It was the first time that Jiang Yinghe had felt like this.
Back on Earth, he was the type that tended to close himself off from society. He only had a few friends and little interest beyond gaming and reading.
He’s never felt so-
Hot.
His whole body was hot, so hot that his brain was practically boiling. His hand remained tightly gripped on his sword which was the only cool sensation he could feel. Even the air he breathed in was warm.
If Jiang Yinghe hadn’t become independent at a young age, he would’ve started to cry already from how miserable he felt.
He kept enduring, but that obscene smell clung to him relentlessly, showing not the slightest hint of letting up anytime soon. The scent of blood and the cold fragrance of his body mixed together to give off a uniquely chilling yet vivacious aroma.
The Seven Days of Joy was one of the highest level creations of the He Huan sect. Combined with the demonic techniques utilized by a cultivator of the same realm as him, even someone as steadfast as Jiang Yinghe was powerless to resist.
His muddled consciousness faded in and out. The sword pendant on Wangchen brushed over the back of his hand with a feather-light touch. The tassel on the end made his skin itch.
Jiang Yinghe tried to circulate his energy to defend against the spread of the poison in his body, but he was fighting a losing battle. His eyes slowly gained a layer of moisture. He really couldn’t hold on much longer.
A familiar pair of arms embraced him and lowered the temperature of his burning body.
Li Huanhan was hugging him.
His eldest disciple always had a dangerous aura around him, but when he embraced him, a soft side for him alone was all that was left.
Jiang Yinghe recognized him. He trusted his own disciple’s character and personality, plus Huanhan already had someone in his heart, so he couldn’t possibly

His train of thought came to a crashing halt. Didn’t his first disciple like men?!
Was this really appropriate then? Two single men together
.. Before Jiang Yinghe could retreat, his finger was captured by the other person. A clear stream of spiritual energy entered to break the ongoing stalemate in his body.
Jiang Yinghe relaxed– Just because he liked men doesn’t mean he can’t discern between them! More than that, I’m his Shizun!
Look at how filial he is: a shining example of a future immortal cultivator raised under the flag of socialism!
A miraculous surge of pride rose in Jiang Yinghe’s heart. He quickly clasped his hand tightly over Huanhan’s, leaning closer to his chest as he asked, “Where are the others? What about the dimensional array? A fragment of Xiao Xuanyu’s soul managed to escape

“That demonic cultivator is dead.”
Jiang Yinghe received a big shock. “

Are you hurt?”
If his disciple was able to say that, he must have fought him. Even though Xiao Xuanyu’s strength was greatly diminished, there was still a distance of two realms between them. How could he have emerged unharmed?
Upon the silence from his disciple, Jiang Yinghe was just about to ask more questions when he heard the other’s hoarse voice.
“Shizun,” Li Huanhan seemed to struggle to suppress his emotions. He lowered his head to suck in a deep breath by his neck. “worry about yourself first.”
With an influx of fresh spiritual energy, Jiang Yinghe was doing much better than before. He was reminded by Li Huanhan of his current state and worried.
Against the effects of the Seven Days of Joy, one could only wait it out. He closed his eyes to concentrate on eliminating the foreign forces in his body.
It was only after Jiang Yinghe shut his eyes completely that Li Huanhan dared to take a good look at him.
This was a once in a lifetime opportunity, but to Li Huanhan it was less of an opportunity than a grueling test of his willpower.
Shizun had not yet realized his intentions, and it was not yet the right time to reveal them. But it was during this transitional period that this plum blossom was forced to mature and bloomed in front of him.
He slowly lifted a hand to run through Shizun’s inky black locks. He wanted to touch his cheek but refrained.
Li Huanhan stared vacantly at him.
He never thought that the world ‘helpless’ could one day be used to describe him.
His lips curled in a self-deprecating smile. Noticing the splatters of blood on Jiang Yinghe’s cheek, he carefully wiped them away with a fingertip.
The corners of Shizun’s eyes remained moist and red like tears had been forced out.
Li Huanhan knew that he wasn’t a gentleman in any sense of the word. His jealousy, greed and possessive nature were an integral part of him, seemingly carved into his bones. These feelings only became stronger over time.
But his desire to cherish and watch attentively over a certain someone grew alongside them.
Jiang Yinghe could hear the other’s breathing become harsh.
He split his attention to ask, “What’s wrong?”
Before the sound of his voice had faded, he could sense another set of footsteps and spiritual energy approaching. They belonged to Qin Jun.
“Qin-shidi came.” Li Huanhan said.
Jiang Yinghe made a noise of agreement before he realized something and raised his eyes. “Who’s watching over the array then?”
“When the inner dimension showed signs of movement, Chang Ye shidi activated the transmission tablet.” Qin Jun replied.
“
..Good.”
Jiang Yinghe breathed a sigh of relief, but he felt like he’d blown the situation out of proportion. Since Xiao Xuanyu was already dead, any remaining traces of demonic energy wouldn’t be too troublesome to deal with. Fellow Peng Lai sect cultivators can help clean up.
He sat in between the two, not noticing the silent exchange between Qin Jun and Li Huanhan. They had fought an entire battle right over their Shizun’s head.
Qin Jun retracted his gaze and sensed an uncharacteristic warmth radiating from Jiang Yinghe’s body.
The usually cold fragrance seemed to heat up at this moment.
Qin Jun sent spiritual energy through his back, his hand a mere layer of fabric away from the other’s skin.
The last time he held his Shizun, he could feel the other’s narrow yet muscular waist. This time he moved his hand from his back and could feel how light the other really was.
He was lighter than the spirits that resided in the ghost city. Qin Jun stared down for a while. His bone hand tidied Shizun’s hair compulsively before reaching to brush back some strands from his ear.
His cold finger bones were repelled. Gray eyes met blood-red ones.
Qin Jun glared at Li Huanhan in warning and smirked arrogantly. “Does Shizun feel uncomfortable anywhere?”
He was asking a question he already knew the answer to. Not bothering to hide his actions from Li Huanhan, he came close enough for his warm breath to brush past the nape of Jiang Yinghe’s neck.
“If you still don’t feel well,” Qin Jun paused for a moment before slowly continuing. “although this disciple’s realm is still unstable, I have reached the Primordial God level so I can help Shizun
..”
He couldn’t finish his sentence.
Chang Ye made his long overdue entrance, his entire body emitting the refreshing scent of green tea as he approached. He called out to Jiang Yinghe as he bounded over to his side–
And then this little devil was intercepted in midair by Li Huanhan. His face was blank and his voice calm. “Little shidi’s cultivation is insufficient, so it would be better for you to stay away.”
Chang Ye’s mind went blank. He tried to argue, “My cultivation is already
.”
“With your Shixiongs here,” Qin Jun said with a ‘friendly’ smile. “how can we let you bear this ‘burden’?”
Although the three of them did not get along, they had to show restraint in front of Jiang Yinghe.  Chang Ye clenched his hand into fists, trying to fight the urge to start something. He watched the other two provide energy with a difficult expression.
It was only under the combined efforts of his disciples and himself that Jiang Yinghe was able to barely suppress the effects of the Seven Days of Joy.
Sweat dampened the hair on his forehead as he let out a long breath. He tried to stand up but a sudden rush of weakness softened all his limbs.
His vision went black as he toppled into the arms of one of his disciples. At the same time, since its master was dead, the illusory realm inside the dimensional array chose this moment to collapse.
With a great amount of effort, Jiang Yinghe managed to climb out of his disciple’s lap. Under the moonlight, he met the astonished eyes of Yan-shijie and several of her personal disciples standing in front of him.
Jiang Yinghe was like a deer caught in headlights.
Yan Caiwei looked on like a chicken with its head cut off.
Jiang Yinghe: “Shijie
..”
The purpled-clad Yan Caiwei was silent for quite a while before replying, stumbling over her words. “Jiang-shidi, isn’t this
..”
She paused and carefully asked. “Isn’t this too risquĂ©?”
Jiang Yinghe: “
What.”
Yan Caiwei felt a blush rise on her old face. “Well, even your shijie has never seen a sight as bold as this before.”
She hesitated and swallowed nervously. “I mean doing it right in the middle of a brothel in front of everyone
 It doesn’t seem right.”
Jiang Yinghe: “
”
