When Su Ran walked out of the school building, she saw Su Han standing there and leaning up against the stairs with his backpack in tow .  

Even though he had his head lowered right now and radiated the aura of do-not-come-close-to-me, he was still handsome as usual .  

Per Su Ran’s observation, just in that little bit of time, at least 7 little girls had already peeked at him .  

Look at this . He’s handsome, has good grades, mature, and filial . Exactly how blind was the author of the original novel to be able to make this perfect child into a big villain?

As luck would have it, Su Han happened to look up at this moment and saw Su Ran .  \n“How come you came?” asked Su Han, turning his head sideways a little bit .  

The displeased look and the disgusted tone .  

Had Su Ran not happened to see that quick flash of light in Su Han’s eyes and the slight rise of the corners of his mouth, she would almost fall for the front that her son was totally disgusted by this mother of his .  

Even little kids needed to maintain their ego, so Su Ran decided against pointing that out .  

“Your teacher called and informed me about the parent-teacher conference today and stressed that it was very important so I’ve decided to come,” said Su Ran as she smiled and looked at Su Han .  

“I just chatted a bit with your class teacher . What’s up? Have you been waiting long for me?”

Hearing Su Ran’s words, Su Han paused for a bit then stubbornly looked away from her .  \n“Who said I am waiting for you?”

“Oh? Is that so? So you weren’t waiting for me,” said Su Ran with feigned disappointment .  

“Alright, then who are you waiting for? You little girlfriend?”

“What girlfriend? I don’t have one . Stop with the nonsense . ”

“Is that so?” Seeing his awkward look and how he was anxiously trying to explain himself, Su Ran tried hard not to laugh . “What a bummer . ”

“But, if there’s any girl that you like, it’s okay to date,” said Su Ran as she blinked at Su Han .  

She’s an open-minded mother . It’d be perfectly okay for him to have a girlfriend or whatever, as long as she wasn’t the male lead’s precious daughter .  \n“I’ve already said that I don’t have one!”

Alright, so you don’t have one . Then what were you blushing for?

Kids nowadays mature fast . She should be able to joke around with a boy Su Han’s age, shouldn’t she?

Su Ran thought about it for a little and felt that her villain son was quite conservative . She should gauge what she could say to him . She wouldn’t want to go too far with him now .  

“Okay then,” said Su Ran as she waved her hand . “If you are not waiting for your little girlfriend, then you can go home with me now, right? Schoolmate Su Han?”

“Yeah, let’s go . ” Su Han nodded . In order to not let her discover the little bit of pride on his face, he took a step forward first .  

After he had taken a couple of steps, Su Han slowed down and walked side by side with Su Ran . But, as though he didn’t want others to see the look on him right now, he kept his head very low .  

Okay, so he might look cool with his head down, but could he really see the road in front of him walking like that? 

While Su Ran was criticizing him in her head and pondering about how to approach him to correct the way that he walked, she suddenly heard Su Han say, “You are wearing my shoes . ”

Su Ran, “……”

And you are just now noticing that?

Su Ran had gotten rid of all the original owner’s stilettos that could rival the top 10 torture implements and had been wearing Su Han’s pair of sneakers that he left at home .

She had never changed out of it because she hasn’t had time to go and buy new shoes . Also, she didn’t have the money .  

The 1,000 yuan that she made the other day at the Song’s had been used on improving a few meals for Su Han and the rest went to this outfit that she had on today .
