When Xiang Ning increased his Mental Power to tier three nine-star, his flying knives started vibrating slightly in the air, pressuring those under tier four with a dangerous aura. The previous smug expressions of Toad and Bird changed into alert focus.
“What is this? Did he suddenly get stronger?”
“This kid’s a bit weird. It seems that he is a dual cultivator.”

Xiang Ning didn’t even look at him and sliced him in half with Mountain-Splitting Slash as he got closer. Everyone gasped at Xiang Ning’s strength, but more importantly, Xiang Ning was also surprised at how sharp his bioweapon was. What the hell? How’d I just slice him in two?!
The cult member had tried blocking his attack but was cleanly sliced in half along with his weapon.

As the comments were flooding in, Xiang Ning was concentrating on the enemies in front of him. He stared at the cult members and decided to taunt them one more time. ”What’s the matter? You don’t want it? If you don’t want it I’ll just leave.”
“While you’re arrogant, I must applaud you for having the bravery to face us. Tell me, what gives you the confidence that you can leave here alive?”
“You guys.”
“Huh?”
“That’s because all of you are too weak. That’s why I’m confident.” Xiang Ning smiled. He was merely stating the truth. With his bioweapon, armor, and martial skills, he found no reason for him to lose.
“Here it is! Note it down! Xiang Ning is teaching us his famous strategy. He baits his enemies into making rash decisions by taunting and humiliating them! Those idiots are going to fall for it, hook, line, and sinker.”
“That’s right! He’s using words to taunt and anger them!”
Soon, everyone saw the effectiveness of the technique. Many of the cult members who fell for it rushed forward and were cut down by Xiang Ning in a flash of steel.
“Holy shit! Is he really that strong?!” Some of the students started doubting themselves.

Xiang Ning was calmly standing there, even though their attacks were getting closer. In his eyes, Toad had three weaknesses and Bird had two. As long as their weaknesses could be seen, there was no way for them to inflict any damage on Xiang Ning.
However, everyone else thought that Xiang Ning was scared shitless because he didn’t move at all.
“Now he’s gone and done it! He was an idiot to taunt them!”
“Hmph. Here I was thinking that he was some bigshot. An attack from someone stronger was all that it took to scare him.”
“What do you know? It’s exactly when he’s not moving that he’s more confident in his next move.”
“That’s right! He doesn’t need to defend himself! In his eyes, he can see all of his enemies’ weaknesses!”
“Weaknesses my ass! He’s just standing there like an idiot! How was he even permitted to fight? Are you guys also idiots?”
Among the comments, some of them were right about Xiang Ning being absolutely confident in his strength against the cult members. The moment the cult members were within striking distance, he immediately activated his Phantom Knife Formation.
In an instant, twelve flying knives flew out and surrounded both Toad and Bird. Damn, this guy is strong. He’s already controlling twenty-two flying knives!
