He bit his bottom lip and removed his hand from his abdomen. He crumpled the paper with Yoonshinâs name on it and chucked it behind his sofa.
He heard the ball of paper land, then he relaxed his limbs, letting himself slump like slime. He leaned his head back and took deep breaths to calm down.
So far, he had felt a sort of covetous desire bubbling within him whenever he saw Yoonshin, but this was the first time he felt a wave of lust surging from his lower half.
He didnât suddenly feel this way, and he didnât drink that much then. The feelings that he had bottled up inside boiled over, and he felt it becoming increasingly difficult to keep those feelings in. Sehun was awkward when it came to emotions, but he did know how to differentiate between them.
âDid our lips touch?â
Sehun said no to that question, but they both knew that the tip of Sehunâs tongue had touched Yoonshinâs lips. If Mihee hadnât come in then, Sehun would have probably done a lot more than that. He wasnât going to deny it on the inside. At that time, he didnât just want to kiss Yoonshin, he wanted to have s*x with him. Perhaps even to this day, after two days had passed since then.
At first, he thought this desperate thirst for attention and discomfort stemmed from the trauma when a child, who he treated like his younger sibling, died. Â He assumed that the small scars left behind when he couldnât take care of those close to him manifested in a vexatious direction when he saw Yoonshin hiding in the corner to cry after losing someone dear to his heart. That was why he was so bothered by Yoonshin. It was almost like, through Yoonshin, he was acknowledging and staring straight into his weakness that he was hiding all along.
But now he knew that wasnât the case. Sehun simply was hyperaware of everything about Yoonshin Do.
As his mind shifted to his present emotions, he suddenly had a thought that made him quite bothered.
âDo I happen to think of that fool inâŠâ As if to cut off his thoughts, he sat up before that thought could be completed.
He couldnât simply shake off the thought. This premonition had to be false. Yet the nagging feeling that the opposite would be true kept swelling up in his throat.
He couldnât explore his feelings any longer. He learned things that he didnât need to know, and he felt like the thoughts that he shouldnât be caught having were going to be exposed.
In the end, he didnât look back and ran away from his study.

Sehun rushed out of his office while looking at his watch but ran into the associate lawyer who was waiting for him at his door. Of all people, it was the person Sehun didnât want to meet the most, so his forehead creased in a frown.
âWhat?â Sehun snapped.
âSenior Attorney, I heard you were going to a client meeting.â Yoonshin looked into Sehunâs eyes, who did not welcome the present situation. Yoonshin was asking for a bit of his time. One eyebrow twitched, but Sehun then turned away coldly, treating Yoonshin like he was invisible.
Sehun headed toward the secretaryâs office and gestured to Secretary Tak. This time, Yoonshin stepped in front of Sehun, completely blocking his way. He waved the envelope in his hands leisurely. âYou said you needed this, so I prepared it for you.â
âDid my legal secretary change without my knowledge? The operation of this place is a mess.â
âIâm sorry, but Iâm still a lawyer. I also have something to tell you.â
âIâm not that free to have a one-on-one meeting with an associate when they need me. Take your number and line up.â
âItâll only be a minute. Â Iâll accompany you to the parking lot instead of Secretary Tak. Your driver is waiting downstairs. After you.â
Angrily glowering at Secretary Tak, Sehun passed his briefcase to Yoonshin reluctantly.
Yoonshin barely managed to catch the bag which was pushed roughly into his flat chest. He pattered off behind Sehun, who was walking ahead. After following close behind, he quickened his pace upon seeing the elevator grow closer. Yoonshin then sprinted ahead to catch the elevator. He then gestured for Sehun to get on. Sehun didnât even look in Yoonshinâs direction as he got into the elevator.
The two stood side by side, and the door closed firmly.
Until a moment ago in the hallway, busy employees were going about their way, so it didnât feel awkward, but now that they were alone, a strange current flowed between them. This was probably the first time they were together in a closed space after last weekâs incident at the bar.
