After Ning Junyan ate briefly, he lay down on the sofa and fell asleep.
But he insisted on sleeping with Chen Yuncheng in his arms. The two of them squeezed together on the narrow leather sofa, facing each other, with Ning Junyan using his arms to hold Chen Yuncheng in his arms.
Chen Yuncheng felt that it was too crowded and thought it would be difficult to fall asleep, but because he was too tired, he fell asleep unconsciously, leaning against Ning Junyan’s arms.

Chen Yuncheng said, “Let’s sleep in a different position.”
Ning Junyan opened his eyes, his expression was still unclear. He just looked straight at Chen Yuncheng and said, “What position do you like?”
Chen Yuncheng smiled, pretending not to understand the meaning of his words, raised his hand and touched his face, “I’m afraid I’ll crush you. Your brain is already bad; what if something else happens to your body?”
Ning Junyan said, “Then you’ll be responsible.”
Despite what he said, Ning Junyan didn’t hold on for too long. He hugged Chen Yuncheng for a while, then let go and got up from the sofa together with him.
Ning Junyan went out for a while, and when he returned, he said to Chen Yuncheng, “Let’s go back first.”
Chen Yuncheng asked him, “Don’t you need to keep watch here tonight?”
Ning Junyan shook his head, “He’s still in the ICU, and his family members can’t go in to take care of him, and Director Yu is on duty tonight, he will handle the situation properly.”

They had just walked two steps and saw Shu Rong in the corridor leading to the ward.
Shu Rong was still wearing the dress from last night, with a coat over it, and no makeup on her face, but her hair had been combed again.
Her gaze fell on Ning Junyan’s hand that was holding Chen Yuncheng’s.
Chen Yuncheng just moved his fingers, and Ning Junyan held them even tighter.

Shu Rong raised her eyes to look at Ning Junyan, “Aren’t you going back to accompany mom tonight?”
Ning Junyan said, “I need to have a good rest. Aunt is at home. If you really can’t sleep well, you can ask aunt to come and accompany you. I can’t stay with you all night now.”
Shu Rong asked, “Does Yuncheng still live at your place?”
Ning Junyan frowned lightly and said to Shu Rong, “Don’t interfere in my private affairs.”
Shu Rong’s tone was a little tired, “Your father is still lying in the ICU, and you want to talk to your mother like this?”
Ning Junyan said, “Dad is still lying in the ICU. It’s even more pointless for us to talk about this now. Why don’t we all go back early and rest so that we can have energy tomorrow.” After he said that, he took Chen Yuncheng’s hand and walked forward.

They went to take the elevator directly down to the underground parking lot of the hospital.
Chen Yuncheng didn’t feel too good and said to Ning Junyan in the elevator, “Why don’t you send Auntie back first?”
Ning Junyan said, “Don’t worry. Someone will pick her up.”
Chen Yuncheng wanted to say something but stopped.
Ning Junyan asked him, “What do you want to say?”
Chen Yuncheng hesitated but said, “She’s your mother after all; there’s no need to make things so stiff.”
Ning Junyan replied, “It’s not stiff. Our relationship has always been like this.”
When the elevator arrived, they walked out one after the other. Chen Yuncheng followed Ning Junyan and said to him, “Your mother will definitely object when she finds out about us.”
Ning Junyan’s car was parked in the parking space not far from the elevator. He took out the car key from his pocket to unlock the door and said, “It’s none of her business.”
Chen Yuncheng paused momentarily before following him again, “Then whose business is it?”
Ning Junyan said, “It’s no one’s business but yours and mine.”
After they got into the car, Chen Yuncheng gave up his original idea of going back to the store and followed Ning Junyan directly home.
After Chen Yuncheng took a shower in the evening, he folded his suit in his pyjamas and put it in a bag, ready to send it to be washed tomorrow.
He had wrinkled this set of clothes, and he couldn’t help but feel heartbroken at the thought of buying it for two thousand dollars.
Ning Junyan was still in the bathroom. Chen Yuncheng felt sorry for him because he worked too hard, so he put hot water in the bathtub for him to soak in. The bathroom was now quiet and silent, without a sound.
Chen Yuncheng waited for a while and felt a little uneasy. He opened the door and went in to see Ning Junyan lying in the bathtub with his head leaning against the outside of the bathtub, and his eyes closed as if he was asleep.
He walked over gently, squatted down outside the bathtub, and reached out to touch Ning Junyan’s face.
Ning Junyan opened his eyes, glanced at him through the hazy mist, and reached out to hug him in.
Chen Yuncheng hurriedly struggled, he didn’t have many clothes left here with Ning Junyan, only this set of pyjamas now, and said, “I won’t have any clothes to wear tonight if they get wet.”
Ning Junyan said lazily, “You don’t need to wear clothes.”
Chen Yuncheng smiled, “Nonsense.”
Ning Junyan maintained the posture of lying in the bathtub, bare his body in front of Chen Yuncheng indifferently, and stroked Chen Yuncheng’s hair with his wet palm.
Chen Yuncheng rolled up his sleeves and lay on the bathtub’s edge with his arms folded.
Ning Junyan said, “You promised me yesterday that you would move back.”
Chen Yuncheng asked him, “I promised you?”
Ning Junyan let out an “En”.
Chen Yuncheng thought for a while and said seriously, “It’s not that I don’t want to live with you, but this is too far from the market, and I’m too busy at work to take care of it. I’ll move some things over and come over every day whenever I’m free, and when you’re on duty, or I’m too busy until it’s too late, I’ll sleep in the shop. What do you think?”
Ning Junyan didn’t answer, his hand still resting on Chen Yuncheng’s head as his eyes slowly swept over the entire bathroom.

Ning Junyan said, “Let’s change the house, somewhere more convenient for you.”
Chen Yuncheng said, “No need. It costs money and energy.”
Ning Junyan said, “We can install a big bathtub in the bathroom.”
Chen Yuncheng asked him with a smile, “What else do you have in mind?”
Ning Junyan was really giving it a thought, “Putting mirrors on all four walls and the ceiling of the bedroom?”
“Are you crazy?” Chen Yuncheng smiled, “Won’t you be afraid at night?”
Ning Junyan said, “Afraid of what?”
“I’m afraid you are not in your right mind,” he reached out to touch the water in the bathtub, it was much cooler than before, so he said, “Stop soaking, get up.”
Ning Junyan stretched out his hands towards him.
Chen Yuncheng stood up, grabbed his hand and pulled him up from the bathtub, reached out and handed him the towel. He then bent down to drain the water in the bathtub.
Ning Junyan wiped the water on his chest and back with a towel, and asked Chen Yuncheng, “Why don’t you carry me up?”
Chen Yuncheng said, “You should dry your body quickly, and I will carry you to the bed.”
Ning Junyan wiped off the water on his body, and Chen Yuncheng really stretched out his hand to carry him, but he had just wrapped his arms around Ning Junyan’s waist before he could make any effort, Ning Junyan picked him up.
Chen Yuncheng quickly put his arms around Ning Junyan’s neck and was carried out by Ning Junyan and thrown on the bed.
