As such, as luck would have it, she ended up pregnant with his child .  

By that point, there was a hint of not-so-noticeable excitement on Zhou Fu’s very complicated look . That was an added bonus to this investigation . It didn’t matter how it happened, but the child was still Mr . Lu’s flesh and blood .  

“I have also looked into what happened afterward . ” Seeing how Lu Shao never looked up when he mentioned the child, he wasn’t sure what was going through his mind . Zhou Fu felt uncertain and proceeded cautiously . “We did not find any record of Miss Su giving birth in a hospital nor were we able to locate the child’s birth certificate, but I was able to find a police report .

“Per the record, Miss Su gave birth to a male baby approximately 13 years ago . Due to the unusual circumstances, the police station helped process the child’s household registry . \n“In addition, I’ve sent the child’s DNA sample along with Sir’s to the Lu’s medical center and labeled it urgent . ”

As Lu Shao’s right-hand man, Zhou Fu’s work has always been very thorough . He would never report anything to Lu Shao before it has been confirmed .  

As such, when he found out about the child, as much as he was very emotional, he had sent others to look into him . He was able to obtain Su Han’s DNA sample from the school’s physical examination . And the result came back exactly like he had suspected .  

The boy was, without a doubt, Lu Shao’s child .  

“Here’s the DNA test . ” Zhou Fu placed the DNA report in front of Lu Shao as he spoke .  

“Mmm . ” Lu Shao glanced over the cover of the DNA report but had no intention of flipping it open . He had already guessed it . He only sent Zhou Fu to look into it for confirmation .  \nSome of the details surprised Lu Shao, but it was more or less what he had expected overall .  

On this side, Zhou Fu had no idea that Lu Shao only asked him to look into the incident after he had met Su Han . Seeing that Lu Shao merely glanced over the report and didn’t even open it up, Zhou Fu wasn’t sure what to make of it .  

Perhaps, Mr . Lu really disliked the child?

Zhou Fu was worried .  

He had been with Lu Shao for many years, watching him mature and becoming stronger and more powerful . Zhou Fu felt that Lu Shao was good in every respect except when it came to family .  \nThe Lu’s have plenty of individuals in the next generation and there was no shortage of someone who could be the next house master, but Zhou Fu still wished that Lu Shao could have his own flesh and blood, which was why he was so emotional when he found out about Su Han .  

The results of the investigation on Su Han had been positive .  

When he found out that Su Han’s mother wasn’t the woman that was arranged by the Lu’s side branch, Zhou Fu was more ready to accept Su Ran .  

Unfortunately, what he had learned about Su Ran afterwards was all very… Disappointing .

Luckily, Su Han was still a very good child .  

“Sir, the kid’s name is Su Han . ”

Having said that, Zhou Fu carefully observed the look on Lu Shao . Zhou Fu was finally able to let out a sigh of relief when he noticed that there was no unpleasantness or resentment coming from Lu Shao . In fact, his look had become milder .  

“Su Han is 13 years old this year and is a freshman at No . 7 Junior High School . Here’s everything we have on him . ” Having said that, Zhou Fu laid out the very detailed report on Su Han on the desk in front of Lu Shao .  

“From what we have found out . Su Han is a very good kid . ”

Zhou Fu, having no idea that his boss had long since known of Su Han and even went as far as reading Su Han’s file as school and read through all of the awards that he had received since grade school in detail, bragged to Lu Shao, “Su Han has excellent grades . He scored very high on his entrance examination into No . 7 High School . He is very smart in other ways as well and very good with his hands . He had even won silver medals in the City B’s creative competitions when he was in elementary school and middle school…”

Even though Lu Shao had already learned about all those things, he had no intention of stopping Zhou Fu as he listed out each and every single one of them .  

As he listened to Zhou Fu, he also flipped through the stack of documents that was placed in front of him .
