Tamago: Haha! Many thanks to Ezgi for their donations~! You get another early chapter today~!
Ok, Tamago stands here in black and white before you to make a confession. I have made another translation error: Some âFlashâ are actually not âFlashâ when it comes to assassin-class demons. They are called âTeleportâ.
Teleport generally cost lesser time than running, whereas Flash costs no time. This is an ability unique to assassins.
Please forgive me for this mistake I hope you enjoy this chapter!

The perspective of the livestream is from a birdâs eye view where nothing can evade it and both partiesâ locations are clearly displayed. (E/N: KnB intensifies)
Nevertheless, in the split second where Frozen Heart insta-killed Peacock Plume, both live commentators of the Preliminaries are struck speechless.
The reason for this is simple â In that split moment where Frozen Heart was lurching towards Peacock Plume, he never once stopped!
What does this mean?
Itâs either this was an unintentional gank, and Frozen Heart was solely able to catch up purely by chance;
Or Frozen Heartâs player GF calculated the exact amount of time required to Flash over.
That said, how much control must one have over the match, to be able to arrive right as Faarâs mana is depleted, accurately linking up to Peacock Plume and collecting her head?!
ăHow exactly did this happen? How did Frozen Heart arrive here?ăCandyâs tone is as if sheâs saying âWho am I? Where am I?â ăLetâs take a look at the replay of events just now!ă
The unforeseen assassination from just now is displayed on the screen.
In the beginning, one can only see Faar dodging Peacock Plumeâs barrage of attacks while continuously spamming her 2nd ability. Her mana was depleting at a hair-rising pace then. Obviously, the end was in sight.
On the other hand, Frozen Heart finished clearing the jungle monsters and directly flew towards the Mid-Lane. The snow-white silhouette made a pencil-sharp trail as he closed in on Peacock Plumeâs position. Right before he made his first step into the bushes, he released his 2nd ability Snow Allure, linking right to his target â the Peacock Plume who was backing away at that last instant.
And then, from behind, he swiftly instakills!
ăWe can see here that starting from the moment Frozen Heart stepped into the battlefield to the moment he finished his assassination, he never once hesitated throughout â This is a wholly intentional gank!ăHalfling concludes.
ăYes, that seems to be the case.ă Candy backs him up. ăReplay the video for a second. Yup. Stop right there. Almost at the same time where Frozen Heart begins making his way towards the Mid Lane, Faar also retreated. She was kiting. I suppose itâs at this specific moment that Leaf received some sort of instruction.ă
ăThis is too spectacular!ăHalfling canât help exclaiming.ăIt shouldnât be left unsaid. This is a play which only PG is capable of. Itâs way too risky! If there was even the most minute mistake, Faar would have been counter-killed. At his level, Frozen Heart totally wouldnât have been able to take any damage. A 2-for-1 this early in the game is totally not worth it!ă
ăBut PG did it!ăCandy should originally explain things from Blinkâs perspective, engaging in a to-and-fro with Halfling, but her mind is now filled with that fine play from just now. ăYe Ziâs motion control is good. GFâs instakill is also good. They totally exhibited the strength of a Top 8! I think that so long as PG keeps up this momentum, this seasonâs PGL is sure to be quite interesting!ă
While the two were commentating, Ye Hongâs Faar had already replenished her mana at the turret, heading back to the Mid Lane to engage in a battle of creeps and gold with the revived Peacock Plume.
Frozen Heart also finishes cleaning the Top Jungle of its monsters. In the process, as the enemy Jungler is charging out to gank the solo-laner, he boldly lunges out to encircle the enemy, cowing the foe into fleeing.
Guessing that the enemy Jungler is planning to kill the Top Jungleâs last monster then gank the mid-laner, Jing Yu smiles serenely: âYe Zi. Again.â
His tone is especially relaxed, entirely lacking the rigidness from their previous practice matches. Obviously, he doesnât care the slightest least about this unknown, unseen, and unheard of team.
If others are the one displaying such a behaviour, itâs called âunderestimationâ. Yet when Jing Yu is the one like this, itâs called âvictoryâs already in their handsâ.
This point makes Qin Fei feel particularly intrigued â The match has only ensued for a couple of minutes, how is Jing Yu able to determine the difference in their strength so quickly?
Because the truth does indeed tell Qin Fei, Jing Yu is truly able to determine it accurately:
System: ăFrozen Heart, First Kill!ă
System: ăThe enemy Peacock Plume has been slain!ă
System: ăFrozen Heart, Double Kill!ă
System: ăThe enemy Burial Sword has been slain!ă
This time, when Jing Yu heads out to gank the Mid Lane, not only did he manage to successfully instakill the Mage, he even collected the head of the enemy Jungler who came to help on the way.
Qin Fei canât resist a low chuckle. Ye Hong is already actively boasting: âSo savage ah, Little Goldfish!â
Luo Yiming canât hold back from saying: âGoldfish, donât just focus on the Mid Lane, come to the Bottom Lane too ma**! The enemy marksman retreated at just the half-blood mark. How boring is that?!â
(**ma ĺ: a whining sound at the back)
âWhatâs so bad about that?â Jing Yu doesnât even turn his head, âI see youâre pushing the towers quite well ah? Donât forget, this is a tower toppling game!â
Luo Yiming instantly turns into a pufferfish, sulking softly: âHow can toppling towers compare to collecting headsâŚâ
As the Mid Lane has been ganked once, Halfling and Candy were both ready for this 0 for 2. As a matter of fact, when Frozen Heart took to the Mid Lane, Halfling was already running his mouth off:
ăFrozen Heart is headed to the Mid Lane again. Is he getting ready to gank Peacock Plume once more? Faar retreated! Peacock Plume Ults, but still misses! Faar pulls close! And he eats Peacock Plumeâs Radiant Light to the faceâŚâŚ With this, Faar is now at low HP! But Faar still attacks! Frozen Heart links up!!!ă
A brilliant live commentator is able to use his own voice to move the audienceâs hearts. Clearly, in this regard, Halfling performs very well.
Following his increasingly emotional tone, the bullet comments shooting across the livestreamâs screen drastically reduced. Almost everybodyâs hands stopped what they were doing. Bating their breaths, they keep their eyes peeled for the next series of events.
ăFrozen Heart, first kill!ăHalfling is nearly screaming out this line.
Yet, right as that fight finishes, they spot Burial Sword Teleporting out from a bush, heading directly for the low HP Faar. Nearly at the same time, Faar forks out a Flash to slip back within the base of his turret, narrowly dodging a killing blow. Frozen Heart immediately lunges at Burial Sword, opening a dogfight with him!
The Top Squishy is challenging the Top Jungler, what is the result?
ăBurial Sword Ults, Frozen Heart dodges! Frozen Heart links up to Burial Sword! He closes in, he Ults, and he CCâs him!!!ăHalfling thinks his own voice is going hoarse from all this hollering, ăBurial Swordâs blood bar is plunging at a dangerous speed! He regains freedom, and immediately uses Flash to escape. Frozen Heart also forks out a Flash without a momentâs pause to tower-dive. He ganks! He double-kills!!!ă
Candy: ăMy God, this really isâŚâŚă
Halfling: ăFrozen Heart safely evacuates the turret! That was a spectacular 0 for 2! âŚâŚAlright, we are now showing a replay of that 0 for 2 just now. This really is too inspiring! PGâs side didnât make any mistakes. This player, GF, appears to have a good foresight. His grasp over Blinkâs movements is as if heâs got them running in the palm of his hand. This is way too unbelievable!ă
Candy: ăThatâs right ah. If not for the fact that the livestreamâs lagging by a few minutes, Iâd still think heâs peeking on us!ă
Halfling: ăUhm, cheating by peeking should be impossible⌠However, itâs true there exists some amount of risk within online tournaments. Therefore, in the stages after this, those teams that manage to get into the Elimination Round shall play offline.ă
Candy: ăReally? Why didnât I hear about that?ă
Halfling: ăIn that case, you must have not taken a look at the ăDemon LordăOfficialsâ Weibo last night.ă
ăAh, did the game officials announce it?ăCandyâs eyes light up. ăIn other words, we will soon see the real faces of the pro-gamers then?ă
Halfling: ăIndeed, youâre right! I really want to know whether team PG looks as savage as we imagine them ne. Hahaha!ă
Having watched up to this point, Fang Luofan feels there isnât any more question about the result of this match.
As a pro-gamer team, Blinkâs foundations havenât been stabilized yet; many of their players still make mistakes in their performance.
If even he noticed these problems, Jing Yu would have undoubtedly seen through them much earlier. Afterall, Jing Yu is a person who is extremely sensitive to gold. Just by looking at the rate of Blinkâs progress in gathering gold, he would surely have come to that conclusion.
Since there isnât any pressure in winning this match, Fang Luofan no longer considers the match seriously. He turns on the bullet comments.
The instant he removes the filter, heâs flooded by a whole screen of âFrozen Heart's.
ăThis Frozen Heart is 666**!ă
(**666 / 6 = Amazing~! ; Not = Hell)
ăThis Frozen Heartâs got to be a fake one!ă
ăFrozen Heart, gogogo! Goldfish, gogogo!ă
Following closely, somebody asks âGoldfishâ is who? Immediately, a bunch of people shoot back the bullet ă@Gold Fish not Salted Fishă.
Thus, the entire live stream is covered by a mob of ă@Gold Fish not Salted Fishăthereafter.
Frozen Heartâs reputationâŚâŚ Is he really that popular?
Fang Luofan retains his flabbergasted expression as he scrolls down to look at the comments below the livestream. Unexpectedly, majority of the comments are also about Frozen Heart:
ăMy familyâs sweetie pie finally isnât a Flower Vase anymore! These eyes are brimming with tears!ă
ăIâve decided! From today onwards, Iâll play Frozen Heart!ă
Visit lightnovelreader[.]com for extra chapters.
ăThereâs already a single and double kill. Will there be a triple kill, quadrakill and pentakill?!ă
ăIâve seen this anchorâs videos before. Still thought it was all fake. But I didnât expect his Frozen Heart to really be so 6!ă
Fang Luofan is just scrolling through the comments when he suddenly hears a cry of shock coming from his earphones. Itâs from the live commentator, Candy.
He instinctively goes back to the livestream video, just in time to catch the Systemâs announcement,ăFrozen Heart, Triple Kill!ă
What situation is this?!
Halfling: ăFrozen Heart triple killed?! What happened there!?ă
Evidently, even the live commentator Halfling is also at a loss.
However, the blame also cannot be laid on him. Just a few minutes ago, he saw Frozen Heart jungling uneventfully in the Bottom Jungle and so turned his gaze to the current solo-laner Qin Fei, wanting to see how he performs after the switch in positions. Yet, unexpectedly, within a matter of seconds, Frozen Heart actually ganked three demons in the Bottom Lane?!
Thankfully, there is still the replay to show him what they missed â On the display, Frozen Heart was indeed jungling as he was supposed to. However, just as he finished off the last monster, he seemed to suddenly realize something, floating down in the direction of the Bottom Lane.
His single 2nd ability directly skips past the wall to hook up to the enemy marksman. Pulling himself over, he slashes off the marksmanâs remaining blood with a single AA, then continues to use his newly refreshed Teleport to link up to the enemy support. Having dodged the enemyâs CC, he pulls himself close, yet doesnât actually attack. Instead, he charges into the nearby bush and unleashes his Ult!
Having just rushed over, Burial Sword hasnât even managed to make one move before heâs frozen solid in the bushes. At the mercy of Frozen Heart, heâs finished off with a series of attacks from Frozen Heart.
History always astonishes people with its repetition â in yet another face off between these two junglers, Burial Swordâs defeat is once again the one thatâs announced.
At this moment, the enemy support Jinghua Shuiyue is also assaulted by Luo Yimingâs Centaur. After ganking Burial Sword, Frozen Heart swiftly heads over to finish with an AA, easily collecting his head.
Just like that, Frozen Heart accomplished a triple kill within a short space of time, totally not allowing people the time to react!
This seamless procession doesnât allow Halfling to explain step by step at all. Thankfully, heâs been a live commentator for many years. He quickly locks on the key to this 0 for 3:
ăItâs right here! Burial Sword appeared once in the Mid Lane! Although it was only for a split second, it didnât escape GFâs notice. He immediately guessed that Burial Swordâs heading down to gank the marksman!ă
ăSo he gave up on jungling, and he headed down to make the first move!ăCandy finally reacts,ăCome to think of it, this is still the first time heâs heading down the Bottom Lane ne!ă
Halfling: ăPlayer GF really is too unbelievable. Itâs either he doesnât gank, or the moment he ganks, a bunch of heads are sent flying!ă
Just like that, the livestreamâs covered by an insane collection ofăA bunch of heads sent flying!ăbullets again.
In the eyes of the audience, Jing Yuâs triple-kill is indeed awe-inspiring. It shouldnât even need to be said how using Frozen Heart, ăDemon Lordăâs Top Flower Vase, heightens that.
However, being their Coach, Fang Luofan has some traces of suspicion on his face after seeing that display.
Based on what he sees, Jing Yu totally didnât need to head down the Bottom Lane. Itâs not as if Luo Yiming and Han Leng are vegetarians**. The enemy marksman and support were only left with a thin sliver of blood. They are completely able to off them. Even if they had no way of laying the approaching Burial Sword to rest with them, itâs not as if theyâd be threatened. Frozen Heart should still be able to clear the last monsters without disruption.
(**Vegetarians ĺç´ : refers to the carnivore and herbivore men archetype where carnivorous men are more accomplished and ruthless, leading them to be Alphas, while herbivore men are Betas, second choice and inferior)
What the hell are they doing?
âWhat else can they be doing? Theyâre messing around ah!
Luo Yiming: âHAHAHA, Triple Kills! , weâre aiming for Quadrakill!â
Ye Hong: âWhen Burial Sword revives, Iâll kite Peacock Plume down to you!â
Luo Yiming: âThe moment my Bow is out, Iâll make a sieve out of them with my attacks!â
Ye Hong: âAnd then Iâll follow it with my Ultimate! Make them have a good swim in a sea of flames!â
Han Leng: ââŚâŚThe two of you, back off a little ah. Donât steal Goldfishâs kill.â
Luo Yiming: âWe wonât, we wonât. Hahaha, I really want to see the enemyâs expressions now!â
Jing Yu smiles helplessly â I shall go wild with you guysâŚâŚ
But he feels so happy ah~
Qin Fei whoâs sitting by the side slants his head and glances at Jing Yu. He smiles indulgently.
