Di Qiuhe and He Bai walked the red carpet along with the crew of “Immortal Way” on ceremony day, the love birds’ outfits were from V&G, watches were from the brand that Qiuhe was working with, Wild Bull.
The host and reporters for the red carpet walk asked Di Qiuhe questions regarding Di Chunhua and Qin Li just like they had expected, Qiuhe just smiled as a reply. He only answered questions regarding to “Immortal Way”, leaving the impression that he was here for his work and nothing else. The seats were arranged in advance, Di Qiuhe, however, changed seats with the assistant director so that he could sit next to He Bai, our poor female lead of “Immortal Way” was took it for granted that female lead and male lead were going to sit together... ...
He Bai tried to persuade Qiuhe to sit back next to the female lead, but Di Qiuhe had his way with He Bai, and suddenly He Bai’s talk derailed from that to where they should go for late night snack after the ceremony.
Director Lin Mo was sitting on the other side of Di Qiuhe, seeing the love birds’ interactions he smiled, He Bai was all his male lead cared. A Best Actor Award meant nothing to Di Qiuhe compared to his puppy.
The ceremony officially started at eight o’clock, the two stopped chatting and focusing on the ceremony.
The first category was “The Most Popular Rising Star”, sort of like an appetizer,  it was mainly to set the tone for the entire ceremony, the new artists would go on stage and express how grateful they were and how much they were looking forward to a new year in show business... ...
Followed by that were the awards for the crews, like “Best Director”, “Best Photographer”, “Best Original Song” and so on. “Immortal Way” crew slayed that category and became the biggest winner that night.
“Best Supporting Actress”, “Best Supporting Actor” and the most expected “Best Actress” and “Best Actor” were of course scheduled last.
After the presenting of “Best Actress”, He Bai sat up straight and became nervous because now it was time to present “Best Actor”.
He knew that Qiuhe won this award in his previous life, but still he was nervous for his Qiuhe, what if something went wrong, what if everything changed due to his rebirth? He knew he was over thinking and he was positive that Qiuhe’s amazing performance would outshine other entrants, but he couldn’t control the wild thoughts running in his mind.
“Are you peckish yet?” asked Di Qiuhe.

Di Qiuhe raised his eyebrows and caught hold of He Bai’ hand.
He Bai hastily withdrew his hand and gave Di Qiuhe a kick on the shin.
The hosts were welcoming the presenters while the two played around, He Bai soon turned around and stared at the stage, Di Qiuhe’s survival instinct told him that now was not a good timing to disturb him.
Both presenters were A list of the A list celebrities, Yu Hui, previous winner of “Best Actress”, Liu Lange, previous winner of “Best Actor.”
“What? Sister Hui and Liu Lange?” asked He Bai in surprise, he felt like he was dreaming, the two rarely attended any ceremony, how come the committee convinced them both for tonight?
There were certain rules in show business, normally huge movie stars like Yu Hui and Liu Lange would not attend ceremonies like this. But this day, they both showed up and they were about to present an award together, that was very rare!
Such splendid presenters took Di Qiuhe by surprise as well, but Yu Hui gave him a meaningful look from the stage while she was bantering with Liu Lange, Di Qiuhe smiled back.
“All right, with no further ado, ladies and gentlemen, let’s take a look of the clips of the entrants.” said Yu Hui with a big smile.
A video clip was now playing on the big screen, Di Qiuhe’s face showed up at last, it was a poster that He Bai took.
“Puppy, I look so good in that photo, thank you so much.” said Di Qiuhe cheekily.
While He Bai who felt his heart was pounding wished he could clap Di Qiuhe’s hand and get some peace, he was dying to find out whether his Qiuhe was going to win the award or not.
After the video clip, Liu Lange spoke highly of the entrants and he opened the envelop in hand and handed it to Yu Hui.
“The Best Actor Award goes to...”, said Yu Hui, with that she swept the audience with a bright smile, then she winked at He Bai, “Di Qiuhe!”
“Congratulations, Di Qiuhe!” said Yu Hui and Liu Lange.
Thunderous applause bursts out from the audience.
He Bai pounded the chair in excitement, then he stood up and gave Di Qiuhe a hug, while he whispered by Di Qiuhe’s ear, “Smile! Now! And don’t say stupid shit , or I will give you a good beating.”
Hearing that, Di Qiuhe smiled and he gave He Bai a kiss on the cheek, “I promise you I won’t say stupid shit.” with that he turned around and hugged Director Lin Mo.
He Bai was dumbfounded, ‘what had Childish done? In front of everyone?’
Director Lin Mo patted him gently and He Bai finally earthed himself, he was blushing crimson. Then he sat down like nothing had happened amid the curious gaze from the audience.
‘It’s okay, calm down, it’s no big deal. The kiss was just like a friendship kiss, plus it was just on the cheek, that’s completely fine. Plus, I have Xing Shaofeng, he surely can take care of this for me on media. It’s fine... ... it’s really (NOT) fine!”
