The date went smoothly after the night walk. Theo asked Catherine out on a schedule as a count and they went for dates more than twice a week.
Most of them were restaurants and cafes that are popular among aristocratic young people these days. Theo was not the type to lead the conversation skillfully, but he was a good listener to Catherine.
The problem arose elsewhere.
A lady jumped in like an elk and joined the date at every date spot that was directed to Catherineās taste.
Theo couldnāt complain as they said they were, āCatherineās friend.ā However, if they seem to be openly confronting her.
āYou seem to have a lot to say between the two friends, so Iād better leave it to you two.ā
āIāll be waiting at home, Catherine.ā
He said and kissed Catherineās hand and left his seat. Of course he paid for it!
It was as happy as it was, but Catherine gritted her teeth at the interruption of her long-awaited date. As soon as Theoās appearance disappeared from the cafe, she raised her voice.
āSince when have you been my best friend?ā
The lady, who had been biting a handkerchief from the moment Theo kissed the back of Catherineās hand, stared at Catherine, growing her double-hearts in her eyes.
āArenāt you too cowardly? To force an engagement by healing a sick manās injury!ā
āWhat do you mean by forcing an engagement?ā
Catherine did not lose and shouted, but this remark gave her some strength.
āThatās right! The Count is the brother of Her Majesty the Crown Princess, so he should be able to marry the person he wants! I canāt believe heās forced to engage with such a tacky woman without such freedom! Shameless!ā
The lady poured it out like that and left the cafe. Catherine, who was left alone, drank black tea and waved.
āI canāt believe she said Iām forcing him to marry me.ā¦!ā
At least Catherine didnāt intend to, but the Marquis of Rasmine did. Theo also seemed to follow suit, as the former Count Of Adelia had promised verbally before going into exile.
āI canāt say no. I alone want to marry the count.ā
Kathryn had so far found it difficult to deal with Theo, but he realized that he had not confirmed anything important.
The most important thing was Theoās heart.
āDo you want to marry me?ā
Seeing him go out with her without much complaint, she can see that he is willing to get engaged. However, it was not known whether Theo liked her.
Of course, love would be too much. Catherine also liked Theo, and was not sure if she loved him.
But! Nevertheless! Catherine also wanted to be loved by Theo.
āAm I being too greedy? Of course, I think Iāll be happy for the rest of my life with just that face and bodyā¦ā¦.ā
Would he just think of Catherine as a unique person, but accept her? It was Catherineās own wish.
āBut this is an important issueā¦ā¦.ā
Thinking that she should ask Theoās doctor, Catherine burned her motivation.

On the other hand, Theo was coordinating with the Marquis of Rasmine to decide when to send the proposal. The letter of proposal was intended to be sent as soon as Theo returned to the Count.
āOf course, I would like to propose to the Lady separately before that.ā
When Theo said this, the Marquis of Rasmine laughed and rejoiced.
āHey, did you even think about that? Sheās gonna love it. Women are happy with such little things!ā
Theo thought that the proposal was not a small one, but from the Marquis of Rasmineās point of view, marriage seemed to be a family union.
As an aristocrat it was a matter of course to ask the fatherās will before proposing. Theo adjusted the schedule, thanking the marquis for his permission.
Leaving the Marquisā office, Theo thought about Catherine.
His troubles were twofold.
One was what kind of proposal Catherine would be pleased with, and what the hell Catherine wanted to say to him.
āI hope itās nothing serious.ā
Catherine was not a tricky young woman to deal with. She wasnāt bored with Theoās words, and she tried to listen to whatever he said.
For his part, Theo would have tried to put up with it, even if Catherine was a sneaky person. Catherine wasnāt, so Theo was lucky.
āBut I definitely felt like she had a problem.ā
She looked as if she had something to say, but when asked, she said it was nothing.
At this point, Theo was worried about what Catherine would have to worry about.
āIs it about marriage?ā
Theoās marriage to Catherine is due to inherit the Marquis of Rasmine. However, this did not happen immediately.
Succession to the throne was only possible in the distant future, after the death or illness of the Marquis of Rasmine.
Therefore, if Catherine marries Theo, he is still Count Adelia, not Marquis Rasmine.
