Chapter 12

After disappeared from Ren’s view, Yosan reported to Demon Lord Artacuz.

“Lord Artacuz.” (Yosan)

“Hmm, so how’s the development?” (Artacuz)

“He is willing to be impartial to humans, but he does not want to be a subordinate of Lord Artacuz. I think it does not matter as long as he does not become our enemy. “(Yosan)

“Good, then you come back here. I have another mission for you. “(Artacuz)

“As your wish!” (Yosan)

Yosan went to Artacuz’s place.

I had to find a way to get Ren to join my side soon, it would not be nice if he in the end sided with Human or other Demon Lord, I had to secure him immediately.

Demi-Human just like Human, besides having problems with Humans, Demi-Human also has its own internal problems, many are thirsty for authority, many are thirsty for treasure, many are thirsty for power. There is no difference between Demi-Human and Humans, except their form. Basically their nature is same.

♦ ♦ ♦

An hour passed after Yosan’s disappearance, and Yosan is not coming back.

Ren intentionally stay awake to wait for Yosan back.

“Hmm, did she hide again or did she leave?” (Ren)

A few moments ago I could still feel her presence, but not now. Does she use Stealth to hide?

“Gui, is there a Skill that can detect hiding enemies?” (Ren)

[Detection = 10000 SP, Clairvoyance = 50000 SP, Eye of Providence = 100000 SP]

Expensive…

But, Skill which can detect the presence of an enemy is a very important skill because it can save lives from a sudden attack.

“Eye of Providence? Wait! It’s God’s eye, is not it? “(Ren)

The price is very expensive, do not imagine how many people I have to kill to get the eyes…

[Yes, it is the power of the eyes possessed by the Gods who can see everything.]

“Can I get God’s power from the Shop?” (Ren)

[Master can gain God’s power from the Shop or by killing Gods as well as getting the Transformation into God. If God is killed, then the power of the God will be transferred to the person who killed him and the person may decide to become a new God or not. Master can not buy Transformation into a God in Shop, because it is beyond the System’s ability.]

The existence of the Gods in Altergaia is clear, because they will come if something disturbs the balance of the world. Maybe I can meet that Goddess again? But…

“Can somebody possibly kill a God?”

[Some Demon Lord in the past had killed the Gods and some of them became Gods at this time, Heroes never killed the Gods because humans worshiped Gods. Demi-Human also worshiped Gods, but more Demi-Human worshiped Demon Lord.]

It would be great if I lived as a God.

“Can God have more than one power?” (Ren)

[Of course, Gods can gain their own strength by increasing their deity or by taking on the power of other Gods.]

God is the strongest entity in this world, if I want to survive then I must be the strongest.

“Thanks Gui, you gave me the purpose!” (Ren)

[Master plans to become God?]

“Why not? Life will be safer if you become a God right? “(Ren)

[How do you become God?]

“Killing God to be a God?” (Ren)

[Master, if Master kills a God then another God who is a friend of the God will target Master as well, means Master will be the enemy of the Gods and the Gods will kill Master to avenge their friend.]

“Hmm, no problem!” (Ren)

[?OK…]

It does not matter if I become a God and have other Gods as enemies, I can defeat them one by one because fellow Gods, our strength will not be much different.

Now that I can not detect Yosan, I’d better get out of here to avoid something undesirable.

After thinking of a variety of things, Ren ran toward the city, then jumped up the tree.

At the top of the tree Ren turns into an Eagle, Ren flies as fast as he can toward the city.

After flying several kilometers, he went down and turned into a lion.

The sky was getting dark, now it was already 11 o’clock.

Ren climbed onto a big tree, then slept with the form of a lion.

♦ ♦ ♦

The morning had arrived, the sun shining brightly over Ren’s head.

All night there was no sign of Yosan, it looks like she’s gone from here, I do not feel her existence at all until now.

I just remembered something.

“Gui, can not I not see anything that costs over my SP? Why was yesterday I was told a Skill that costs so far above my SP? “(Ren)

[Because it is a Master question, the Skills will not appear in the shop, System notify Master because it is the System’s job to answer Master questions as Master’s guides.]

“Thanks, Gui!” (Ren)

[Umm, yes]

After ensuring Yosan did not follow him, Ren continued on to the city.
