We flew through the sky and left the “City of the End of the Hero” behind, and then ran down the street.
We were close to the border.
However, there was no barrier at the border. Passage was rather free.
There was a town of inns carved out of the valley.
It was a town where merchants and travelers came and went, where they rested and shopped, and where there was a large church that sold amulets to protect against demons. Most people came for the latter
At first, we were going to cross the mountain and go on, but then I decided that since the misunderstanding about the “priest killer” had been cleared up, there was no need to sneak around. So we decided to stop at the inn and see if we could find a place to stay.
We had left our carriage and luggage behind, so we needed to go shopping again. It was good to have some money.
So, I rented a room at the inn (I’m so nervous with all the girls), and when we stepped into the room.
“Mel!”
“Brother, get a grip!”
I collapsed.
I finally couldn’t take the intense headache and extreme fatigue anymore, so I threw myself on the bed. Oh, it feels so good….
“But he’ll be back soon!”
What is this?! I was really tired, and it just blew away. Lieselotte gave me a bottle of “fairy elixir” and I took a sip, and here I am.
My headache is still there, but my eyes are clear and my body feels light.
“This is the second highest level recovery potion after the “Goddess Potion”.  Even fatal wounds can be recovered enough to save your life.It restores all of your strength and magic, and it also removes most of your abnormal conditions.”
The vial that Lieselotte held in her hand contained a light green, glittering liquid.
It was worth three million Gold.
That’s about the annual salary of a regular employee at a well-paying farm. I was a non-regular, so it was about a third of that. But that was enough for me to eat, sleep and work.
I could only thank her for using such an expensive item. It was the first time she had actually used it too.
“Thank you very much, Miss Lieselotte. You saved us.”
“No, I did what was natural…. Hmm? Hey? I thought I hadn’t told you my name yet. ……?”
Oh no! She’ s going to notice that I read it in Appraisal!
“Oh, I see. After all, you are…”
Lieselotte looked as if she understood what was going on, and then she tucked the vial into her hip pouch and sat upright on the floor.
The three of us from the original group sat on the bed and stretched our backs. My bare sword was dangerous and in the way, so I pulled it from my waist and threw it on the bed.
Lieselotte was startled. I must have handled it too roughly.
“I’m Lieselotte Kiewel, a member of the Kingsguard of the Kingdom of Filianis.”
She bowed deeply, and we bowed as well.
I didn’t need to be told her name, I knew this person because I had read her information.
She is 15 years old, only half a year older than me. She officially took on the task of searching for Sylphy after gaining the unique skill “Must Hit” in the “Blessing Ceremony”. She is a wizard who uses a rare weapon called a magic gun.
“I’m Mel Lylute. This is Clara Ku of the Tiger People. And this one is Silfina Est Filianis, as you may know from …….”
Lieselotte looked up and responded with an eye bow.
“I don’t need that kind of tone. Please call me Liza. Although I was unaware of it, I cannot apologize enough for my rudeness in pointing a gun at the hero. I am willing to accept any punishment. But there is something I need to tell you, so can you please give me a moment?”
“Ah, yes. Then, can you please speak normally too, Liza?
She seemed to be occupied with thoughts such as, “What if I bite my tongue due to my unfamiliar tone of voice,” or “I’m so nervous that my stomach hurts.”
“Yeah, but in front of the Princess, that’s…..”
She was glancing at Sylphy.
“I’ve lost my memory, so even if you say princess, it doesn’t ring a bell. So let’s talk like friends, okay? Liza. I’m just Sylphy.”
Oh, Liza, aka Lieselotte, was “shaking with emotion”.
I knew what she had to tell me, but I wanted to cross-reference the information with what the hero had told me.
I’ll ask the questions and we’ll talk about it.
“The oracle.
“The one who will succeed the hero.
“The Priestess of Light.
“Chaos.
And the Divine Eye.”
Liza murmured with a mysterious look on her face.
“By ‘chaos,’ you mean the evil dragon that the heroes are supposed to have defeated. But in reality, you could barely contain it……”.
“The Divine Eyes” –  “Divine Eyes” is definitely my “Appraisal” skill.
Since there was no point in hiding it from her, I told her honestly about my “appraisal” skill. I’ve already told Clara about it, but she’s still very much in the “this looks amazing” zone. She still wagged her tail in a “that’s my brother” kind of way.
“It’s a lot more powerful than I thought it would be. And I can’t believe that the Earth Mother Goddess gave it to you directly after removing you from the world’s reasoning…..”
Why was it me? Maybe she was in a hurry and made a mistake, or if it just happened to be me who was in a hurry when she gave it.
Well, what does it matter?
I can’t help what I have received.
“It’s an unexpected situation, isn’t it? So, can’t you think of something like this? This time, the resurrected evil dragon has even more vicious power than before.”
Please don’t say such a horrifying thing.
What is it really like?
I knew it was a dragon as big as a mountain from the “memory” engraved on the “sword of the hero”.
I don’t mind fighting that thing, but if it’s even stronger than that, I might as well run.
I just need a little information.
“But I can’t see it directly…. Ah, it’s sealed somewhere in this world, isn’t it? So if I] can get the information out of this world itself, I should be able to do it, right?”
I stared blankly into the room. Even a room in a border inn town must be in this world itself.
I’d like to get some information on the Evil Dragon. I thought, while lazing around.
Bwah.
“Mel?”
“Brother~!”
“Your nose is bleeding!”
Yes, I blew my nose in a spectacular fashion. It’s not that I saw a beautiful woman changing clothes or anything.
It’s probably because my body couldn’t take it because it wasn’t the kind of information I could get easily.
My status is poor, you know.
“Mel, are you okay? Does it hurt anywhere?”
“Brother, look up, look up.”
“No, no, no. Hold the base of your nose and look down.”
I was very touched by the three girls who took care of me. If you had told me before I received the blessing, I would have cursed you for being a dreamy boy.
“Liza, what was that medicine you gave me?”
“Oh, that’ll cure you in one go.”
” Okay, okay. I’ ll be right–“
“No, I’m all right.”
