Di Qiuhe quit trying to wake He Bai up, he put He Bai back into the bed and tucked him in, then he went to get a warm towel to wipe He Bai’s tears and some ice in case He Bai woke up with his eyes swollen.

The ice had sent some chills on He Bai’s eyes, he slowly woke up and stared at Di Qiuhe’s back for a while. Then he wrapped his arms around Di Qiuhe’s neck and cuddled Di Qiuhe tightly.

“Did I woke you up? Sorry was trying to help.” Di Qiuhe turned back to look at He Bai, he gently stroked He Bai’s hair and asked, “Second round of crying? Could you please gimme some time to get changed first? This pajama is wet with your teardrops now.”

He Bai chuckled, he gave Di Qiuhe a gentle bite on the shoulder.

“Help, help, I’m under attack.” smiled Di Qiuhe, he lied down right next to He Bai and asked gently, “Bai, can you please tell me what’s going on? I’ve been meaning to ask you this question for days now, we are partners, I’m more than willing to face whatever life throws at us together with you, thick or thin.”

Hearing this and thinking about what a handful he had been to Di Qiuhe these past a few days, He Bai clenched his arms around Di Qiuhe’s body and said in a low voice, “Qiuhe, do you remember when we first met each other, I told you that I’m a fortune-teller?”

“Yeah, I told me I need to stay away from women and I have an inexorable doom that I need to work hard to fight against in my thirties or so... ...” replied Di Qiuhe in a half-jokingly manner, “And I guess you are right, I do need to stay away from women now that I want to spend the rest of my life with you.”

“Cut it off, I’m serious here.” He Bai gave Di Qiuhe another bite on his shoulder an continued, “Well, I’m not a fortune-teller, but I didn’t make that shit up, what I’ve told you was all in my dreams, in fragments though, the dream became complete recently.”

Thinking about all those prompt warnings He Bai had given him, Di Qiuhe frowned and he knew this was no joking matter, he asked in a gentle manner, “What dream? It looks like the dream is about me, hmm, let me guess, is it about our grand gay wedding?”

“Yeah you wish.” He Bai rolled his eyes on Di Qiuhe, “The first fragment is about you are pushed out of a building when you are in your thirties, and you are already a big shot, you have won several big awards and you have established Huading.”

“And you? What are you gonna do if I die?” Di Qiuhe clenched his arms around He Bai, he was more interested in finding out whether He Bai was going to be okay than his own death.
