Episode 28 – Nightlight
About a third of the way through the exhibit, it was time for lunch.
So Yuzuru and Arisa decided to leave the museum and have lunch at a nearby park.
“Geez
”
But Arisa was upset with Yuzuru because of the incident with the stone stick a while ago.
This is why men are... is what she said.
It’s not that Yuzuru had no intention of making fun of Arisa 
so it’s a little hard to argue with her.
“I mean, come on
 It’s a serious exhibit, okay?”
“I’m not in middle school. Please don’t mock me for something like that
 What’s so funny about that?”
But it was Arisa who was angry at such a middle school thing.
Yuzuru chuckled.
“It was my fault. I’m sorry.”

Yes, it was Yuzuru-san’s fault.”
When Yuzuru apologized, Arisa looked a little vexed.
Perhaps I got a little too angry over a small thing

“It’s not like I’m fastidious or anything.”
As if to make some excuse, Arisa started to say something like that.

 But you can’t make fun of someone with it.”
However, it is not that she was so naĂŻve or fastidious that she got all red-faced in every health class.
If it’s purely academic, knowledgeable, or educational, she will not get upset.

“I get embarrassed when someone makes fun of me with that
 so please stop.”
She said with a hint of red in her cheeks.
Yuzuru looked at her face.

What is it?”
She asked with a dubious expression.
“No, I just thought that you are cute.”
Arisa puffed out her cheeks at Yuzuru’s words.
She then smacked him hard on the chest.
“Geez. Saying things like that
 you’re ridiculing me”
“No, I’m not ridiculing you
”
Of course, there was a bit of ridicule in it.
“I think Arisa is cute like that, and I like you.”
As Yuzuru said that

He kissed her cheek sneakily.
“Fu~e?”
For a moment, Arisa’s mouth gaped, as if she didn’t know what had happened.
Immediately, her white skin turned rose-colored.
“W-wa-wait
, you’re making fun of me immediately by saying that.”
“I’m not making fun of you. I mean it.”
A girl is more adorable when she’s a little shy.
Of course, Yuzuru might find it difficult if she is always shy.
Arisa seemed to have just the right amount of shyness.

 Maybe it seemed that way because he liked her.

After mumbling to herself, Arisa clenched her fists tightly.
She then leaned forward towards Yuzuru.
A soft something was pressed against Yuzuru’s cheek.

After saying that, Arisa turned red and turned her cheek away.
Then she spoke a little too quickly.
“Come on, let’s eat our lunch quickly. We haven’t been to all the exhibits in the museum yet.”
“That’s right.”
Then the two of them tucked into the homemade bento that Arisa had made.
Then, that night.
“Hey, Arisa.”
“Yes

Before bedtime.
Yuzuru spoke to Arisa again
“Actually, I need a favor, or rather have a proposal.”

Can’t we turn off the nightlight?”
Yuzuru and Arisa were sleeping in the same room.
And for the sake of Arisa, who can’t sleep without the nightlight, Yuzuru leaves the nightlight on.
However, he doesn’t usually turn on the night light.
Therefore
 he was a bit bothered.
In short, it was difficult to sleep when there was a nightlight on.

Arisa’s expression twitched at Yuzuru’s suggestion.

It’s not that he can’t sleep with the nightlight on.
If Arisa is afraid to sleep without a light, he was willing to go along with it.

“We’re going to be husband and wife, you know?”
Yuzuru was surprised by Arisa’s words.
Yes, the two of them were engaged to be married.
If they don’t change this, they’ll be sleeping with a nightlight on for the rest of their married life.

I think I should overcome it.”
“Yeah
 I’d be happy if you did. No, but it doesn’t mean I have to do it right now.”
Right now, though, they are staying together.
The two of them won’t start living together in earnest until after high school graduation at the earliest.
Depending on where they go to university, it may be after they graduate from college.
They still had a long way to go.
“No, they say good things come in haste
 And I’ve got a good idea.”
Arisa’s face was a little flushed as she said this.
There was a hint of nervousness in her expression, but no fear.

After saying so, Arisa said.
“Please sleep with me on the bed.”
