The land where the Asgardian Gods lived â Asgard. Vidarâs secret retreat sat in the outskirts of Asgard. In the living room of that hideout, Vidar was drinking alcohol, the new chief God of Olympus, Apollon appeared. As they sat facing each other, Apollon started
âVidar, I hear that you are going to be marriedâŠhave you become serious?â
âNope, I have no intention of making Göndulâs granddaughter my bride, you know.â
The tipsy Vidar-san replied as he spun the glass. Apollon looked puzzled as asked once again
âThen, why?â
âIt seems like that drunk Valkyrieâs relationship with the Sekiryuutei isnât going anywhere, so I thought Iâd give a little boost to the Sekiryuutei and the Valkyrie.â
After hearing his real intention, Apollon sighed.
âWhat a whimsical thing to do.â
Vidar then laughed mischievously
âIt seems like my father caused them lots of problems, you know. When you think about all of the people who keep bugging me to get married and consider [DxD], which of them is better?â
âHa.â
Apollon laughed at his friendâs frankness. In short, the second generation Chief God himself picked up the role of being a cupid for the Sekiryuutei and the Valkyrie.
âWhatâs with that scornful laugh?â
âI suppose the prodigal prince has finally become somewhat Chief God-like, you know.â
Vidar-san raised his voice
âI donât want to hear that from someone who only pursues art like you. âŠ.Itâs because my eldest brother Baldur went to the Isolation Barrier Field with my father, you know. I thought that I must succeed this role and not live freely as I am now. I donât know if this is what they call the fate of Gods.â
âBut, the battle is a different topic, right?â
Vidar-san who was spinning the ice inside the glass looked happy upon hearing Apollonâs question.
âYes, certainly. âFighting with the Sekiryuutei is valuable after all.â
Yes, while it was true that Vidar-san took on the role of being a cupid for the Sekiryuutei and the Valkyrie, it was also a fact that he wanted to take advantage of Sekiryuuteiâs passion. That was because the Sekiryuuteiâs power was the one that would be felt more than anything else.
âThis God was also charmed by the power of the Heavenly Dragons.
Vidar then poured alcohol into the empty glass and handed it to Apollon. Apollon said as he held the glass in one of his hands.
âWe intend to win, right?â
âItâs only natural that we would win.â
âWell, what will you do after winning the match? Will you be engaged?â
What will happen to the ValkyrieâŠ. If Vidar wins the match? Apollon was also interested in this. While Vidar drank more alcohol, he tilted his head in thought, and then said
ââŠI will find fault with her and return her to Sekiryuutei.â
And so that was the answer. In short, no matter if he won or lost, he had no intention of making her his bride in the very least. This man was someone who had no interest in somebody elseâs girlfriend. However, the opponent that this man had his eyes on was the one who would suffer
âHmm. Thatâs terrible, for both you and the Sekiryuutei who is at your mercy too.â
Vidar made a bitter expression in response to Apollonâs words as if he had a reason.
ââŠI, do I look like my father? I donât like thatâŠ,â
