It is an executive group that has the best abilities and magical powers in Demon King Army, consisting of experts in fire, water, wind, and death attributes.
Itâs power is truly overwhelming, eliminating human troops counting over 10000, well-known adventurers, and even heroes selected by prophets.
However their achievements are not simply limited to war efforts.
In the first place, the Demon Kingâs Army had no order.
The demons only had the Demon King above them, and the Demon King only had the demons below him.
Therefore they often fought separately and were often out of step.
Despite so, they were able to fight on even ground because an individual demon had greater abilities than an individual human.
However, even if things go smoothly in the beginning, weak points will be revealed the longer the fighting stretches out.
When humans learned that there was no organization among demons, they found the individual weaknesses of each race, and either sent more troops, or specialists to crush them to the fullest.
This strategy seemed to have an instant effect.
Until then, there was no connection between different races among the demons.
Their relations were so weak, that if one race was attacked by human and got wiped out, they would begin laughing from their noses.
On the contrary, the human side could concentrate its forces on one race.
It was easy to take measures because it was not necessary to think of enemy reinforcements and it was possible to fight only a single race.
The demons were immediately made inferior.
On top of that just recently, the news of the previous Demon Kingâs passing weighed heavy on demons.
In contrast, the young Demon King sitting on the throne had no charisma, and caused morale of the troops to fall.
But that wasnât necessarily an unfortunate incident.
Under the young Demon King, the reorganization of forces was an urgent task, and what sprang up from it, was the Four Heavenly Kingsâ executive concept.
The system which was initially conceived under the pretext of serving the young King, deviated far from the inventorâs expectations, and permeated into the demons.
Apparently, the sense of crisis that someone had to take the place of the Demon King, even if temporarily, was common to all demons. It was largely due to their sense of loyalty to the Demon King.
Thus the Four Heavenly Kings were chosen from talented individuals among various races, and various executives and organizations were placed under the Kings.
In this way, a systematic way of fighting had become available for the demon army, which had fought separately up till now.
The battlefield, which was disadvantageous for the Demon King army, had now turned overwhelmingly in their favor.
This shocked not only the humans, but the demons as well.
After yielding fruitful results, the races which were initially skeptical of the Four Heavenly Kings, began assembling under them as a symbol worthy of pledging allegiance to, separate from the Demon King.
From there on, the the Four Heavenly Kings became a noble existence in the demon army.
While all this happened, there were rifts beginning to form even among the four kings.
Capsodia the Dead Scorpionâs expulsion was also one of them.
But at this moment they didnât know.
How crucial an existence Capsodia was for the Four Heavenly KingsâŚ

[Nevilla Storm]!!
That was none other, than the sound of despair on the battlefield.
A battlefield where many demons raise their voice, and collide with humans.
What appeared in the middle of it, was a tornado.
That tornado sucks in the humans on the ground and shreds them into pieces.
The wind attribute spell, drilled into the humans as if they were soil, and drove a wedge in the battlefield.
âFuuâŚâ
The one who exhaled, was Luviana the Dazzling Mist.
However, she immediately tightens her expression.
After confirming the state from mid-air, she could tell the demons were too slow.
At this rate, the wedge driven in by her might go to waste.
âVoganis! What are you doing! Hurry and move the army!!â
Luviana who usually remains cool, lets out a rough voice.
She scolded her colleague commanding the army on the ground.
[Tidal Wave]!!
Even though they were fighting on ground, a huge tsunami forms.
A black sea rushes into the battlefield, and swallows the human army.
Itâs control was tremendous, and the corpses of drowned humans get neatly piled up.
âHe heâŚâ
Voganis laughs proudly.
However it was still a rebuke which fell on his head.
âVoganis, what are you doing!!â
âHuh? Obviously Iâm slaughtering the humans?â
âIdiot! move according to the strategy.â
âStrategy? Thereâs no need to though? Iâm fine as long as I can kill humans.â
âVoganis!!â
With an unprecedented threatening attitude, Luviana glares at her colleague.
Voganis, who was considered a promising brat among the Heavenly Kings, thought it was really bad when he saw Luvianaâs face.
His already blue face became even more bluish, and he finally turns his face.
âN-no need to glare that much.â
âVoganis! Did you forget? Long ago, when we were inferior to humans⌠At that time, the demons were all separated. But we went through hell getting the Heavenly Kings recognized, and finally gathered the demons together. Are you going to repeat all that again?â
âI-I get it!â
âGood. Then please follow the strategy.â
âStill, isnât our strength too low?â
Voganis stares at the soldiers he was leading.
The human army was 50000 strong, but the demons only 20000.
Less than half.
âIt canât be helped, the revival team isnât able to catch up, so weâll have to cover their part.â
âGot it.â
Voganis gives an unusual sigh.
Luviana turns around while grinding her teeth.
She rebuked him, but she knows Voganis doesnât have the capability to lead the army to begin with.
If anything having him stand at the front lines, and rampage to break the enemyâs formation is where he would shine.
However, his current position is the exact opposite.
She said it many times, but he is not the staff type, to give commands behind the scenes.
âIf this were Capsodiaâs strategyâŚâ
Luviana mutters to herself.
Capsodia rarely approached the battlefield, because of his revival work. However one day before a big battle, no matter how busy he may be, he appeared before Luviana and the others with dedication.
His strategies were always impressive, showing almost perfect results each time.
In human terms, Capsodia had a military advisor position, so to speak.
In the first place, it was Capsodia who put forward the Four Heavenly Kings system.
Many demons think it was planned by the current Kings together, but that is a mistake.
Capsodia alone did all the work, from draft to staffing, as well as negotiations between the races.
Luviana and the others could only look.
They were Capsodiaâs childhood friends, who unlike other demons, were slightly better at brawns and magic, and just happened to be offered to become Heavenly Kings.
Luviana didnât know what the other Heavenly Kings thought.
However, she strongly felt that she was only a bonus that came along with Capsodia.
Therefore, while she found Capsodia reliable, she was also scared.
There was no way she could think to replicate his abilities, or his strategies.
Somewhere in her heart, she was afraid that he was looking down on the other Heavenly Kings.
Which is why Luviana couldnât protest strongly against Capsodiaâs expulsion.
âOi! Luviana!!â
Hearing Voganisâ voice, Luviana returns to her senses.
She quickly realizes the meaning of his voice.
Despite taking the greatest attacks of 2 Heavenly Kings, the human army had already realigned itself and begun fighting the demons.
âAs I thoughtâŚâ
Luviana bites her lip.
Voganisâ [Tidal Wave] was unnecessary.
The humans, who had become wary after Luvianaâs first attack had fallen back after it, so Voganisâ second attack had caused little damage.
âThis is bad!â
Her [Nevilla Storm] was a certain kill move.
Therefore, it consumed a great deal of magical power.
It would take time to release her next bullet.
The same was true for Voganis.
Until we are ready, we have no choice but to have the demons on the ground do their best.
However, although the demons led by Voganis have high morale, they have no organizational power.
Even now, everyone is standing on the battlefield as they please, ignoring the formation.
In addition, the small number of troops was fatal.
âAt this rate theyâll break through!!â
Luvianaâs voice echoes in the battlefield.
It was after thatâ
JUDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNN!!
Suddenly, a pillar of fire rose in the battlefield.
It was as powerful as a volcano erupting.
It stabs the human forces right in the center, when theyâre about to go on the offensive.
The heat of the flame was so intense, it caused to humans to melt before they could even raise a scream.
A single blast of magic, decided the winner in this battle.
Seeing the hell which appeared on earth, the demons below Luviana swallowed their breath.
âJust what are you having trouble withâŚâ
A dark and cold voice traces the spine.
Turning around to see who it was, A demon who flipped his crimson cloak was floating in the air.
It was Blazel the Scorching Heat.
Letting his red hair flutter in the wind, he lets his golden eyes shone as if heâs the king of the battlefield.
âThat was a close one, Blazel.â
Voganis wipes his sweat with a sigh of relief.
Seeing his state, Blazel frowns at him.
âVoganis, what do you think youâre doing.â
âWh-what do you mean⌠I was slaughtering the humans.â
âYour mission was to command the ground troops.â
âT-that⌠I donât think itâs my style.â
âIndeed⌠It was you who stated he wanted to try and lead the troops thoughâŚâ
âDid I say that?â
ââŚ..â
âOi oi, donât look so scary, Blazel. I promise Iâll do better next time.â
âThere will be no next time. The positions will change as they were before.â
âE-eeeh⌠No wayâŚâ
âYou are the one who said it wasnât his style.â
Blazel was harsh.
âThen, whoâll command the forces? You perhaps, Blazel?â
âI am only the commander of the Demon King Army. Iâll leave the charge to you, Luviana.â
âThatâs fine but⌠the commander isnât you, Blazel. Our commander is the Great Demon King.â
ââŚHm.â
âWhatâs with that attitude⌠Do you presume to take the Demon king lightly?â
âI didnât say that, I only thought â ânow that you mention it, youâre rightâ.â
Blazel flips his cloak.
He turns his back towards Luviana and Voganis.
âWhere are you going, Blazel? We still have to eliminate the straggling enemies.â
âIâm heading back to the Demon King Castle, since I have some business there.â
âSomething more important than pursuing the enemy⌠Could it be that toy you keep fiddling with, while shutting yourself in your lab?â
âToy, huh⌠You donât understand the value of that âtoyâ, Luviana.â
âThe toyâs value?â
âYou will know soon enough. Once itâs complete, the shape of the war itself will change.â
Blazel twists his neck, and laughs.
The air around him had changed, after Capsodiaâs expulsion.
Blazel himself might not be aware, but he has clearly become more terrifying.
However, though he was Luvianaâs childhood friend, she had no idea of the ruin he was headed towards.
