“Ughhh..”
I wondered why I had to face such a fate as I stared at the vomit I had thrown up. When I sat down, tears streamed down my cheeks, and for some reason, I remembered my childhood.
I was in third grade when I noticed that my next-door classmate was always occupied with the game when he came to my house, and I realized, oh, he’s just after the game. When I was in fourth grade, my homeroom teacher, who had seen me watering the flowerbeds, was so moved that she told the entire class to follow my example while giving me a look that said, “You don’t usually do that.” “When I was in fifth grade, I unintentionally picked up an erotic book that had fallen by the side of the road, and when a girl in my class looked at me, I wanted to die.
For some reason, all I could think about were unpleasant things, and I’m wondering if this was a revolving lantern[1]. I’ve heard that a revolving lantern is shown to someone who is about to die and is looking for a way to save his or her life.
It was true that I was in the most difficult period of my life right now, and it was no exaggeration to say that I was dying; perhaps I was even looking for a way to save myself unconsciously.
“Oh, why are you in a place like this?”
I slowly looked up at the voice and noticed Chusin staring at me with interest as I cowered in the bathroom.
“Well, you don’t have to go to the bathroom; there is a washbasin in your room that you can use.”
She lifted me up by my sides and dragged me out of the bathroom. She was a well-known midwife, and Taizen had brought her in all the way to the capital.
“Yes…” I answered as I was dragged out of the room and returned to the bed.
She sat down beside me on a chair and began peeling an apple-like fruit. I only recently discovered that I could eat apple-like things without getting sick.
“Even though it’s hard, you still have to eat it, even if you ended up throwing up later,” Chusin said as she shoved them into my mouth.
“I’m having terrible morning sickness… and lost so much weight. I wonder if it’s because I’m a male omega. I have a feeling that men have it worse.”
Although it may have sounded prejudiced, only I knew how difficult it was. I couldn’t help but think this even though she was taking such good care of me. Chusin, perhaps sensing my dissatisfaction, laughed and offered me an apple-like substance. I reached over and took a bite of the apple-like substance before I could force it into my mouth.
It had already been a year since I paired with Taizen. And to my surprise, I had discovered a few weeks earlier that I was pregnant. Since I was still far from what is commonly referred to as a stable period, I was currently baptized with never-ending morning sickness.
“Your lips are chapped too… You need to drink some water.” Chusin said as she walked away with the maid by her side. As she walked away, I thought to myself, “Please don’t go.” I was unhappy to see her, a very dependable and reliable went somewhere although I kept whining and complaining all the time.
As I trailed their backs with my gaze, I remembered my female colleagues who were working while being pregnant. Despite the fact that they stated that the severity of morning sickness varies from person to person, the woman in the other department appeared to be sick throughout her pregnancy.
I finally realized that getting pregnant on my own would have been extremely difficult. I had underestimated what pregnancy was all about.
As I kept thinking unnecessary thoughts, coupled with my poor health, the door suddenly opened. At the entrance was Taizen, my pair entering the room. For a brief moment, nausea that I had always felt subsided.
Taizen smiled kindly and restrained me with his hand when I tried to get up.
“Don’t force yourself. I know you are in pain.”
He sat down on a chair and took my hand in his gently. I was still sick as usual, but his presence seemed to cleanse my heart. As expected of the beastman who was the embodiment of God, Taizen-sama.
“I’m sorry that I couldn’t meet Renchanfu when she came to visit me,” I apologized in a faint voice. In response, Taizen smiled wryly.
Renchanfu was getting married to the second prince, and she appeared to have come here to greet me and announce her wedding.
“No, I’m just here to talk about the details of what happened. There’s no need for Kouhei to overdo it.”
“So, that’s how it went…” I replied back absentmindedly.
“Yes, the first prince was removed entirely from the line of succession.” Instead, he was permitted to marry the person he claimed was his fated pair.”
“Fated pair…”
Apparently, a beastmen’s fated pair is his only partner in his current life; if they met someone who was their fated pair, they were instantly attracted to the opposite person, and instinctively knew that the latter was their fated pair.
“When I first heard about it from the first Prince, I wondered what he was talking about… but I feel like I understand his feelings when I meet you.”
My eyes widened in surprise; had Taizen already met his fated pair? My tear glands, which had loosened since I became pregnant, began to tear up slowly.
“You’ve met your fated pair?[2]” I asked directly, unable to control my emotions, and Taizen looked surprised, then gave me a gentle smile.
“I was referring to you, Kouhei.”
It took me a little while to understand what he meant, but my heart began to dance with joy even though I was just crying earlier. When I smiled at him, he smiled at me back.

“Aaa, ahhh…”
I held my two lovely children who were on my lap. The boy on my left, Seiran, had black hair but looked exactly like Taizen, and the girl on my right, Riyu, had platinum hair but looked similar to me. Taizen, who was in front of me, looked at us lovingly, as did the maids in the room, including Chusin, who stayed after the baby was born.

“ Just now, Seiran’s standing on his legs without any support,” I said excitedly, and Taizen squinted his eyes in happiness.
“I wish I could have seen it.” The gentle tone of his voice seemed to leak from his heart, and I couldn’t resist showing Seiran to him.
Then, I reached out my hand to Seiran to make him stand on his own. However, since he was tired, he fell on his bottom with a thud before I could reach him. Immediately after, Seiran began to cry, contorting his adorable face. Thinking he was cute even when crying, I extended my hand to hold him.
However, Taizen picked Seiran up first. Riyu sat up and raised her arms toward him, as if she wanted him to hold her as well. She was irresistibly cute.
Taizen smiled and, while holding Seiran who had stopped crying, picked up Riyu as well.
Then a gentle breeze blew in through the window and brushed the hair of the three people in front of me. I looked at the three of them with a very happy feeling. I felt so fulfilled.
“I’m so happy…”
Taizen gave me a lovely smile in response to my remark. In return, I smiled broadly with delight.
