「What are we doing today?」
After we finished the seafood soup that Char-chan and the others made for breakfast, Cruz-kun, Ilya-chan, and my younger sister came over and asked me this. Or rather, they came to ask, but it was obvious that they all wanted to go to Dragon Forest.
「Actually, I wanted to take a little break, but why don’t we go cut down trees or something.」
「Then I’ll go get ready!」
When I said that, the three people ran to their own rooms. I went outside to prepare as well. As I was getting the wolf cart and the familiars ready, Cruz-kun and the others came, so we departed for Dragon Forest. If I mind the gatekeeper who’s always there, then it’s my loss!
I was resting on the wolf cart as we headed to the forest, but Cruz-kun was running around. He was too energetic.

When we arrived at Ojii-san’s house, the cat sisters and the children from the harbor city came to greet us. It seems that they were a little nervous, but it seems that they were able to sleep soundly and they had been helping out at the farm since this morning.

We greeted Sakuya-chan and Obaa-san as well. The two wind dragons were not fatigued, but it seems that they were relaxing at home today. Queen and the adventurer group were taking care of the children from the harbor city, so we departed for Dragon Forest without delay. The members were the usual four people, Pii-chan, the wolf cubs, Wood Monkey, Shadow Owl, Silver Squirrel, Poison Snake, Blue Tiger, and the members from the early days. Up until now, they had only ever hunted with the wolves, but today, it seems that Queen will take them with her together with the children from the harbor city. Blue Tiger had been guarding the stalls, but because the number of wolves had increased recently, we were able to substitute the guard and it was able to go out with us today.

Ojii-san was not here today, and we weren’t able to go too deep into the forest, so we’ll do our best in harvesting fruits and medicinal herbs, cutting down trees, and hunting.
And, we were enthusiastic, but the outcome was dismal. The medicinal herbs in conspicuous places had been harvested, and anywhere that the fruits and berries could be harvested, they had been. Thanks to Wood Monkey, Silver Squirrel, and Poison Snake, we were just barely able to harvest the ones remaining at the top of the trees. The cause of this might be the adventurer group and the Kolbolds. We planned on being out for a long period of time, so I told them about the place where we harvested food and asked them to help us do it, but they did more than expected.
「Today, we were unable to harvest anything.」
「Yes, it seems that everyone did their best.」
「There are no fruits at all

It seems that our hunting ground was taken care of by the adventurer group and the Kolbolds, and it might be best to search for a different place in the future. However, before anything else, the schedule for today.
「Then, it’s been a while, but why don’t we go collect honey?」
If it’s the honey, the adventurer group wouldn’t go there, and since we’ve been on a trip, they should’ve accumulated quite a bit.
「Yes, the children wanted to eat honey as well.」

My younger sister and Ilya-chan approved of my suggestion and we headed over.
As we walked toward the flower field, we cut down trees as we went. Of course, in order to not chop down too many, we only cut a few.
