Chapter 154 Bounty Hunters
Shen Xinglan looked at her without expression. “The doctor said it happened a month ago.”
“Great!” Shanshan wept with joy. “I… I’m going to be a mother. I… I’m going to give brother Xinglan a baby!”
Le Yi came in from the outside and gave Shanshan a half-smile. “You are pregnant now, don’t get too excited.”

Ouyang Jin gave him a blank look. “Can’t you have a little sense of humor?”
“Where is the jade pendant?” asked Shen Xinglan.
“In the drawer.” Ouyang Jin motioned with his lips.
Shen Xinglan sat behind his desk and pulled open the drawer. He frowned when he saw the jade pendant be only covered with newspapers and thrown in at random.
“It is copper and can’t be broken.” Ding V reassured him.
After checking it out, Shen Xinglan frowned.
“What’s the matter?” Ouyang Jin leaned in. “A fake?”
“Do you know how to determine the truth?” Shen Xinglan turned the jade pendant around in his hand.
Ouyang Jin gave him a blank look. “If you don’t even know, how can I know?”
“A Miao’s blood.” Shen Xinglan mentioned A Miao’s name with pain in his eyes. “Otherwise, I can’t prove it was the one I was looking for.”
Ding V stood up to walk out.
“Where are you going?” Ouyang Jin stopped him.
“Going to find A Miao.” Ding V looked serious. “She will give me blood.”
Shen Xinglan’s face darkened. “Don’t go, sit down.”
Ouyang Jin laughed. “Speaking of little A Miao, she must be sad. Alas, her heart breaker has already made another woman pregnant!”
“If you are free, go back to Australia to help He Shishi run the casino.” Shen Xinglan looked at him in a gloomy way. “Or find out where the bronze mirror in this exhibition came from.”
Shen I and Shen II knocked at the door and came in.
“Boss, do you need them to continue?”
Ouyang Jin poured himself a glass of red wine. “She is already pregnant, what will they continue with?”

“Nothing is impossible.” Ouyang Jin reminded everyone. “A Miao’s kung fu is so powerful, as long as she had a little training, she’d be a great thief. Shen, you should know this best. ”
Shen Xinglan pursed the corners of his mouth. He felt that A Miao was getting further and further away from him. Why did she steal things for money?
During dinner with Le Yi in the evening, Le Yi expressed his opinion.
“I think it should be for the manifestation of self-worth.” He smiled at Shen Xinglan. “You should be happy. If it had been A Miao before, she would never have done such a thing.”
Shen Xinglan understood what he meant. During the two years she was with him, A Miao’s outlook on life and values had been affected, including her judgment of right and wrong, and good versus evil.
“Before, when she was hungry, she refused to steal food. But now…” Shen Xinglan suddenly smiled. “I am very happy that she can live for herself.”
As for stealing paintings, hmph! The way that the government got these goods was not clean either.

A Miao was staring at the computer, making sure she had 500,000 more in her account, then had a good stretch. In the lower right corner, the instant messaging was flashing, and she opened it and typed in a few words.
“The money has been received.”
“Xiaoxiao, you really won’t think about it anymore?” The other party sent a message with a weeping expression.
A Miao replied to him without thinking, “You know my principles, I’m sorry.”
“Alright!” The other party obviously knew that she could not be persuaded.

“So happy? It seems that the illness is completely cured.” Jiang Quanyu did not know how long he stood at the door and watched at her smiling.
A Miao shot him a glare and the latter looked innocent. “I knocked on the door, but you didn’t hear me.”
“Why?”
Jiang Quanyu came over and looked at her. “Have you been better?”
“It’s much better.” A Miao inhaled. “See!”
“How are you feeling?” Jiang Quanyu held his chest in both hands. “Have you seen the news?”

Jiang Quanyu stared at her. “Are you sure you don’t regret it? For the sake of the so-called unknown danger, you gave up your lover.”
“Are you alright?” A Miao paused. “Are you trying to talk me into telling the truth to Shen Xinglan?”
“I just don’t want you to regret it.” Jiang Quanyu’s eyes flashed. “Maybe Shen Xinglan will protect you. Do you want to give him another chance?”
A Miao looked at him with a strange face. “What’s the matter with you? Why should I look back?”
“If you really want to make it clear, think of it as if I didn’t say anything.” Jiang Quanyu smiled. “Well, you’ve had no appetite these past two days. Come on, I’ll treat you to dinner!”
A few days later, A Miao saw the news that Shen Xinglan had announced the wedding date. It would be in just three months, after the fetus had stabilized. She remembered Jiang Quanyu’s words that day.
“Don’t you regret it…” A Miao murmured into the air.
