki felt anxiety for his future when he heard about that matter.Gned’s rough handling of his wyvern made their air travel became more dangerous. To make the matter worse, they were flying at low-altitude and has left nargol a while ago.
「AAAH! THEY FOUND US!!」
When Kuroki turned his attention toward the direction Gned pointing at, there he saw severals winged human-like form approached toward their direction.Those golden armored winged human-like form then aiming atKuroki and co with their bow.
「IT’S THE ANGEL’S HOLY F4CKING KNIGHT!!! LORD GNED, RUUUUUN!」
Said Nut with flustered voice.The angel were a race created by Light God. Their outer appearance resembling a winged human.As a winged race, angel has no need to use floating magic, thus they could use both sword and magic while flying in the air.The other race was no match for those angels since they couldn’t fight while using floating magic, they ride a wyvern for air combat against the angel.Compared to those master of air combat, Gned was still an amateur who just got a permission to ride his wyvern, thus he might be knocked out of his own wyvern if he fought those angels by himself.As soon as he heard Nut’s warning, Gned clumsily trying to make his wyvern to turn.Since the situation called for it, Kuroki has no choice but to recite the spell of flight magic.Kuroki’s flight magic allowed him to fly even faster in the sky since it was higher tier version of floating magic.He thought that this magic should be enough to shake off the pursuit of those angels.
「Your excellency!?」「Lord Gned, you focus on controlling your wyvern and leave the rest to me. Hold in tight Nut, things going to be dangerous after this.」
After he said so, Kuroki turned around toward the direction of those incoming angels.Those angels fired their arrows toward Kuroki. For Kuroki, it felt like those arrows were moving in slow motion.
「HA!」
Kuroki took out his demon sword, knocked down every single one of those arrows.
「HOLY MOSES!」
The angels were left agaped by that surreal scene.Kuroki then make a giant black flame appeared in the sky.
「O Black Flame!」
When he fired the mass of black flame, the angels were scattering around, trying to save their life.That black flame was a warning shot since he had no intention to fight them to begin with. But, he realized soon enough that it was extremely effective to scare those angels.
「It’s Runfeld, RUUUN!」
The angels escaped due to them mistaking Kuroki for Runfeld.Kuroki went back on Gned’s wyvern.
「Amazing….」
He could herd Nut muttered so.「Lord Gned, I’ve drove away those angels. Let’s continue our flight.」
Said Kuroki as he smiled toward Gned.
「R-ROGER THAT!」
Gned replied so while chewing his lips. His wyvern then flying at high altitude.

Thought Kuroki as they continue their flight under the blue sky.After they repelled the angels, the wyvern they rode flying across the sky, cutting through the cloud in front of them.Kuroki has to concentrate a bit to use his flight magic to flying in the sky, thus he couldn’t enjoy the scenery to the fullest. Thus, he think that flying on the back of something might be a good idea.
（Let’s ask a wyvern for me when I’m back from my journey.）
Soon enough, they’re arrived at the end of Akeron mountain range.
「Thank you very much, lord Gned」
Kuroki thanked Gned after he descended from the wyvern’s back to the ground.
「It’s me who should say that!」
Gned was always on nervous state from the beginning till the end of their flight. But, Kuroki felt that Gned attitude softened a little compared to when they first met.
「Though I can only accompany you till this place, allow me to pray for your safe journey!」「Thank you, lord Gned.」
Gned bid his farewell and flying back to Nargol after he unloaded Kuroki’s luggage.Kuroki has to walk by foot from this point.
（If I’m not wrong, Reiji and co’s base are somewhere in the south, a place called Holy Republic Lenaria.）
Kuroki looked at southern direction with his back facing toward Nargol. Though it’ll save a lot of time if he used teleportation magic, the gate was unfortunately has to be set beforehand.Naturally there’s no transfer gate outside of Nargol since Nargol citizens doesn’t even need one to begin with. Thus, his only choice was traveling by foot.Though he was still far away from Holy Republic Lenaria, Kuroki could move thousands times faster than normal human of this world. Thus, it should take him one or two month to arrive if he followed the road.
「Let’s get going, Nut.」
In this way, Kuroki took the first step toward the human’s world.
