Chapter 89: Feng Yao, Fuxi

Feng Xiao didn’t waste words and put on airs to say to Master Zhang Tian, “Master Zhang Tian, I’ll have to trouble you.”

“Alright, please stand still.”

“Emperor, Princess Shui Yue, goodbye……”

Princess Shui Yue looked at with a glare, as flames of rage almost shot out at him.  Feng Xiao gave a careless smile as he looked right at her chest for a while.

Feeling his clear gaze,

“Heavenly Stars Vague Space Talisman!”

Master Zhang Tian roared as the yellow talisman crumpled in his hand.  The three of them slowly faded before disappearing on the spot.

“I look forward to you smoothly finishing this quest.  For my daughter and for an excuse for me to reward you.”  The Heavenly Dragon Emperor looked at where they  had disappeared as he muttered this.

“Humph!  Actually going to provoke an Immortal Beast, overestimating yourself.”  Princess Shui Yue angrily knit her brows and gave a snort.

The Heavenly Dragon Emperor looked at his daughter with a strange gaze.  Since she had secretly gone to find Feng Xiao that day, she would easily become angry and wouldn’t be able to stand him.

With a flash of white light, the Feng siblings appeared on a small green hill.  Although the surroundings weren’t shocking, they did give off a refreshing sensation that calmed a person.

“The two of you, this is a hundred kilometers to the west of Heavenly Dragon Imperial City and the limit of this lowly daoist’s abilities.  The two of you just needs to keep heading west according to the map and you should reach that place in around two days.”

“Two days?”  Feng Xiao thought it over.  Compared to how big the Heavenly Dragon Continent was, two days journey indeed wasn’t long, but like this he would only leave five days for himself.

“Alright, many thanks daoist Zhang!”

“It’s just a slight effort.  Now, I wish that everything goes smoothly for warrior Wind Spirit!  This lowly daoist bids farewell!”

With a flash of white light, Master Zhang Tian disappeared and returned to Heavenly Dragon City.

“Big brother, this place is so soothing.  I never knew that air could smell this good.”  Feng Yao hugged Feng Xiao’s arm as she excitedly looked around, being infatuated with the fresh air around this place.

The monsters in the territory of an Immortal Beast were not normal powerful.

“I know big brother!”  Feng Yao honestly replied.  She was willing to go to hell with him with a smile, but she wasn’t willing to be a burden for him.

The emperor gave a serious nod before saying, “Alright, you can leave.  Have Doctor Huang come and see me.”

“Yes!”  Master Zhang Tian replied as he retreated.  After a while, Doctor Huang quickly ran in.

“Emperor, you called this old minister for…..”  Doctor Huang had a careful look on his face as there was an indescribable worry in his voice.

“That’s right, the effect of the medicine has faded.”  He relaxed his tense voice and the emperor’s face gradually turned pale, as his breathing became unstable.

Doctor Huang helplessly took out a pill and handed it over to the emperor with a trembling hand.  The emperor put it into his mouth when he took it and calmed his breathing, as his face returned to normal.

“Emperor, why are you doing this?  Although this pill is amazing, it uses life force as a price.  If you keep doing this, your life force will only last a week……”

The emperor waved his hand to stop Doctor Huang as he said with a calm face, “This one has no reason to stay, this one only hopes that this one can remain clear minded long enough to tell my daughter everything.  The future disaster of Heavenly Dragon Imperial City will all depend on her!”

Doctor Huang gave a sigh.  He didn’t say anything, there was just a depressed look that couldn’t be hidden on his face.

Everyone thought that after the emperor used the qilin blood, he had recovered from his illness and was glowing with health.  But they didn’t know that he was using a forbidden pill that allowed him to keep his mind while using his life force as a price.

Feng Xiao and Feng Yao were like a pair of lovers as they travelled while holding hands.  On the way was Feng Yao’s happy voice mixed with the laughter of a young man and woman.

Until they met a group blocking their way with sticks.

Rabbits!

Demonized Tusk Rabbits: Level 15

HP: 500

A weak rabbit that became aggressive.  It normally attacks people on the road for fun, but it has never succeeded and rather is a target for being beaten by others.

Skill:

Eat My Stick: Raises the stick in its hand to attack enemies with a chance to cause a 1 second stun.

Floating Rabbit: Level 15

HP: 480

A rabbit that likes to dance, but no one seems to appreciate it.

Skill:

Rabbit Dance: Recovers 100 HP for nearby allies.

“It’s rabbits again!”  A fierce look appeared in Feng Xiao’s eyes as he wished he could catch them and roast them.

Feng Yao was surprised by her big brother’s reaction and couldn’t help asking, “Big brother, you hate rabbits?”

“It’s more than just hate.  Back in the Beginner Village, I was…..Ke, ke, it’s just a bit of hate!”  Feng Xiao caught himself in time, “If someone knew that the Asura at the top of the «Rebirth» rankings had been killed by a rabbit, his fame would be destroyed.”

“It’s like this.”  Feng Yao naturally believed him, so she became hostile to the rabbits that she liked at first because her big brother hated them.

Feng Yao revealed a faint smile and a seven stringed zither covered in a gentle white glow appeared in her embrace.  The zither was not wide and it created a shocking harmony as it was being held by Feng Yao, as if the Fuxi Zither belonged to her.

“This is the legendary Fuxi Zither?”  Feng Xiao’s eyes opened wide.  There was a faint white glow on the zither that released a mysterious attraction that made him feel like he was hit by a spring breeze.

Moreover, his mind became very calm the moment he saw it.  It made it so that his heart didn’t have a single negative emotion.

“Fuxi Zither, it’s actually the Fuxi Zither.  So it wasn’t a mistake before.”  Xuanyuan Wan’er said to herself in a daze, like she had seen something incredible.

“Then the reason I can’t see through her really is because she is……”

“Why would she and the Fuxi Zither appear…..After I was thrown into reincarnation by that person, just what happened in the Heaven Realm…..”
