“Weiwei, what are you saying? You’re blaming me?”
“Yes!” Shen Weiwei continued, “I’m blaming you. You obviously knew how hard it was for me in the entertainment industry. All my resources had to be snatched with my own bare hands, and you? You’re clearly a member of the Lu family; you have so many resources available to you yet you refuse to even help me. Is this the love you’re talking about? Do you even regard me as your girlfriend?”
Lu Liting gazed at Shen Weiwei in disbelief, as if he had never known her before. “You told me previously that you didn’t care about who I was, and that you didn’t mind whether or not I had any money; you loved me as a person, and that we don’t have to rely on my family and that we’ll rely on ourselves to make a living. Did you forget that?”
“I didn’t forget.” Shen Weiwei calmly looked at him. “But Liting, I’m your girlfriend. You obviously have the power to make things better for me so how could you bear to let me suffer?”

” Lu Liting’s words were caught in his throat.
“If you truly love me, then you wouldn’t just watch me suffer and not do anything about it. Lu Liting, you don’t even love me as much as you think.” Shen Weiwei inhaled deeply. “Since I’ve said it to this point today, then let’s make things clear in one go. Lu Liting, let’s break up.”
Lu Liting dazedly stood at the same spot. He looked at Shen Weiwei in disbelief. “Break up? Because

Shen Weiwei turned her head away and didn’t answer.
Gu Shaoyu coldly hmphed. He pushed Lu Liting away and held Shen Weiwei’s hand. “Lu Liting, Weiwei has already made things very clear to you. If you’re still a man, then don’t bother Weiwei anymore.”
Ji Qingqing leaned on Lu Lixing. She gave a bored yawn and her eyes were teary. “Hubby, why does your younger brother’s brain contain different things from yours?”
Lu Lixing’s brow tightened and he didn’t answer. He adjusted his suit button, stood up, and questioned, “Are you done?”
His sharp gaze swept across the three of them. Lu Lixing’s voice was deep and powerful. “You’re in public. Don’t you find this embarrassing?”
They all stopped and fell silent.
