New Green Dungeon

I took the train to my destination, the New Green Dungeon.

The entrance to the dungeon is located in the city. It’s surrounded by concrete. Two guards were standing in front of the entrance, which I had not seen before.

Well, there have been a lot of dungeon-related incidents recently, so I guess this kind of thing has become necessary.

I thought there might be some procedure to enter the dungeon, so I peeked at them from a distance.

However, there seemed to be no such thing, and explorers entered the New Green Dungeon one after another.

“…………”

I stood there silently, keeping an eye on the explorer who enter the dungeon.

It was intimidating, partly because of their stern appearance. Well, no matter. It’s not like I can’t enter.

Well, I guess I’ll go inside too.

“Good work!”

I felt like I had to say something, so I did.

There was no answer, but the two men bent their bodies and bailed me out.

I bowed my head and entered the dungeon.

The dungeon was thick with trees like a forest of magical trees, and although it was difficult for light to enter, it was not that dark.

There were also quite a few bushes, making it feel like the forest.

But still, I don’t understand what a dungeon is. The previous dungeons had been well-lit in some way.

Even now, light shines through the trees like the sun.

I don’t understand dungeons (for the second time).

I think the heal grass has to be pulled out by the roots.

At any rate, I started looking for Heal grass as I had researched.

Heal grass has leaves shaped like a heart. So, it should not be difficult to find it if I keep that in mind when looking for it.

I searched for about 30 minutes in the forest after that, but I couldn’t find it! It’s not there at all!

I peeked my head out of the bushes and looked around, but there was no Heal grass.

No, I don’t think it’s not here.

What’s going on?

Could it be that there is no more heel grass around here? Or am I just plain unlucky?

But it hurts me that I didn’t check the heal grass area on the way to the new green dungeon.

I’ll have to look it up and remember it next time. Otherwise, this is too hard.

If I can’t find it today, I’ll give it up for today and finish other requests.

There is still time before the deadline. I’ll check out what kind of places it grows and come back and find it again.

With that in mind, I went deeper and deeper into the New Green Dungeon.

In the end, I couldn’t find the requested Heal grass, but I found various things.

For example, I found medicinal herbs.

I was looking for Heal grass, but I found medicinal herbs with healing effects other than Heal plants.

Some of them were poisonous, but I didn’t care about them.

I put the non-poisonous herbs in the [Item Box] because I might use them for something.

But I still couldn’t find any Heal grass after all this searching.

I’m sure someone had received the same request as me and collected Heal grass, Heal grass would have grown right away, so I should assume there is no Heal grass here.

“It’s impossible for now. I’ll finish the other request first.”

It took me a little longer than I had planned, not just a little, but a lot longer than I had planned, so I’d like to finish this request quickly.

With that in mind, I focused on the [Enemy Search] skill to search for my target monster.

Then, there was a response to my [Enemy Search] skill.

‘Whoa, there they are.”

I went straight in the direction where the response came from, and there was a spider-shaped monster hanging from a branch.

That monster was a killer spider.

Each of its eight legs has a sharp claw on the tip, and its mouth reveals what appear to be small fangs.

Such a spider was about 30 centimeters in size.

Such a thing is terrifying and, to put it bluntly, disgusting.

But there is no point in running away here.

I can’t just run away because my goal is that guy.

I wanted to escape without thinking about that.

But this time, the request was to collect killer spider threads.

When I brought out kobold’s claw, I received three wooden sticks that looked like extension sticks from the receptionist, proving that I had received the request.

If I wrap one of these sticks around one of the killer spider’s threads, collect three, and submit them, the request is complete.

Incidentally, the reward was 300,000 yen, and the client was a famous fashion company.

I guess it’s understandable that the reward is so good.

I set my mind to running toward the killer spider hanging from the tree.
