CH 91

(**Sakura’s POV**)

“Ummm… this place is…?”

“Oh, you’re awake! We’re in a car!”

“Huh, Camilla-chan……?”

Sakura woke up and somehow Camilla-chan was right in front of her.

“Yes, it’s Camilla! It’s been a while, Sakura-chan!”

“Yeah, it’s been a while… Huh? Why is Sakura in the car and also Camilla-chan?”

I’m pretty sure Sakura was in Okayama Prefecture, so Camilla-chan can’t be there, right?

And I’m pretty sure Sakura was in the mountains.

“Where’s Onii-chan!? What happened to Onii-chan!?”

“Don’t worry… Kai’s asleep in the back…”

Sakura’s concern about Onii-chan was met with a gentle smile from the blonde girl she had met before.

Then she told her everything that happened while Sakura was sleeping.

“Is that so… Onee-chan did that…”

I didn’t know what to say when I heard that the blonde girl had separated Sakura and Onee-chan from me.

“Are you mad?”

The blonde-haired Onee-san― Alice-san, asked Sakura as she looked at her.

“No, I’m not angry. Because she was thinking of Onee-chan and the others when she did it.”

Sakura knew from her eyes that Alice-san was not lying, so she nodded easily.

Because if Onee-chan could grow up and become friends with Kirara-san, Sakura would surely be happy.

“But you were really angry with her, weren’t you? I’m sure there were reasons for her to grow up, but she also really didn’t want you around, did she?”

Camilla-chan, who was listening to the conversation between Sakura and Alice-san, interrupted Alice-san.

And then― immediately, Alice-san’s hand reached for Camilla-chan’s cheek.

“Really, this girl… should have her mouth sewn shut…”

“O-Ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch! Onyee~samaa, please don’t pinch mee~!”

Camilla-chan got teary-eyed because Alice was pinching her cheek.

And the one who came between them was Shirousagi-senpai, whom I’ve met before.

Shirousagi apologized to Alice-san on Camilla-chan’s behalf and nuzzled Camilla-chan’s cheek.

Camilla-chan happily accepted the action.

I’m pretty sure Shirousagi-senpai is a guy, so I wonder if the two of them are dating.

Seeing them so close together made Sakura curious about them, but more importantly, she wanted to ask Alice-san something.

“Umm, Alice-san, I have a question to ask―”

“Yes, well, why don’t we talk in private?”

Alice-san then instructed the driver to stop at a diner.

And somehow, her tone of voice was more fluent than usual.

Once we were in the restaurant, Camilla-chan and Shirousagi-san sat in a separate seat, leaving Sakura and Alice-san alone.

Once we were alone, Sakura asked Alice-san about her black blur, as she had said before that she had the same kind of eyes as Sakura.

But it seems that Sakura’s eyes and Alice-san’s eyes are a little different and Alice-san can’t see the black blur.

But Alice-san listened to me very seriously about what Sakura had seen so far.

I told her that Onii-chan was emitting a black blur today, and that she had been judged as a bad person.

However, Alice-san was not surprised at all when I told her that Onii-chan had been judged as a bad person.

It was as if she had been expecting it.

“Let me ask you something― is the little angel afraid of Kai?”

“Eh…?”

“Because Kai was the bad guy that the little angel was avoiding, right?　So I want to know if Kai looks scary to you. He even went on a rampage today.”

“I’m not scared!”

Sakura answered Alice-san’s question immediately.

Because Onii-chan is really not scary.

It’s true that today Onii-chan was hitting the other guy really hard.

To be honest, I thought about what I would do if he died.

But you know― Onii-chan was angry for Sakura.

That made Sakura very happy.

That’s why I didn’t want him to become a criminal because of Sakura.

“You’re really amazing…”

Alice-san saw Sakura and gave her a gentle smile.

Sakura was a little embarrassed.

“I’m not as you say.”

“No, it’s amazing that you can understand Kai’s mind as well as what you can see. Besides― you threw your body to stop Kai. Did you realize that if you were kicked, Kai would come to his senses?”

“Ah, no… I was just too busy trying to stop Onii-chan…”

I wasn’t thinking about how Onii-chan could come to his senses, like Alice said.

Sakura was so busy trying to stop Onii-chan that she found herself jumping between Onii-chan and the person who was being kicked.

“I see, so you were unaware… But thanks to you, Kai was able to stay on the edge. So I’ll tell you about that blur you’re wondering about.”

“Eh, does Alice-san know!?”

Alice-san said that she could tell me what it was that Sakura had been using to judge bad people.

But Alice-san is not supposed to be able to see the blur.

“I can’t say for sure because Alice can’t see it― but I think the blur is whether or not the person has a desire to frame or entrap others.”

“Is that so?”

“Yeah. Little Angel saw Kai’s cousin as black, didn’t she?”

“Oh, yes…”

“But was she actually a bad girl?”

Sakura tried to remember Rin-chan from Alice-san’s words.

Rin-chan was sometimes scary when it came to Onii-chan, but she was also an admirable girl who listened to Sakura’s requests and was thoughtful.

That’s why Sakura tells Alice-san the truth.

“Right? Then why does she have that black blur― It’s because she has an idea to trick the girls involved with Kai.”

“Oh, that’s true…”

Alice-san is right, Rin-chan has that idea about Onee-chan.

So Sakura nodded.

“And as for Kai looking black― I’m sure he was ready to end those men’s lives at that moment. That’s why Kai, who came to help, looked black. On the other hand, the walking cat-eared bomb looked white because she wasn’t thinking about tricking people or anything like that. She hates men for some reason, but no matter how many men she meets, she never thinks of destroying their lives or setting them up. But she’s quick to hit a regular guy with a wooden sword that resembles a naginata, so the cat-eared bomb has to be a bad guy, right?”

“Camilla-chan is a good girl…”

“That’s only because the little angel is a girl. From a guy’s perspective, the walking cat-eared bomb is extremely annoying. And yet, I think the reason why she’s judged as a good person is because she doesn’t have any thoughts of setting others up or tricking them. And most people in this world, no matter how big or small, are trying to set people up or deceive them. Because it’s easier for them to fall than for you to be able to do it. That’s why the little angel sees most people as bad people. And after all, people who try to set people up are bad people, so the little angel’s way of thinking is right.”

“Then Onii-chan and the others are also bad people, aren’t they?”

After listening to Alice-san, Sakura thought that her eyes were right, so she asked Alice-san about it.

“Hmm, that’s a tough one. Kai did it for the little angel. What do you think about that?”

“Honestly… I’m very happy…”

If Onii-chan was so angry, it means that Sakura was so important to him.

“See what I mean? But other people would judge Kai as crazy and dangerous for going that far. Therefore, different people judge bad people differently. All Alice can say about that is that she hopes you don’t hate Kai for acting for you.”

Alice-san said gently to Sakura and nudged her head.

Sakura accepted the gesture for a moment because it felt good, and then―

“I love Onii-chan, and I will never hate him!”

―Is what she said clearly.

Alice-san smiled happily at Sakura’s answer―.

Part 2

“Onii-chan…”

Sakura came to see Onii-chan, who was now sleeping in the car.

Alice-san told me that Onii-chan’s heart is broken.

It’s so hard to think that it’s Sakura’s fault that he’s in such a state.

But when I look at Onii-chan’s sleeping face, Sakura’s heart is pounding so hard.

And I think about it a lot.

She doesn’t want anyone to steal Onii-chan.

Maybe the decisive moment was when Onii-chan came to Sakura’s rescue.

At that moment, Sakura was so happy that she felt a deep emotion in her heart.

Now I know what this is.

Sakura likes Onii-chan as a man.

That’s why she doesn’t want to leave Onii-chan’s side anymore.

She wanted Onii-chan to want her more.

“I love you, Onii-chan.”

Sakura couldn’t hold back her feelings for Onii-chan anymore, so she took advantage of the fact that Onii-chan was asleep and kissed Onii-chan on the cheek―.

Translator’s Afterword: Welp, this volume was a rollercoaster. Many things happened but I could say that this volume was sooooooo much better compared to the last volume that involved stocks. As for those who are wondering, the “she” Nekokuro-sensei is referring to could be Kotori Haruka. She’s the girl that associated with Kaito during their Middle school. If you guys remember, before going to the countryside, Sakihime and Kisaragi-sensei actually met her in the hotel. If it’s not her, we’re going to have a riot xD. Good thing Sakura actually didn’t get the R-word, else I would’ve gone insane while TLing these 4 chapters in a row. Next volume would be other than Haruka coming back, Sakihime getting character development as stated by Alice. Kirara would be a big factor for that so let’s just wait and see for the next chapters.
