V4 – Episode 16 – Fiancée and Breakfast
“…z..z”
“Yuzuru-san.”
“Yuzuru-san.”
“…Hm?”
In the midst of his slumber, Yuzuru groggily opened his eyes.
As he opened his eyes, he saw a girl with a very well-rounded face looking into his face.
“Aris…sa?”
Yuzuru-san, it’s morning already.”
“Ah…”
Yuzuru slowly got up and gave a big yawn.
Then he turned to Arisa…
“…Eh? Arisa! …Why are you here?”
“…How long are you going to remain asleep?”
“It’s so extravagant to be able to eat your cooking in the morning.”
Yuzuru muttered to himself as he looked at the dishes laid out on the table.
The breakfast menu consisted of onigiri (rice balls), miso soup, shishamo mushrooms, and boiled spinach… It was an ideal Japanese breakfast.
“How’s the quantity?　If it’s not enough, I can cook an egg for you.”
“Um, no, that’s plenty… I don’t eat that much in the morning.”
“I see. Well, I guess I’ll stick with this amount from tomorrow on.”
The two of them put their hands together and began to eat their breakfast.
Yuzuru reached for the rice ball first.
The filling was dried plums.
The saltiness and the degree of grip were just right.
When I do it, it becomes too cramped…
Yuzuru thought as he bit into his rice ball.
“What kind of ingredients do you like in your rice balls, Yuzuru-san?”
“What do I like? Well.. let’s see. If it’s from the convenience store, I’ll buy salmon… What about you?”
“I like tuna mayo.”
Ah… that’s tasty, isn’t it?”
“It looks high in calories, but I still buy it.”
“A lot of good food has a lot of calories in it.”
“That’s true.”
The two of them ate breakfast in harmony, talking about rice balls.
Halfway through the meal, they had a disagreement over whether cod roe is better grilled or raw, but they managed to finish the meal.
Then the two of them finished washing the dishes, brushed their teeth, and changed their clothes…
“Shall we go then?”
“Yes.”
With their luggage in one hand, they left the house.
After a few dozen minutes on the train, what they arrived at was a health spa that had just opened.
“It’s surprisingly big.”
“It’s splendid…”
Yuzuru and Arisa muttered as they looked up at the building.
After entering the facility, the first thing they saw was a large hall.
It smelled a bit peculiar.
The place seemed to be thriving in its own way, and there were customers besides Yuzuru and Arisa.
However, it was not that crowded.
It didn’t seem to be a hindrance to swimming.
The clientele included the elderly and families.
There were not many young couples.
“It is a little early for the meet-up time… right?”
“Yes, it is. Let’s wait a bit.”
Yuzuru and Arisa sat down on the sofa.
Since they were bored and unoccupied, they decided to look at the brochure together.
“Wow… Besides the pool, there are also baths, Jacuzzis, and saunas?”
“Fitness, foot massages, massage chairs …and even hand massages if you make a reservation.”
There also seemed to be other facilities such as a food court.
It also said that they occasionally held events such as yoga classes and swimming classes.
“I wonder if this bath is to be taken… in swimsuits?”
“I think so.　It looks like it’s connected to the pool.”
“…Then we can go in together, right.”
Arisa smiled at him.
Yuzuru’s heart skipped a beat.
“Since we’re here, why don’t we try something else as well?”
“Yes, let’s. I’d like to try a massage.”
“…Don’t forget I’m here to teach you how to swim, okay?”
“…I know, okay?”
Arisa’s expression twitched at Yuzuru’s words.
Apparently, she had forgotten.
“I want to be able to swim twenty-five meters by the time pool class starts.”
“Well, you’re athletic, so I think you’ll be fine…”
“…I have a feeling that people don’t float in water.”
“That’s a classic line from someone who can’t swim…”
“I mean, I am someone who can’t swim.”
Arisa pouted as she said that.
Yuzuru couldn’t help but chuckle.
“Well, don’t worry. By the end of the day, at least, you should be able to float. I’ll guide you every step of the way.”
“I don’t mind if you guide me. Just don’t touch somewhere weird, okay?”
Arisa hugged her body and looked at him.
Yuzuru cowered his shoulders.
“When you say weird places… I wouldn’t know unless you tell me specifically.”
“…So, are you going to make me say that? You’re a pervert, aren’t you?”
Arisa then looked at Yuzuru with a fierce glare.
“…Can I not touch at all?”
“No… This is a public place.”
“What if it’s not a public place?”
“That’s…”
“Can you please stop flirting in public places?”
With a sigh, such a voice could be heard.
When Yuzuru and Arisa turned around, they saw a tall, raven-haired girl standing there.
“I’m starting to get a little nervous about showing you guys around.”
Nagiri Tenka said with an exasperated expression.
