Listening to the reports of his subordinate, Lu Zhihai furrowed his eyebrows. “You mean to say they’ve taken on a level A task on the outskirts of Nancheng?”
The user nodded his head. “Yes, Haixiao.”
Lu Zhihai slowly tapped the table with his fingers. He had accidently discovered that all the leaders at the base had been trying to recruit this man named Huo Junhan, including his own father. Who knew that he wouldn’t give any face to them? Although thunder abilities were rare, he was the first to be so arrogant and not put anyone in his eyes.
And even though the leaders of the base didn’t say anything, their hearts still felt unhappy at being ignored and turned away like that. In Base S, powerful users could freely join any faction.For the sake of the thunder ability, however, every authoritative personage had appealed to Huo Junhan, with each stronger and more powerful than the last. But, at the end of the day, they were all rejected.
Several of these forces openly fought for his favor, while others secretly came to  gain his favor, but they were met with the same reaction.
Lu Zhihai did not know how ignorant this man could be—did he really think that he was that important?
Although Lu Zhihai wasn’t as liked as his brother, he wasn’t treated badly. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have as much power as he does in the base. As long as he wanted something, he would get it.
He pondered for a while, humming a tune, before breaking out in a chuckle. “Instead of getting those old forces mixed up, let me start by talking to my father. Maybe I will even be rewarded.” And
maybe he could catch that little beauty. What was the saying? Two birds with one stone?

 You know what to do, right?” He said to his subordinate.
His plan was simple. Join their team, cultivate feelings with the woman, and let that man “unfortunately” perish during the task. Then, that beautiful woman can lean on him after she loses her lover. 1

Lu Zhihai waved his hand and interrupted him, “Naturally, I have my own way.”
How could he not know that beyond the outskirts of Nancheng was one of the most densely packed zombie base? That’s why he was more confident in his plan. Besides, as long as he had his powers, those zombies were nothing.
His subordinate still hesitated and said, “Young master Hai, I hear that the base in going to encircle the area and suppress the Zombie King today.”
Lu Zhihai’s eyebrows slightly furrowed. This morning he did hear something similar. “What does the Zombie King matter concern me?”
His subordinate felt a bit nervous. “The outskirts of Nancheng is not far from there, I’m afraid

His gaze landed on his subordinate’s uneasy face and squinted, “Are you doubting my abilities? Several other forces are joining Base S in that expedition, anyway. No matter how powerful that Zombie King is, he can still die, right?”
“Don’t give me these useless reports, otherwise you don’t have to work for me anymore.”
The subordinate knew Lu Zhihai’s temper well, so he snorted under his breath but didn’t say anything else.
The task only required that the task takers are equipped with weapons before they leave the base.
Level A tasks were different from other tasks—the risks were greater and the assignment was more dangerous.
Huo Junhan’s task was to kill a horde of mutant zombies on the outskirts of Nancheng.
