Noel didn’t realize that his ‘logic’ was nonsense, so he smiled proudly.
“Hmm, there’s nothing I can do about it.”
He replied with a cool smile like the most popular boy in the capital.
“If you’re asking me that much, I will allow you to be by my side.”
“Oh, that’s a relief.”
Hugh smiled, patting the spot over his heart.
“If I am by the Lord’s side, I’ll be able to say hello to Princess Liz, right?”
“. . . !”
Noel widened his eyes.
He was so shocked that he couldn’t say anything.
No, he didn’t even think about it.
This brat! So, he asked because he wanted to say hello to Rieta!
“I’m so looking forward to it. Actually, I . . .”
In addition, Hugh took a small package out of his pocket.
“I brought a present for the Princess as well.”
My God.
He came here completely on purpose!
Just then, Rieta gave her greetings to the Princess, and she took a few steps back.
It was time for her to come back here again.
Noel looked at Hugh, whose eyes were twinkling brightly, and with anxious eyes he finally grabbed Hugh’s wrist and pulled it.
“Lord?”
The boy looked at him in amazement, but Noel didn’t mind and strode forward a few more steps.
“Lord?!”
“Follow me! Didn’t you say you’d be by my side?!”
Noel hid behind a pole far enough away from his father.
Hugh, who followed him without knowing what was going on, looked at him with bewildered eyes.
“Lord, by any chance.”
“What?”
“I’ve thought about it before, you don’t like me to greet the Princess?”
“No, don’t be ridiculous! Why would I dislike that!”
When he nailed right on point, Noel unknowingly screamed out loud, but soon covered his mouth with both hands.
It was because of all the eyes on him.
“But every time I talk about the Princess, you either change the subject or prevent us from meeting.”
“. . . That, that. I’m afraid you’ll make a mistake.”
“Mistake?”
“Yes.”
The boy began to stare at Noel with an expression that seemed to ask, What kind of mistake could you possibly be concerned about?

Noel thought hard. Suddenly, a flower that adorned the banquet hall caught his eye.
And he also remembered that Rieta was very fond of flowers.
“In the Kingdom of Liz, it is polite to offer flowers when you first meet the Princess.”

Rieta mouthed, “What are you doing?”, but Noel turned his head away instead of answering.

When he goes back to the mansion, her flat pronunciation will sound in his ears again.

“Then, I should go see Princess Liz with a large bouquet of flowers later.”

Noel was startled again by the decision he had heard from his side and looked back at the boy.
He was going to meet her with a large bouquet of flowers.
Huh? You will bring flowers, so it’s not that you’re not going to see her because it’s annoying?
“Why are you so surprised? The Lord said it. I needed flowers.”

“What kind of flowers does the Princess like? If possible, I want to give her her favorites.”

“Oh, maybe you don’t know?”
Noel didn’t know what Rieta’s favorite flower was.
He never wondered about it in the first place, and he didn’t want to know.
Aren’t all flowers the same?
However, to answer Hugh McClean that he didn’t know would hurt his pride.

“Yes?”
“You, don’t you know? Barley flower. The Kingdom of Liz is famous for its barley. So, even the Princess likes barley flowers the most.”
In fact, Noel had never even seen what a barley flower looked like.
He was just blurting out random excuses.
“I see . . . The Lord seems to know the Princess very well.”

We’ll always be living together.
Noel was trying to brag with a smirk unknowingly, but then he quickly shut his mouth.
It was an eternal secret that he decided to follow Rieta to the Kingdom.
A secret that only the two of them know.
