Leaving the stall, we meet up with Cento-san and Cien-san. At the end of the final door we ended up in was a wooden mask, which I suppose is our prize.
It looks like itās built well, something that should be reasonably priceyā¦ā¦ Is it a mask of some ethnic group? It does look a little eerie. Well, Tre-san just wore it without hesitation thoughā¦ā¦
It seems that Cento-san and Cien-san got a bag containing an assortment of sweets. In terms of value, what we got is probably better, but I personally feel that it would have been better if we also got an assortment of sweetsā¦ā¦ Well, Tre-san seemed to be happy with the mask, so I should just give it to her.
[We still have some time left, but what do you want to do? Should we go back to check out the stalls, or should we use Teleportation Magic and check out the stalls somewhere elseā¦ā¦]
[Hmmm, most of the places weāve gone to were ones I like, so I think we should go where Kaito, Cento or Cien want to go.]
[I donāt really have any particular places in mind, but what about you, Cento-san, Cien-san?]
Or rather, up to this point, it was either me or Tre-san who decided and Cento-san and Cien-san would follow, so if itās possible, I would like Cento-san and Cien-san to express their wishes.
Well, itās not like I would force them to say where they would like to go, so if they donāt have any plan in mind either, we could just go around randomlyā¦ā¦
[ā¦ā¦If Cien doesnāt have a place in mind, I would like to go to the Eastern Streetā¦ā¦]
[Easternā¦ā¦ Ahh, I see. I couldnāt really think of any place Iād like to go, so if itās possible, letās go to the Eastern Streetā¦ā¦]
Cento-san somewhat hesitantly said that she wanted to go to the Eastern Street, and Cien-san, seemingly realizing something, recommended where Cento-san wanted to go.
[Alright. Well then, letās go to the Eastern Street thenā¦ā¦ Is that okay with you, Tre-san?]
[Unnn. However, whatās up with the Eastern Street?]
I was also curious about the reason why Cento-san mentioned the Eastern Street, but it seems that Tre-san herself doesnāt know about it, curiously tilting her head.
At this question, the one who answered was Cien-san, not Cento-san.
[I think itās because there are many shops on the Eastern Street that sell handicrafts.]
[Ahh~~ I see! Youāre talking about ceramics huh! Cento likes ceramics after all.]
[Yesā¦ā¦ At events like this, I may be able to find rare articlesā¦ā¦]
Seemingly convinced after hearing Cien-sanās words, Tre-san nodded, to which Cento-san nodded a little shyly. I see, pottery huhā¦ā¦ It was a genre I personally have no clue about, so I havenāt thought about that at all.
[Heehhh~~ Cento-san likes pottery huh.]
[Unnn. She has quite a collection. I donāt know much about themā¦ā¦ but is stuff like that also famous here in Symphonia?]
[Symphonia Kingdom is famous for its Five-Colored Pottery. Just as its name suggests, itās pottery that makes use of five colors, green, yellow, red, purple and blue, and they use it for both their clayware and ceramicware. Its vibrant and bold colors make it hold quite the presence, so not only could they be used as utensils, but they could also be decorations.]
Is that so, I didnāt know about that. I mean, I donāt remember going to the Eastern Area that much. I often go to the Southern Area where there are many shops and the Northern Area where theaters and stuff were, but I donāt really think I have been around the Eastern and Western Area.
This is also the first time Iāve heard of Five-Colored Pottery. The tableware at Lilia-sanās mansion is basically white, so I think Lilia-san probably just doesnāt have much interest in ceramics.
As for anyone else who may seem knowledgeable about ceramicsā¦ā¦ Wait?
[ā¦ā¦Unnn? Kaito, youāre pondering over there, whatās up?]
[Ahhh, no, when I heard about ceramics, I just remembered how Nebula talked about buying a kiln for pottery.]
[Kiln? Thatās quite the orthodox one. I have also visited pottery workshops myself, and made some several times butā¦ā¦]
[She had been looking very carefully at various places. She was apparently looking to buy a special magic kiln.]
Iām not that interested in pottery myself, so I just ignored itā¦ā¦ but I remember Nebula and Illness-san explaining it to me.
It seems that it will take some time from order to completion, so they havenāt set it up yetā¦ā¦ but in the not-too-distant future, a kiln will appear in our backyard.
[Apparently, something about a kiln that can be adjusted in seven stages or something like that.]
[Are you talking about the Seven-Point Special Magic Power-Kneading Kiln!?]
[Errr, itās probably thatā¦ā¦ Is that something expensive?]
[Of course, itās expensive, but more importantly, itās a kiln that is famous for being quite difficult to handle. If you can master it, you can certainly make really subtle adjustments to the baking of your pottery, but that kiln isnāt something one can easily use unless theyāre very skilled, so there arenāt many pottery workshops that have it installed.]
Cento-san, who loves pottery, seemed to be surprised when she heard what I said, so it must be a really high-level kiln. Normally thinking about it, just casually using that wouldnāt allow you to master itā¦ā¦ but if itās Illness-san and Nebula, I feel like they can somehow do it.
[ā¦ā¦Once their product is complete, Iād like to see it too.]
[Unnn, Iāll tell the two of them about it, so when the opportunity comes, come and visit us again.]
Didnāt they mention something about making teacups? I really feel like if itās the two of them, they would make something amazing. It may just be seeing the creations of my family very favorably, but the wooden cups they sometimes make are of a fairly high level, so I guess I can expect their ceramic cups to be great?
