Although the voice still sounded a little confused, at least the words it said were clear so Shen Mubai felt relieved.

After eating and drinking, Shen Mubai was a little sleepy, so she climbed to the soft big bed, slowly drifting along to her slumber.

A thought suddenly came to her, she asked, “That’s wrong ah, System, I’ve finished both of the two tasks, why am I still in this world?”

System answered after some time has passed, “The progress bar hasn’t been filled enough yet.”

Shen Mubai thought in her heart, should I see Snow White first to finish the task?

When she woke up from her sleep, rays of golden light had already seeped through the window, spilling onto the luxurious floor tile, refracting a beautiful radian.

Shen Mubai rubbed her eyes, and when she heard soft sounds coming from outside, she subconsciously called out, “Avera, are you outside?”

As soon as her voice fell, the palace gate was opened, making a slightly heavy sound.

The teenager walked in, dressed in a pure black military uniform with an exquisite medal engraved on his chest, and a very familiar face under some messy ebony hair.

His line of sight fell unto the sleepy girl in front, his eyes which were covered in long and thick eyelashes curved up, his red lips slightly raised. He said in a low and soft voice, “Mother, I’ve come to pick you up.”

Shen Mubai slowly widened her eyes.

Everyone in the Alessia Palace knew that the King took back a beautiful girl from Roentzent and built the most luxurious and lavish palace for her. But no one knew what the young girl looked like, because the new King prohibited anyone to enter the palace except for himself.

That day, Shen Mubai was brought in Snow White’s embrace all the way back to Alessia, she can’t help but buried her head in shame deep in his chest for almost the entire journey.

A low soft laugh sounded from above as Snow White softly whispered in her ear, “Is mother shy?”

It’s still okay if he didn’t say it,  but now she couldn’t help but raised her head angrily, “Why are you a boy ahhhh?!”

The eyes under the dense eyelashes streaked with a faint smile. Snow White lowered his head slightly and a low laugh came from his throat, “Does my mother want to see me in girl’s clothes? Your taste is too heavy ah.”

Shen Mubai became even more inconsolable, so she couldn’t hold back and bit him, then buried herself back in his chest like an ostrich.

Snow White’s absolutely still pitch-black eyes dimmed slightly, but he immediately sent out a low laughter afterwards.

Mother, you’re so cute that I want to gulp you down in one bite…

Recalling the scene that day, a red blush started to appear on Shen Mubai’s fair face once again as she can’t help but plunge herself into the quilt. She didn’t quite understand what happened that lead everything into this strange mess now.

Snow White has locked her up for three days, during which she had never seen anyone beside that one outrageous man!

As the door was opened and closed again, she didn’t need to look to know who it was.

Looking at the girl who was burying herself like an ostrich, Snow White revealed a faint smile inside his eyes, then said, “Mother, are you feeling hungry yet?”

As soon as Shen Mubai said that she wasn’t hungry, a growling sound immediately roared from her stomach.

Shen Mubai, “…” Forget it, let’s just eat.

Snow White walked closer, leaned over and touched her soft hair, saying gently, “I prepared for you the roast chicken that you like, there’s also dessert after the meal.”
