Wow!
āKueeee?!ā
Jesus Christ.ćA game of chicken!
As I was collecting kosher leaves in the garden, I was attacked from behind by roosters.
Two birds and a chick came towards me, wanting attention. The two chickens had met in the forest, and before I knew it, their eggs had hatched a chick. Itās so small and cuteā¦!ćIts parents were a white rooster and a brown hen. I wonder what color this chick is going to be when it grows upā¦?ćIām looking forward to it.
At first, I tried to feed him like I would any other chicken. I tried to feed him vegetables, but he didnāt seem to like them, and now heās been finding grass and medicinal plants to snack on in the garden, on his own. Well, at least heās eating. You could just eat your veggies normally⦠but maybe you prefer it this way.
Iāll play with you!ćJust let me collect the kosher leaves!
The white rooster, who was the most energetic, wouldnāt stop assaulting me. Hey, hey, it hurts like a sore thumbā¦!
Iām happy that the house is bustling with activity, I guess I enjoy their attention-seeking behavior for some reason.
And besides, I can get eggs. Iām very happy with how the dining room table is so lively and has more to offer now.
I canāt wait to finish gathering the kosher leaves so I can play with the chickens.
Look, look, look this way!
āKueee!ā
The most common games I play with them are running and exercising.
They are rushing towards me, so I run away. Itās like a game of tag. This is where the character of the chickens comes into play. The father is easy to avoid because he just rushes straight at me, but the brownish mother chicken will change directions rapidly. I have to hurry when she turns suddenly. Perhaps, if I were to get caught, it would be by the mother hen. Or, it would be by a coordinated play between the couple.
Theyāve even developed a technique where the mother feints and the father lunges at her, and I was caught in the act yesterday.
Hmmm, wild chickens are so different from domestic ones.
Oh, by the way, thatās right! Todayās exchange diary should be about chickens!
Iām looking forward to exchanging the diary with God and playing with the chickens until the sun goes down.
