Ch5 - It Hurts So Much

Wang Chao, who was still sleeping in the hotel, also received Duan Yikun’s call.
“Confirm wha time?” He was still half asleep. Unable to tell who it was, he continued, “You guys play by yourself. Your daddy had a threesome last night. I’m tired as hell, don’t wanna go anywhere.”
Duan Yikun was smiling as he said, “If you don’t come, then I’m going to call your big brother.”
Upon hearing the words “big brother”, Wang Chao jolted awake and looked at the caller ID. He relaxed as he turned over and said lazily, “Oh, it’s you. Kun-ge.”
“The name and members of the group have been confirmed. The contract will be signed next Monday. You have to come too so everyone can get to know each other and get acquainted.”
“Alright. Have you informed Xiao Xie yet?”
“The five other members have been contacted already.”
He paused for a second, and continued, “Seemed like you had a good time last night?”
Wang Chao was a bit hungry and wanted to go eat something. He sat up, combing his hand through his hair. He said, “It was alright. Kun-ge, do you have anything else to say? If not, then I’m gonna hang up.”
“It’s not really anything important. Just wanted to let you know that now since you’re going to debut, don’t go wild outside. If someone takes any photos, you’ll be in big trouble in the future.”
“Oh.”
Duan Yikun heard his indifference and added, “And if your big brother finds out, you’ll be in even bigger trouble.”
Ultimately, Wang Chao was most afraid of his brother. “Whatever you do, don’t tell him I had a threesome last night or anything. I didn’t go home, and I told him I went fishing in Miyun.”

He lived together with his second brother, Wang Jin, in the small villa his father had bought on the corner of the Second Ring Road. Wang Qi would come back to live with them occasionally.
After eating outside, he wandered back home and saw Wang Jin watering the flowers in the yard. He called, “Second bro, you’re back really early from the hospital today.”
Wang Jin looked at him with a spurious smile and said, “Today’s Saturday. I don’t have work. I was waiting to go fishing with you in Miyun. I waited for a while, but you still didn’t come back. How were you fishing at the bar in Gongti? ?”
“Wang Number Two! Did you look at the synced iCloud photos on my computer behind my back again?!”
Wang Jin could only reply, “It wasn’t me who looked. You should go in first; it’s hot today. There’s some watermelon in there for you.”
His expression was normal, he didn’t hit him, and he even told him to go in to have some watermelon? Wang Chao opened the door and walked in, doubting because this was too good to be true.
Wang Jin continued watering the flowers.
Half a minute later, the sounds of Wang Chao’s screaming rang out. “Big bro, I was wrong! I didn’t go fish! I didn’t! Agh, Big bro I know I’m wrong! Fuck, fuck, fuck! Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow…!”
Monday.
Wang Chao was driven out of the house early in the morning by his brother to sign the contract. When he arrived at Huixing Entertainment, only Xie Zhuxing was there, waiting alone on the same sofa he had sat on during the interview.
The two took a look at each other and opened their mouths at the same time.
“You’re sick?”
“You got hit?”
“…”
“I’m not sick. There was a performance yesterday, and I got home late. I didn’t get enough sleep, so my complexion is a bit bad,” Xie Zhuxing said.
Wang Chao didn’t want to mention where the bruise on his face came from. “Why are you still performing? You’re signing a contract and you’re gonna debut soon, so why are you still doing these trivial things?”
Xie Zhuxing smiled and didn’t reply.
After a while, the other four members took the same elevator and came up together. The four were talking and laughing, evidently very friendly.
Xie Zhuxing greeted the others and they reciprocated. They knew they were going to be members in the future, so they were polite to him as well.
Only Wang Chao didn’t bother acknowledging the others. He and Ji Jie didn’t like each other, but it seemed the other three have a pretty good relationship with him. Because of that, Wang Chao slightly disliked the other three as well. They all greeted him, but he merely snorted in response. The mere sight of them made him annoyed.
Everyone got together, and Duan Yikun came quickly with the other two senior executives of the company.
The process of signing the contract was simpler than Xie ZHuxing had imagined. Duan Yikun briefly explained the most important agreements on the contract and asked them if there was anything they didn’t understand.
Wang Chao didn’t even flip through it. Yesterday, Duan Yikun had already forwarded the contract to Wang Qi to look through.
Xie Zhuxing flipped through it and thought everything was acceptable. To a newbie, this contract was already very lenient.
The remaining people were newbies too and didn’t know anything. But at the same time, they didn’t know what to ask either.
Only Ji Jie raised his hand and asked, “I wanted to ask…after the company takes its share and taxes are applied, will the rest be shared equally amongst six people?”
Duan Yikun glanced at him. He pushed his glasses up as he said, “That is correct, artists’ groups have always worked like this.”
Ji Jie probably thought that this question was slightly inappropriate. His face was a little red as he said, “Thank you Duan-ge. I don’t have any more questions.”
They all signed the contract smoothly, and the two senior executives issued official words of welcome on behalf of the company to welcome them to Huixing Entertainment. After, they left.
Only Duan Yikun and the six young people remained.
He stood in front of the six and said, “I don’t like to speak in circles, so I will say everything straightforwardly. I chose you all and have great hopes for your future. Whether this hope can become a reality will all depend upon you. I have only two requirements: obedience and diligence.”
Other than Wang Chao who was yawning, the other five were listening intently.
Duan Yikun pretended he didn’t see Wang Chao. He smiled as he said, “I’m going to give you your first mission now. It will be a month of pre-debut training, which will include vocal music, instrumental music, and dancing. Please do your best this month.”
Wang Chao finished yawning. He heard what he said and said dully, “Are we starting today?”
Duan Yikun nodded.
Wang Chao wanted to say something, but Duan Yikun cut in, “Didn’t you say you wanted to dance with Xiao Xie? Xiao Xie, go to the administrator and grab the key to the training room on the 10th floor. Before the dance teacher comes, you should help him stretch. Yang Xiaomu, Gao Siyuan, you two go to the 12th floor to find the vocal music teacher. Ji Jie and Cheng Yao, you two go to the piano room on the 12th floor.”
Wang Chao’s whole body wasn’t in a good condition right now. He was dragged out of bed by Wang Qi at seven o’clock. Just as he thought he could go home and make up his sleep after signing the contract, not only was he unable to sleep, but now he had to go stretch.
He also didn’t dare to not go either. If Duan Yikun tells his brother, then it’ll be over for him.
He followed Xie Zhuxing into a training room and he said, “I don’t wanna.”

As if he was wronged, Wang Chao said, “I didn’t sleep well yesterday. I was bored last night, so I watched a horror film. I dragged my second brother to watch with me, but in the middle of it, he went back to the hospital because of an emergency call. So I finished watching it all alone…really almost scared your daddy to death! I live on the third floor of my villa and there was no toilet in my room, so I had to go outside. I was so scared in the corridor! There were ghost shadows everywhere!  I didn’t have the balls to go out either. I couldn’t sleep because I had to hold in my pee till dawn. ”
“….You’re still scared of ghosts?”
“You’re not scared?”
Xie Zhuxing shook his head and said, “I don’t believe in supernatural stuff.”
“That’s great! In the future, I’ll call you up when I wanna watch. Every time I ask my brother to watch it, he always yells at me. Ah, I really can’t anymore. I’m gonna fall asleep.”
As he said that, he threw himself into Xie Zhuxing’s arms and began to play dead. He said he didn’t want to stretch his tendons and didn’t want to dance.
Xie Zhuxing was speechless. He had never met this type of person before.
He could see that Wang Chao had no basic dancing skills. At this age, it would be very difficult to start from the beginning unless he’s willing to endure hardships that ordinary people wouldn’t be willing to. And evidently, Wang Chao…had never suffered in his life before.
He didn’t want to upset Wang Chao, so he just sat on the mat against the wall.
Wang Chao was lying on his legs very naturally, using them as a pillow.

Wang Chao actually just wanted to bring him out and go play, so he said, “I’m about to starve to death.”
Xie Zhuxing retrieved some snacks from his bag and said, “Here’s a Snicker to sweep away your hunger.”

The dance teacher came. She was a female teacher in her thirties. She looked very stern, but when she saw Xie Zhuxing, her expression immediately brightened. “Xiao Xie, the moment I saw the name I was wondering if it was you. It really is.”
Xie Zhuxing got up hurriedly and bowed. “Hello, Miss Li.”
Wang Chao sat on the mat and looked up.

He was crying as his legs were shaking. He tried to get up, but he couldn’t. Xie Zhuxing had no choice but to go and help him up.
He held onto Xie Zhuxing as he cried openly, “I’ve never felt this pain in my life before.It really fucking hurts. I can’t even close my legs…I feel like I’ve been fucked…ow…it hurts like hell.”
