The rushing sound of water had snapped Lin Yin Ya and Fang Si Lin back into reality. They looked at each other, their shocked expression showing their disbelief, “Is this really An Xia?”
When did An Xia become so strong?
Cold wind blew through the open door of the balcony, causing the two of them to shiver. They each look at Shang Yu Jia and Huang Yi Qi.
Shang Yu Jia’s eyes were white from the pain, and she was a step away from fainting. Huang Yi Qi’s hand was filled with blood, frightening Fang Si Lin as she screamed, “Blood… Yi Qi, you are bleeding!”
“I know it’s blood! Get me a tissue!” Huang Yi Qi was slowly recovering as she took the tissue. Cupping her nose, she rushed to the balcony in rage, “Worthless creature, how dare you hit me! I…”
“Whoosh…”
A bucket of cold water was splashed over her head. It was not a splash but a smash, Huang Yi Qi was “smashed” by a bucket of water and fell to the ground.
Her clothes were soaked, the cold seeped into her bones and spread across her limbs. On the ground, the water flowed with a mixture of blood.
It was blood from Huang Yi Qi’s nose.
Her mind was blank from the splash and her body was numb. Only the tip of her fingers were trembling.
Lin Yin Ya had both hands grip tightly on the bed frame, her eyes filled with fear and shock as she looked at An Xia who was holding a bucket of water. Was that An Xia?
The An Xia she knew had a face that raised jealousy among the girls, but did not have the guts. When she was sent to the juvenile detention center for a week, she was weak and constantly bullied.
Five days before she left, she was forced to the balcony by the four of them and almost jumped from the teasing and bullying.
The An Xia she was looking at now was confident and her face looked frosty. She seemed to be smiling and not smiling at the same time, she looked more unhinged and arrogant than them. She stepped into the room and walked over Huang Yi Qi once again.
The room was filled with a cold vibe that made them weak in the knees.
“Splash…splash…”
Water was poured onto the bed at the bottom bunk which belonged to Fang Si Lin. She left Shang Yu Jia’s side and shrieked as she tried to stop An Xia, “An Xia, what are you doing?! Stop! Stop…”
An Xia’s piercing eyes fell on her and weakened her voice, the volume of her voice dropped drastically to the lowest and weakest level.
An Xia’s gaze frightened Shang Yu Jia as though in her eyes, she was going to die.
Death…
She braced herself and repeatedly shivered.
The water was poured onto another bed, the one on which Shang Yu Jia was still sitting. It didn’t matter that the water was icy cold.
Shang Yu Jia was completely soaked and snapped back into reality from the cold. She looked up and saw An Xia looked calmly back at her with her dark eyes. Her eyes were like daggers that grazed her skin, inducing blood-clotting fear in her.
Her lips trembled, “Y-you…What-what… are you d-doing…”
She was scared, more so of dying in An Xia’s hands.
“A-an X-x-xia, this t-his… j-juvenile d-d-detention center,..you you…”
An Xia sneered in response to her stuttering. Shang Yu Jia saw An Xia’s contemptuous and disdainful gaze swept across her face.
“Aren’t you very arrogant? Why are you afraid?” An Xia asked coldly as she dropped the empty bucket. She picked up another bucket of water and walked towards the remaining two beds.
