Chris-san asked me to explain more about the products, but I thought it would be easier if she actually saw the actual products, so I took out three different types of teacups from my magic box and put them on the table.
Incidentally, the designs and shades are different. Nebula and Illness-san are making them as a hobby, so thereās no point in mass-producing the same ones. However, due to the properties of the teacups, it seems that they gathered them in a set of four, so when I sell them, I plan to sell them as a unit.
[I canāt say for sure whether it will sell well at a festival stall or not, but donāt you think theyāre well-made?]
[ā¦ā¦Indeed. Theyāre such great teacups that make me want to alleviate the pain in my head and stomach. I seeā¦ā¦ So this is your brand mark huh.]
While checking the teacup, Chris-san also checked the three lined-up mountains design mark I mentioned earlier. That brand mark isnāt quite emphasized in the teacups, engraved under the cups.
[ā¦ā¦Miyama-sama isnāt involved in the production of these, right?]
[Thatās right. The production was completely done by Nebula and Illness-san.]
[ā¦ā¦W- What should be done about these? I- Iām not sureā¦ā¦ Miyama-sama didnāt directly make them, but theyāre marked with Miyama-samaās brandā¦ā¦ I canāt predict how the others will moveā¦ā¦ Incidentally, Miyama-sama, there are those accessories made from Dragon King-samaās scales, but do you plan to sell them as branded products as well?]
[No, I donāt. This time would just be a matter of selling the leftovers because it would be a waste to throw them away, and even if we do sell them, it will probably be in a flea market format like this time.]
We donāt have enough to sell on a regular basis. These would just be sold for the purpose of disposing of surplus things that Nebula and Illness-san made that arenāt made use in my house and Lilia-sanās mansion.
And so, I didnāt want to raise the price too much, and after consulting with Nebula, we thought of setting the price at 100Rā¦ā¦ which is about 10,000 Japanese yen.
It may be a little expensive to sell them at a festival stall, but if they donāt sell, it doesnāt really matter much to me.
When I told Chris-san about this thoughā¦ā¦ She was holding her head in her hands. Then, after a moment of silenceā¦ā¦ She looked at me with a rather astounded expression on her face.
[ā¦ā¦Please set the price at least ten times that amount. Even when multiplied by that much, itās still too cheapā¦ā¦ Also, please make sure to limit the number of purchases per person. Thereās no guarantee that there wonāt be people who would want to buy it all upā¦ā¦]
[I see, I hadnāt thought about anyone thinking of hoarding these. It would certainly be better to have a variety of people buying these itemsā¦ā¦ Errr, I will discuss the prices with Nebula and Amel-san again.]
[That would be great.]
Even though the quality is good, we kept the price low because in the end, they were made by an amateur like Nebula. Well, Nebulaās tea cups are amazing, so I think they are worth 100 times the price I was initially thinking considering their quality, so as Chris-san said, letās reconsider the price.
[Do you also have samples for the other products your stall will be handling? If itās possible, Iād like to know them as much as I canā¦ā¦]
[Even though we have magic boxes, thereās the stall space limit, so we donāt have that manyā¦ā¦ Ahh, speaking of which, Amel-san said that she would sell something like a brooch modeled after a feather.]
[Ahh, those are traditional accessories of the Wingeds. Theyāre simple accessories that are often sold at stalls held by them. I see, so youāre also arranging things that are typical of the Wingeds.]
[Iāve seen a few of themā¦ā¦ Theyāre easy to make, so Iāve promised Amel-san to make them with her next time.]
[ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦]
Hearing what I said, Chris-san looked blankly at me, stiffening in place. The expression on her face seemed to be a mixture of melancholy, despair, and a variety of other emotions.
[ā¦ā¦U- Ummm, Chris-san?]
[Iām alright. Yes, Iām alrightā¦ā¦ Iām just despairing a little bit about a future I donāt want to imagine.]
[That doesnāt sound alright to me!]
[ā¦ā¦I- I- I- Is that soā¦ā¦ T- There are alsoā¦ā¦ accessories whose production Miyama-sama would be involved inā¦ā¦ My body feels shivers, and my stomach is aching. I think I understand now how Duchess Lilia feels.]
[N- No, even if you say Iām involved in their productionā¦ā¦ Amel-san was the one preparing those materials, so I will just be combining them and not processing them, you know?]
[ā¦ā¦I- I seeā¦ā¦ I- Indeed, if itās just that, then perhapsā¦ā¦]
Chris let out a relieved sigh with a somewhat hopeful look on her face butā¦ā¦
[Well, there is talk of trying to come up with some original accessories if we have a little extra timeā¦ā¦]
[ā¦ā¦Miyama-sama, do you enjoy messing with my heart?]
[How come!? A- As far as it goes though, I think thereās almost no possibility of making it just from what I heard from Amel-san.]
[Even if thereās just a 1% chanceā¦ā¦ We canāt afford not to be prepared for possible situationsā¦ā¦ My apologies. Someone bring me some stomachache pillsā¦ā¦ powerful ones.]
With my additional words, her face dyed with despair appeared again. That stuff about original accessories was actually just what Amel-san said from all the excitement she was having back thenā¦ā¦ but I really donāt know how that talk would turn out. In the first place, I donāt think I can make original accessories with my skills, and I think thereās almost no possibility of actually making them. Well, thatās what I was thinkingā¦ā¦ but it seems like that was the problem.
U- Unnn. I guess if I were to actually make them, Iād have to think about how to deal with people who might act strangely, which includes Shiro-san on that listā¦ā¦ Otherwise, it would end up being quite a big deal for Chris-sanā¦ā¦
