“What test?” The old woman only replied after a while.

Lu Mingshu endured pain and slowly said, “Aren’t you preparing to escape together after such a long time? I believe that you’ve been prepared even before I arrived. A grunt rang from the cell beside the uncle.

Lu Mingshu quietly counted. There were six people here, including her.

Nice, they already joined forces since the start. This makes things easier.

“Reorganize what you did this time and redo the experiment on another person. If it succeeds again, that means it works, right?”

“Good idea!” The Drug Lord clapped and patted Xie Lianzhen’s head. “You’re so talented. Do you really not want to be my disciple?”

“I don’t think there’s any difference between my situation and being your disciple at this point.” Xie Lianzhen laughed.

“True.” The Drug Lord smiled widely but soon frowned. “But it’s troublesome to catch one more!”

“Let me help you.” Xie Lianzhen looked at him. “You’re so nice to me, I have to do something to express my gratitude. I obviously can’t do the tedious jobs, but simple ones like recording the steps for you should be fine.”

The Drug Lord furiously nodded. “Okay! I’ll get one more later.”

Xie Lianzhen smiled thinly.

“Wait a while boy, we will start tomorrow!” The Drug Lord could no longer contain his excitement.

“Sure.”
