Chapter 37: Reborn qilin child

“Bo……”

When the blood touched the qilin egg, a strong golden light appeared that instantly surrounded the qilin egg.  The aura of death that surrounded it was swallowed by the golden light, not leaving a trace.

The Purple Lightning Qilin said in a shocked and serious voice.  Feng Xiao stared at the egg and somewhat anxiously asked, “Did it succeed like this?”

“He, ha, thank you.  Wind Spirit, you have successfully saved my child.  The qilin clan will always remember your kindness for generations and you will always be a friend to us qilins!”  The Purple Lightning Qilin’s voice was filled with happiness, excitement, and gratefulness.  It had changed calling Feng Xiao from human to “Wind Spirit”.

Not seeing the Purple Lightning Qilin make any moves, the white glowing qilin egg slowly floated in front of it.  The Purple Lightning Qilin gave an excited low roar and the purple bead on its head released an intense purple glow.  The purple glow became stronger until Feng Xiao did not dare stare at it.  The Purple Lightning Qilin’s giant dragon head looked down slightly and the purple bead suddenly released a large purple bolt of lightning, falling right on the qilin egg.

There was no explosion sound as he expected and it did not even make a sound.  The qilin egg in the air was bathing in the power of the lightning……
